Paradise awaits you in this spectacular 2150 square feet beachfront penthouse condominium. Our living room has over 45 feet of wide open ocean viewing. The Master bedroom has a King bed and the second bedroom has a Queen bed and a Twin bed. Maximum Occupancy is 6 guests total. There are two couches which can accommodate a small child or two. We have a Laundry room off of one of the bathrooms with a Washing Machine and Dryer. Newly Remodeled Fully equipped Kitchen in 2019. There is a large TV with cable in the kitchen / eating area. Each bedroom has air conditioning and cable TV.
Watch gorgeous sunsets from your own private 400 square foot roof top terrace, wake up to the sounds of the surf outside your window, and walk to many tourist attractions from our front door.
Located in the popular beach town of Jaco, with an abundance of restaurants and shops.

First trip to CR. Beautiful. Condo was beautiful. Was in a complex with several children otherwise great. Lots to do nearby. Tours available. Store near. Would go again.

Spectacular!

We have stayed many beautiful places but this one has topped them all. From the second we walked through the door everything was perfect. The views are unbeatable, the private rooftop was absolutely perfect to watch the sunset and enjoy beverages with friends. We were within walking distance to town and there were many great restaurants and shopping. We booked all of our tours with the management office and they all included pick up and drop off service which was great. We will definitely stay here again, our only regret is that we couldn’t say longer. Loved this condo!

AMAZING!!!

We stayed in this beautiful condo for a week in February and wish we'd NEVER had to leave! The water and sunset views from the huge, open patio were spectacular. We were so comfortable the moment we arrived we opened the doors, turned on the ceiling fans and truly never needed the air conditioning, the ocean breezes were so wonderful. The beds and living room areas were very nice and well appointed as is the kitchen. All of the staff were so friendly and over the top helpful, they directed us to close by restaurants and the market, which was very easy to walk to (although a cab ride was very inexpensive). We can not wait to return to this beautiful home on beautiful Jaco Beach, what a paradise!

Beauty on the Beach

Beautiful property. Beyond spacious living/dining area. Well-appointed kitchen. Microwave was broken but a temporary replacement was delivered within hours of reporting it. Very responsive management. Temps were very high on day 3 and we retreated to the air-conditioned bedroom. Parking is across a narrow street, but not a bad walk from the car to the door. Right on the beach with a gorgeous view just as promised. Easy drive to all the action in Jaco. One restaurant on the beach was a two minute walk.

Great Location and condo had everything we could need.

We had a nice stay and check-in was easy. Security even assisted with helping with our bags. Doors opened to a view of the beach and waves. AC in bedrooms. Enough space for more than just the 3 of us. We had everything we needed to cook meals. We didn't even have time to enjoy the top roof terrace that is private. Pools were a little on the warm side and not cooled, but we did other excursions that we didn't mind. Beware there is a $10/day parking that we were not aware about and was not listed in the vrbo listing. Owner had it refunded and took care of it promptly.

Great view, condo in need of maintenance.

I planned this trip to celebrate my win over cancer and had my family join me there. To start, I'll say that overall this complex is a fabulous location and awesome complex in Jaco Beach. The staff is amazing, very helpful and assisted me in every way that I needed. The cleanliness was tip top and done professionally. My issues came with the owner of the unit that I stayed in and the lack of maintenance to his property. I had no hot water the entire time I was there ( 13 days and there were 6 of us staying there ) and where daystar tried to fix it, they needed the owner to pay for it which he did not do while I was there and he was aware that I was without it. He never attempted to contact me and discuss it while I was there and quite honestly didn't seem to care all that much. Several other issues that we dealt with were: the shower head was broken, several of the doors leading to the balcony were broken and didn't open, locks were corroded and not working, window panes were missing and levers to open them broken, leak marks were on the ceiling, ceiling fans were taken down and electrical wires left exposed, the roof top furniture was in such bad shape that we could not use it, the roof decking was filthy, furniture in the living room was broken and in need of repair, and the sheets and towels were stained and or gray not white and did not fit the beds properly. These issues were brought to the owners attention several months before by the management company with photos and he did nothing to fix or improve the situation and rented to me knowing that there were problems. He has yet to return my calls to correct the issue with me and refund part of the money I spent to stay there. To say that this affected our stay is an understatement. No one wants to have to apologize to their guests (family or not) for having no hot water and for glass missing from the windows in their bedroom. It sucked, was embarrassing for me and taking cold showers was only part of the issue. I do not recommend staying in this unit but do however recommend other units there as they are beautiful and have owners that take care of them. I will stay at this complex again, but it won't be in this unit.

