Our Favorite Place To Stay!

Another wonderful vacation in casa de banderas

We have stayed here before and although modern condos have found their way near casa de banderas, this casa is still private and beautiful and affordable.

The owner was welcoming and took the time to explain the home, house rules, nearby community, and shopping areas. The host was charming and friendly, providing helpful details about the property and its do’s and don’ts. The beach was beautiful, with safe swimming nearby and many local vendors selling food along the shore. The sunsets and sunrises were excellent. Highly recommend this stay

This place was exactly how it was listed. It is a bit out of town however we had transportation available or we took a taxi. Having a private pool was a huge bonus! Management was always available however we didn’t need them much, it was all great!

Excellent Casa

A wonderful location and home that met our holiday expectations. Waking up to the ocean views was awesome and cooling in the pool the perfect offset for the afternoon heat. Great location for quick trips to Buceriaso or La Cruz and elsewhere.

Beautiful property and location on the beach

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay. The property is awesome, the view amazing. The first night we were treated to a lightning storm display that was awesome viewing from the patio. The location is great, easy to get to PV or Salulita. We would stay there again for sure

Great place with beautiful view!

Nita and her manager Vanessa were great and super easy to work with! The townhouse with it’s own private pool is great and very comfortable. The kitchen is fantastic as well! We would recommend this to any of our family and friends!

We had another amazing stay at Mary and Ted’s oceanfront townhouse. This was our second stay and it did not disappoint! The home is as advertised. The views are spectacular. The unit is clean and spacious. We felt right at home. Our stay was during the incidents with the cartel that shut things down for a couple days. The hosts, as well as the house manager Jessica were in contact with us to make sure we were updated and safe. You will need to rent a car or be comfortable with Uber when staying here. We used Uber and it was easy and affordable.

Absolutely fantastic!

This place was everything it said it was and little more. Very clean, it felt like new, and very nicely appointed. A wonderful ocean front home that we would highly recommend to anyone.

So comfortable and relaxing

our stay at Casa de Banderas was so relaxing and the house was perfect and the pool was great. Views excellent and location fabulous as it was quiet but close enough to some action in Bucerias, Sayulita and Puerto Vallarta. we didnt have a car and found the bus very useful if you dont mind a 5 minute walk to the bus stop.

We have been staying at Casa de Banderas for the past 14 years. The current owners have made significant improvements. As Arnold says, “We’ll be back!”

Fabulous property on the water!

We have been traveling to the PV area for years and this is by far the best property we've stayed in. We loved watching the turtles and whales, while lounging by the private pool. The beach is rocky but full of marine life when the tide goes out! We snorkeled, collected shells, and loved watching the puffer fish! The neighbors were lovely and shared great local recommendations. We enjoyed ourselves so much, we booked the home again for next year before we returned home!

2024 Fun in the Sun

Lovely ocean front home, well appointed, super friendly property manager who made herself available and went out of her way to assist us. Beautiful sunrises, which we experienced every morning thanks to the neighbours roosters!

Peaceful Paradise

The owner was very accommodating when my changed! If we had any questions or concerns there was always a quick response. I love the feeling of being in someone’s home rather than a resort with tons of people❤️

Perfect view in La Cruz

We spent 6 relaxing nights at lovely Casa de Banderas. The house is well appointed, comfortable and the view cannot be beat. Never having stayed on this side of the bay before, we were delightfully surprised by the beautiful sunrises! Vanessa, the property manager, was absolutely wonderful and besides being a general wealth of information about the area, helped us with our transportation needs so that our stay was completely trouble free. Highly recommended if you are looking for a place to stay in the Bucerias/La Cruz area!

Amazing place to relax

Loved our stay here, from the private pool, the ocean just beyond it, beautiful grounds and the home with everything you need. Close to LaCruz and Bucerias. One of the 4 of us was sick all week and was pretty down and out (chest cold) and I ended up having a terrible fall in La Cruz that required stitches so we did spend a lot of time at home. Would definitely recommend anyone stay here. Need a Dr., the 24 hour pharmacy in LaCruz has amazing ones.

Thank you for the nice review. My favorite pastime there is gazing out over the ocean from the pool at night, watching the lights of Bucerias, Nuevo Vallarta and Puerto Vallarta in the distance. So sorry you were injured. Good to hear about the clinic in LaCruz. I have had excellent care at San Javiar Hospital in Nuevo Vallarta, about a 15 minute drive toward Puerto Vallarta.

Perfect week ocean front!

Perfect, relaxing condo with a great view and private pool. Perfect size for us 3, full kitchen, full size laundry, lots of comfy seating outside to enjoy the weather. Great neighbors, one side was a lady from Canada, and the other couple luves their full time, very nice and knowledgable about the area and have the cutest dogs who come greet you at the fence quickly whenever they are outside and move on quickly. Mo the puppy was the cutest. Great walks on the beach to explore when the tide is out. Would definately book again next time we come to the area.

Very restful during the off-season

My husband and I strategically wanted to visit PV during the low season, because we don't enjoy crowds and don't mind the heat. This property was perfect! It was super clean, well-appointed and very well cared for. We enjoyed spending lots of time in the private pool and drinking coffee on the patio, watching the birds fish in the bay. The A/C units worked great at night, so we slept very comfortably. The neighborhood is quiet and feels safe. Jesica, our local host, was super communicative. The ocean is right off the lawn, so it's lovely to watch and hear -- but it's very shallow, so we weren't able to snorkel or swim very much. There are several public beaches close by, but the waves are large, so snorkeling or kayaking wasn't really possible. The grocery store is a quick drive away, as are lots of amazing restaurants in both La Cruz and Bucerias. I suggest renting a car so you can explore the area. If you are booking for privacy and quiet, this house might get kind of noisy during high season if neighboring homes are hosting families. But we had a wonderful time in June!

sunny side up

Mary and Ted's condo did not disappoint. We found the condo comfortable, quiet, secure, and rejuvenating. Picturesque sunrises with a cup of coffee in hand... could not think of a better way to start each day. Pantry spices and a supply of water jugs to get us started was a nice touch.Sunday's "farmer's market" in La Cruz's marina showcases a variety of artisans and foods. There is also a bustling seafood market within walking distance of the farmer's market. Fantastic selection and prices.All of the aforementioned would have been enough to ensure a wonderful vacation but I would be remiss if I did not mention the excellent communication we had with Mary (owner) and Jesica (property manager). Upon receiving our welcome letter from Mary, prior to our arrival, I knew we would be looked after. All questions were answered and then some. Check-in was seamless as Jesica arranged to meet us at the condo. We found Jesica helpful and accomodating. Her timely replies to queries were much appreciated.

Loved Our Stay!

The property owner (Mary) and manager (Jesica) are super responsive and do all they can to ensure a great stay. Additionally, the next door neighbors are friendly and helpful. We did lose power for about 48 hours after a bad storm, and the neighbors (who have a generator) took our refrigerated goods and charged our devices for us. Mary searched out and found and paid for a hotel/resort for us to stay in with power (and I understand she was sick when this happened!) And Jesica gave us a ride to and picked us back up from when it was time to return to the casa. We didn’t rent a car, but had a recommendation from Jesica for a reliable, kind taxi/personal driver. I agree with the listing - while it’s likely a car would’ve been more convenient, it wasn’t necessary. Is the place perfect? No. There’s always a few minor changes that could be made, but it’s pretty darn close! My friend and I loved our stay, we’d stay there again, and I’ve already recommended it to a friend who is interested in visiting Vallarta.
