Beautiful, central and quiet apartment strategically situated a stone away from Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Saint Peter Basilica, Castel Sant'Angelo and the famous and colorful market of Campo de' Fiori.

This apartment is 80 sqm and it has been remodeled, elegantly furnished and includes tromp l’oeil painted by the owner.

The apartment is located in a 12th Century building protected by the Ministry of "Belle Arti", for this reason the entrance door of the building and the access stairs cannot be touched and modernized.

Inside you will find:

2 Bedrooms:

- Master bedroom with a queen/king size bed (cm 170x 200)

- Second bedroom with a queen size bed (can be divided in 2 single beds)

2 bathrooms : Shower, sink, WC (bidet is incorporated in WC)

A completely organized kitchen if you would like to prepare your meals, dinning table for 4. Living area with 2 sofas, paintings on the walls, mirrors, an antique chandelier, tromp l'oeil peinted by the owner and other details give the room an elegant and chic atmosphere.

A small, but characteristic balcony looks out on an internal courtyard (smoking is allowed only on the balcony)

Great location

Great apartment and location in Rome. Walkable to everything. Neighborhood was quaint and right off the main strip. Definitely felt like we were living in Italy. Many food and drink options on the block including a small supermarket. Would definitely stay here again if back in Rome.

A Great Location, but grungy

Cleaning crew still in apartment at check in (3pm). Moldy shower heads. Showers so tiny you can’t get your soap. Threadbare towels. Overall grungy. Needs an update

Location is close to everything and property managers are very helpful. They respond instantly with useful information. Highly recommend this property.

Great place to stay!

My niece and I stayed here for 13 days and enjoyed it all! The location was wonderful: walking distance to most locations and if not easy to catch a bus to the train terminal and from there could go anywhere (all for only 1.50 euros). Good places to grab a coffee and lunch or dinner. All this and being just a few blocks of the main roads there was hardly any people (only the restaurant below us but the windows shut off any noise) Everything worked out well!

Cozy Central Rome Base

Four adults had enough room for a short 4 day exploration of Rome highlights, Vatican Museums, Coliseum, Forum, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona. All were within 10-30 minute easy walks from the apartment. There are numerous restaurants and bars, shops close by.

Great location and hospitality

We spent 3 nights in this great apartment while visiting Rome. We appreciated the great location, and great air conditioning! Natalia was in contact prior and during our visit, gave us great recommendations for attractions and food and helped with our transportation to the airport. Hands down this was our best VRBO experience. The accommodations were exactly as described.

Great apartment in Campo di Fiori

Nice and very clean apartment, and centrally located. We walked everywhere in Rome from here -- Vatican, Coliseum and Forum, Pantheon, Trastevere, Villa Borghese, etc. I very highly recommend!

Great apartment and location

We enjoyed our stay in the apartment. There was an initial problem with the internet, but Walter, our host resolved the situation personally. He was great. We would definitely stay here again on a return to Rome. Thanks Walter!

Exceptional

Fantastic place located in the center of everything you want to see in Rome. Walking distance to all attractions. Cafes, restaurants and grocery store a few minutes away. Check-in process was very smooth and efficient. Management very helpful in arranging transfers from and to the airport. Apartment very comfortable. Bathrooms are tiny including tiny showers but remember you are in a historical building and have two bathrooms after all!!! Overall we enjoyed our stay. Fantastic rental.

A Delightful Taste of Rome

This delightful apartment was perfect for our family of four. The central location was ideal, and we enjoyed the neighborhood and following Walter's excellent restaurant and sightseeing recommendations. The apartment was clean, charming and had everything we needed. They made up the second bedroom with twin beds, which was great for our teens who don't like to share a bed. And the master bedroom was spacious. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

The Heart of Rome..........

An extremely well located 2 bedroom apartment combined with a wonderfully informative and personal introduction by the owners who ensure their guests get a great experience of Rome. Very close to what might be one of the best restaurants in Rome, opposite a great Enoteca and close to possibly the best seafood restaurant in Rome. Everything is within walking distance. A thoughtfully well equipped apartment. We enjoyed our stay and will rebook.

Great Location!

This is a wonderful 2nd floor apartment in a great location (~30 steps), within walking distance of a beautiful church (across the street), shops, cafes, and Piazzas. The apartment was clean and was as advertised. We were lucky to have the ability to have an early check-in and the host was helpful. We were 2 couples and had plenty of room to move around and felt safe in the area. The showers were a bit tight for larger folks, but we found similar style stand up showers in other homes. Taxis & Ubers found us easily. We would recommend and stay here again.

Excellent - Would stay again!