The host was helpful in every way.

The property is spectacular. Walls of windows with plants is give privacy. The upstairs veranda was perfect for viewing and listening to the surf. The two outdoor showers off of the master suite offered complete primary with the six foot torch blooms.

Amazing beachfront condo. View are unbelievable from anywhere in the house. Super clean interior. Everything seemed to work (lights, fans, appliances). Exterior well manicured. Great pools. Nothing bad thing to say about it. Would definitely stay there again. Pura vida

Absolute perfection in paradise!

I cannot say enough about this property! This is the 2nd time we've stayed here and we hope to be back again. The owner is wonderful and responds quickly to any questions and makes sure you have all of the information needed. The spacious penthouse has 2 bedrooms and plenty of living space to spread out. The views from the living space are second to none- with a panoramic view of the ocean and beach in Jaco. The sunsets from the private rooftop are incredible. The location is perfect to explore downtown Jaco, supermarkets, adventure outings (ATV tours, ziplining, etc) and there is a surf school (Tortuga Surf Camp) steps away from the condo! The pools and grounds of this property are pristine and create another layer of perfection to this rental. I don't think you will find another place as perfect as this in all of Jaco! We can't wait to go back!

HUGE PENTHOUSE SUITE WITH UNOBSTRUCTED VIEWS IN PLAYA BLANCA PROPERTY

This is a HUGE condo with 45 feet of doors and windows that can open to overlook pool and ocean located in upscale Playa Blanca on south end of Jaco Beach. Large updated kitchen, with table that seats 8, several seating areas and chairs to relax in. Spiral staircase to roof top patio with 2 additional lounge chairs and large table. Master bedroom has king bed, 2nd bedroom has queen and single bed. Bathrooms are not connected to the bedrooms, but are located on the other side of the condo. Main bathroom has oversized shower, double sink with adjoining laundry, with adjacent half bath. Bedrooms are air conditioned, but the main space is not. However, this allows you to keep all the doors open to enjoy the fresh air and breathtaking views. Well stocked kitchen and plenty of books to exchange with previous or future guests. Condo complex has 24 hour security, 4 pools, private bar-b-que and is exceptionally maintained. As it is on the south end of Jaco, it is quiet, safe & peaceful... and yet just a short drive or walk to get to the shops, restaurants and activity of the town. Hope to be able to return again. Highly Recommended!

A real gem!

This condo is absolutely amazing! We were impressed by its size, location and its cleanliness. And that view... WOW! There are no words to describe it. We were a party of six (including two young children) and it had plenty of room for us all. Sleeping with the glass doors open listening to the waves crashing made us feel like we were sleeping on the beach! Loved it! We also had a few dinners on the roof top terrace and I must say that these are moments I'll never forget. It was so unique and mesmerizing. The condo and the complex itself are so meticulously maintained. The pools are very clean. The beach which is just a few steps away is beautiful and fun. We really enjoyed swimming there while watching the gorgeous sunset. Many restaurants and shops only a few minutes walk away. Everyone who assisted us from the booking process to our checkout, the owner, the shuttle driver, the concierge, the security guards, they were all simply fantastic and so accommodating. We would go back in a heartbeat! Costa Rica is a beautiful country and this penthouse condo is truly one of a kind. Thank you again Bruce for sharing your wonderful place with us. ❤

Magnificent Romantic Condo

This was our third stay at La Paloma Blanca, and our second to this beautiful condo. Floor to ceiling doors opening to full beach view, glorious sunsets and the soothing sound of the breaking waves. A magnificent renovation to the kitchen makes the whole living area a wonderful open space for entertaining and relaxing. The large dining table is unique and separate sitting areas allow for solitude when desired.Owners are responsive and accommodating, and do everything to make your time in Costa Rica special. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this five star property...... or the five star owners.

Fanastic apartment on Jaco Beach

This was our fifth stay in this apartment. Each time has been great and we couldn't imagine it getting better. But we were wrong. The kitchen has been totally remodeled and the guest room has a new bed. The view cannot be beat and to top it off we watched the lunar eclipse from the private rooftop deck. Of course we will be back. Thanks for another memorable time.

Absolutely stunning penthouse on an amazing beach!!

