Here you can enjoy some lovely walks along the coastal path and discover the area’s cultural history, the remains of Newark Castle, Ardross Castle, the turreted Elie Lighthouse, and the haunted Ladies Tower.As you enter the house there is a spacious living area with plenty of room for the whole family to gather around. There is a bright modern kitchen fully equipped with a dining area perfect for evening meals with views over the garden to the sea. Upstairs there are three spacious bedrooms offering the choice of two double bedrooms and a twin room.Ideal for families or a group of friends looking to play golf in St Andrews which is just a 25-minute drive away, although there is a pub and restaurant in the village, Anstruther is just an 8-minute drive away with a lovely choice of shops, a fantastic bakery, delicious fish and chips and a wider choice for eating out. This is a lovely peaceful base for relaxing and exploring. The neighbouring village Pittenweem is 5 minutes away and holds many arts and crafts fairs in the summer, a must for art lovers and painters alike. Beach 2 miles.
