Hello and welcome to Shellrock Cabin, part of the Nelson Creek Cabin vacation rentals! Our cozy cabins are nestled on 2 quiet acres with views of the Columbia River and surrounding Cascade mountains. Skamania Lodge, Bridge of the Gods, Mt. Hood, Dog Mountain, Multnomah Falls, White Salmon, Hood River and Portland are just a few close destinations. Plenty of parking for boats and RV's. Shellrock cabin is a cozy and comfortable place where you can escape, relax and unwind in this beautiful setting. Within a few miles, you will find golf courses, brew pubs, restaurants, farmer's markets, shops, waterfalls, wineries, kite boarding, wind surfing, stand up paddling, sailing, kayaking, hiking, fishing, and numerous other recreational adventures. Portland and its airport is a easy 45 minute drive. Enjoy the Columbia Gorge Interpretative Center, Maple Leaf Events, Blues and Bluegrass weekend festivals, Skamania County Fair, local parks, Beacon RockState Park, Maryhill, White Salmon, and Hood River Wineries.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. The house had everything we needed and a very comfortable bed. We enjoyed time outside on the deck and were greeted by wild turkeys in the meadow in the morning. We highly recommend this sweet spot and look forward to staying again.

Such a great cabin. Feel like you are in the middle of no where but easily accessible from the town of Stevenson and Cascade Locks. Clean, comfy bed, just a great retreat space

The home was well equipped and perfect for our 5 day visit to the area. We were very comfortable and especially enjoyed the views during meals on the porch. The bed was absolutely the best! We appreciate the quality and care of your furnishings.We had a visitor from a bear in the yard— also quail, deer, and turkeys.

The property was perfect for our weekend away. The best was the surprise free best tasting tray at a local brewery. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your wonderful little cabin. We definitely will be back.

Great stay - Check-in/communication was excellent, all facilities were clean, updated and in good working order. View was great - enjoyed meals on the porch looking at the Gorge. Conveniently located near Stevenson shops, etc., but still quiet. Definitely recommend.

Such a quiet, serene place to stay while enjoying the Columbia River Gorge. We loved the outside deck and the very comfortable bed, the most comfortable I have ever slept in while staying at a Vrbo rental. Imagine a comfortable king-size bed!The cabin was well-appointed and the decor was relaxing and tasteful. We would loved a French Press or a simple way to make a pour-over coffee. I suggest that guests who love their coffee to consider bringing along one of your own.We would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you Craig and Libby.

Pleasant stay

Quiet location, saw an elk in the front yard. Close to a small town that had several good restaurants. I would stay here again.

Beautiful peaceful cabins

This was a perfect place to stay if you are fishing Nd need a safe place to park your boat. The cabin is very charming and cozy.

Best rental I’ve ever stayed at! Beautiful view and quiet. Super clean and everything you need right where you expect it do be. I really appreciated the real furniture!! Study and super comfortable bed, nice couch, high quality pillows on the bed. So many rentals buy the cheapest uncomfortable stuff on Amazon and that was not the case here. Amazing place!

Great stay!

The property was great, with a nice view. My boyfriend and I enjoyed the peacefulness of the property. Very clean and the hosts were extremely nice! Would stay here again!

Excellent, very comfortable place to stay. Peaceful location, off the beaten path, yet just a few minutes away from the main highway making it possible to explore the surrounding area along the Columbia River. The hosts set us up for success!