We spent 5 nights here in April and it was fantastic. We were able to walk everywhere from this location and felt very safe and comfortable. Natalia and Walter left us with coffee supplies so we were able to have breakfast every day. We have two teenagers and they particularly enjoyed a little English TV for some downtime in the evenings. My son was even able to watch the MSU Final 4 game! I loved the fact that they left us a cell phone for local use and had things like umbrellas and guide books in the apartment. The apartment itself was lovely and perfect for a family of 4.

Great base for exploring Rome

Pros: Fantastic location - away from tourist crowds but easy 5-10 minute walk to Pantheon, etc. and two great restaurants/bars on the block. Quiet. Comfortable beds. Clean. Provided shampoo, shower gel, lotion, etc. so didn't have to rush out to a store. Had extra power adapters which helped. Cons: Incredibly small showers... hard to shave or pick up anything off shower floor. Air conditioning was fine for May but might not fully cool down the rooms in heat of summer to level Americans are used to.

Comfy retreat in perfect location

Besides the excellent location close to the Vatican, Campo Di Fiori, Plaza Navona, the Jewish quarter, we chose this apartment to get personal vacation guidance from the owners and were not disappointed. Thank you Natalia and Walter for your excellent advice. We loved your apartment! And we loved the neighborhood. Banchi Vecchi is a cozy, romantic, historic street with charming shops and interesting places to hang out. The Christmas decorations - red and white umbrellas suspended from overhead streamers of light - made the entire experience magical. Our family enjoyed a fabulous Christmas away from home and we'd do it all over again if we have the chance.

Beautiful apartment, centrally located

This was a beautiful apartment centrally located to all activities in Rome. Natalia and Walter were amazingly accommodating to us for all of our needs, they truly wished us a good holiday in Rome. The local market is close by for snacks and food if you wish to cook, and the apartment is nicely located to Vatican City and to Piazza Navona and many restaurants. We were a little disappointed that there were many business; closed due to summer vacations in Rome, including the Wine Bar across the street that was closed. Also , please note there are two flights of stairs to enter the apartment, either pack light, or be in good shape. Walter and Natalie have provided a lift for those that are unable to walk up the steps.

Felt like family

Excellent location close to Campo dei Fiori, Vatican, Piaza Navona, and Pantheon. This apartment was perfect for my family of five. There were great restaurants and stores around the apartment. We had everything we needed to feel at home including a wine bar across the street and and apartment to drink bottles of wine in. Natalia and Walter arranged our airport transportation and met us at the apartment upon arrival. They provided numerous restaurant recommendations as well as tips for getting around Rome and tour info. Natalia arranged a trip for our family to visit Capo Farfa olive oil farm and mill. She and Marco provided an experience my family and I will remember forever. The olive oil is like liquid gold. Thank you Walter and Natalia for all of your help.

Disappointed

I loved the place initially, but just could not sleep at night. The a/c was not available, so I opened the windows at night. Unfortunately, the bar below is loud at night, and thus I couldn’t sleep, even with earplugs. So I closed the windows in the bedroom but there was no circulation. I was way too hot to sleep…managed about 3 hours each night.

Great location

We stayed for 3 days - The apartment is very close to piazza navona and Vatican and lots of shops and restaurants nearby . There is a grocery store ( Pam local ) and a taxi stand and bus stop within couple blocks The listing company contacts ( Serena and Kelly ) were very prompt in answering any queries and also let us keep our luggage in their office in the morning until the check in the afternoon. They also helped with airport transfers which was very helpful . Apartment is located in 2nd floor and there are 5 flights of stairs Kitchen appliances are somewhat dated but everything worked well No laundry detergent - we had to go to local store to buy a full bottle ( no individual pods available) No dryer - so has to dry clothes on the balcony - a clothes drying stand is provided Overall it was excellent experience, except for the small inconveniences .. definitely would recommend .

Exceptional welcome and stay

If you want to stay in a lovely Rome apartment don’t miss this one! My husband and I stayed 4 nights with my sister and husband arriving on the 4th night before we flew on for a week in Sicily. We will return to Rome and will stay no other place than with Natalia and Walter —- knowing we must book early because of their overwhelming booking popularity. They know how to welcome and care for their guests in every way. They arranged our transportation from the airport, the driver we subsequently hired throughout our days in Rome. Walter and Natalia were both there to meet us at the apartment with a wealth of information about this very secure apartment, including the use of a local cell phone and information about Rome in general. They also recommended a wonderful tour company when we said we wanted to go to Tivoli. They checked in with us during our Rome stay and were quickly available by text or email to answer any questions we had. Cooking-in was made easy because of the many kitchen items they supplied. The beds and pillows were great and the night street noise was shuttered out by soundproof interior windows which made it wonderful to be in the heart of Rome within walking distance to many places including the Vatican! Natalia and Walter exemplify the quality you can expect from a VRBO Premier Partner, highlighted by helping 4 Americans feel welcome, informed, and comfortable in the wonderful city of Rome! We will return to this VRBO as well as recommend it highly to both friends and business associates alike.