We just returned from a week at La Paloma Blanca in Jaco and this property is everything they say and more! The pictures do not do it justice. The condo is immaculate and the view is amazing. Watching the sunset every night enjoying a glass of wine was the best! Waking up each morning to hear the surf was how we started each day! Daily walks on the beach, playing in the waves, enjoying the sun and the amazing people...what more could you ask for. The condo is walking distance to Jaco where you can get anything you need/want. There is a grocery store right in town for essentials and more restaurants than you could ever visit. Taxi transportation was great, but make sure you use the state taxis...the are all red with a yellow triangle on the vehicle...these are the "legal" taxis and much safer....also there was never a moment that we did not feel safe wherever we went. Overall, the best "empty next" vacation EVER...hoping to go back soon...thanks Bruce for sharing your amazing penthouse!

Beautiful rental with stunning views!

My family and I had the most relaxing, beautiful vacation at this rental. The owner Bruce, was great to work with and we are so happy we chose this property. The stunning views from the penthouse are beyond description and the bonus of the roof top deck was amazing! The pools in the complex are clean and inviting, grounds are well manicured and there is 24 hour, friendly security on site. The beach is just steps away and we loved going in the ocean and also watching all the surfers. The sunset here is unlike any other. We walked to the stores and restaurants in Jaco or grabbed a cab for about $2! Grocery store close by made it easy to prepare meals in the well equipped kitchen. We would 100% recommend this property and plan to stay again soon!

Beautiful!

From booking this wonderful penthouse to being driven back to the airport...everything could not have run smoother. Everyone we came in contact with (the owner, day star management, our shuttle drivers, the security guards, concierge service, etc) was helpful & friendly. The amenities are plentiful, & we could not get over our spectacular view & sunsets. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

A little bit of paradise

Another wonderful vacation in Jaco, with truly special accommodations. This spacious open concept condo features a beautiful view, open air living (on demand!), a great kitchen and outstanding rooftop area. We enjoyed beautiful weather, and found that we did not need to use air conditioning at all. Fans were more than adequate in moving the air during the day, and the breeze from the ocean was sufficient to keep condo cool at night..... once we got over the climate shock of -30 degrees C to +30 degrees! The condo is well appointed with comfortable furniture, a large table that seats eight and great appliances and linens. Large bathroom with shower (not en suite) and second half bathroom worked fine for me and two girlfriends for a week....and even better for my husband and I for our last two weeks. Hosts were very receptive to any request....great overall choice for a vacation!

Excellent as always

This is the fourth time we stayed at this property on the beach in Jaco. And as always it was great (see my review from 2013). Thanks to Bruce, the owner, for having us back to his amazing beach front property featuring fantastic sunsets every night. Thanks to Daystar, the manager of the unit for prompt responses to our questions. Thanks to the friendly staff at La Paloma Blanca for making our stay comfortable and entirely trouble free. Thanks to the people of Jaco and Costa Rica for being so friendly and helpful. And finally thanks to Geo Molina once again for providing quick and comfortable transportation to and from the airport in San Jose. See you again next year.

Best Location In Jaco Beach

I just returned from Costa Rica last night, from 85 degree days to 20 degrees, ouch! I already miss Costa Rica and this penthouse. The pictures on the website don't do it justice. I took my family of 5 (3 adult kids) for Christmas. The penthouse was perfect! The 2100 sq ft was so spacious and was great when we all wanted our alone time to read books, or go up onto the roof to sunbathe or just kick back. The view over the ocean from the 45' wide porch was wonderful. We sat up on the roof deck most nights to watch the sunset then watch shooting stars after dark. This penthouse is the 'mac daddy' of the complex. There are 4 well maintained pools which were never crowded and were always clean. there were always on-site staff around to help you plan activities, general help, etc. There was always security guards there and who were extremely helpful in making sure things were under watch the whole time, although we never felt and sense of risk even outside the complex. The beach is a very short walk out to the front of the complex. It's also a short taxi ride or drive to downtown Jaco. We walked back and forth a few times as well. I cant say enough about the penthouse, it was well maintained and clean. It was so comfortable and gave the 5 of us so much space for our week long vacation. The owner has also been great to work with and very helpful giving us recommendations prior to our trip. I would highly recommend this location and we'll stay there again when we return to that beautiful part of the world. Pura Vida!

We immediately fell in love with this penthouse due to the unique floor plan ---- a 45 foot wide open visual expanse to view the ocean compared to the typical condo which only has a 12 foot wide view. Our PRIVATE 400 square foot rooftop terrace with an fabulous view of the ocean and mountains is an amazing place to watch the sunset as well as brilliantly clear star gazing at night. We have three HD flat screen televisions, one in each bedroom, while the larger television is in the main room.
