Cozy Bungalow in the Heart of Wellington ON

Welcome to the "Blue Door" vacation home in the heart of Wellington P.E.C. Our fully licensed short term rental home is close to everything you need for the perfect County getaway! Just a 5 min. walk to the Drake and other downtown Wellington attractions, close to wineries and 20 + minutes to the Sandbanks. Ideal for 2 couples or a small family. The home includes a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer and 1 1/2 baths. Enjoy the beautiful views and a glass of wine from the back deck looking on to our neighbor's expansive back yards.

We had some fun renovating this little gem to give it a beach house feel with a touch of mid century decor.

Bath towels and bed sheets are included. Wifi is available.

There are some great bike trails near the house and a bike rental shop within walking distance.

A Provincial Park Day Pass is included in the rental for you to enjoy a day at the beach!

Please note that for July and August we rent for a minimum of one week periods.

Very well equipped and comfortable. Close to the main street attractions and the Drake Devonshire Hotel. Good parking.

I was visiting with my brother and sister in law from Bromont Québec and I came from Ottawa. There were just a couple of little things that could have been provided:1. The television system was rather lacking as we could only access You Tube and no local or regional news, None of the streaming service worked either. It would be great to be able to watch a movie after dinner...2. There was only one garbage recipient in the kitchen. It really would be great if small rfuse cans were in the toilets and in the bedrooms. It's a bit ackward crossing the kitchen with uses kleenex etc.All in all we had a great stay and truly like the property.We are not picture takers...sorry can't provide you with any candid shots.

This was our second stay at this property, and we enjoyed it as much as we did the first time around. It is so well located, a walk away from all the nice places to experience in Wellington. And also a short car ride away from many vineyards and two of the best beaches in the County. Highly recommended! Thank you to the host, Catherine, for all her very useful communications!

My wife and I spent a week in this beautiful home. Wellington is a beautiful and quite town. Everything in the home was in perfect order, very well maintained with everything you need, including the seasonal pass to Sandbanks Park which is an awesome perk. The host was very proactive and helpful in all her communications to us. Highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

Un logis adorable et très confortable

Cet endroit est parfait pour un séjour de vacances dans cette jolie ville de Wellington La maison est très bien équipée, très propre, lumineuse, avec un garage pour les vélos, située tout près d'une belle piste cyclable, à 5 minutes du lac Ontario, commerces à proximité, vignobles, etc...la région est tellement belle! Nous y sommes vraiment bien, ce pourquoi nous y retournerons et le recommandons chaudement. Merci à notre hôtesse Catherine!

Great location and set-up

We enjoyed our stayed and found the house well set-up. It had a great location with nice restaurants, groceries, park, coffee etc. all within a short walking distance. Catherine was quick to respond to any questions and a pleasure.

Très bien équipé

Séjour très agréable! Maison super bien équipée, je n’ai jamais vu autant de serviettes!! Accès facile à pied au village. C’était génial d’avoir une carte d’accès au parc provincial sans frais. Facile de communiquer avec Catherine. Tout était propre!

Mother/Daughter Getaway

Our stay was wonderful - the place was immaculate and walking distance from restaurants and shopping in the town of Wellington. Catherine has a fully equipped kitchen that has anything you would need for cooking. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the screened in porch in the evening - lovely backyard. We will be back!!

🍂Fall weekend in wellington 🍂

This spot is a gem and we would definitely saty again! Very clean, well maintained and beautiful mid century modern touches throughout the home. Location, location, location! Perfect to walk to the main strip with wonderful restaurants, coffee shops, midtown brewery, grocery store, etc. Also close to get to the biking/walking trail. The house was well stocked with everything we needed for the weekend. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Quel bel endroit de vacances!

Nous avons été vraiment ravies de notre séjour chez Catherine dans cette adorable maison. Confortable, bien équipée pour cuisiner, 2 salles de bain, jolie literie complète, très propre, décorée avec goût, terrasse arrière, des lits très confortables, du rangement pour nos effets personnels, un garage sécurisé pour les vélos. Une jolie petite ville tranquille avec de beaux commerces, sur le bord du Lac Ontario. Très bien située pour les activités à faire dans cette région: près des vignobles, piste cyclable à 2 pas de la maison qui longe les paysages champêtres, pas loin des plages des Sand Banks. Nous avons vraiment adoré notre séjour de 4 jours à tous les points de vue. Nous recommandons cet endroit sans hésiter et comptons y retourner l'été prochain!

Great weekend!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Catherine’s cozy bungalow in Wellington! From the moment we booked, Catherine’s communication was excellent, making the entire process smooth and stress-free. The bungalow itself is perfectly located, just a short walk to good restaurants, and close to the beach, and several wineries. The kitchen was incredibly well-equipped, allowing us to prepare meals with ease. We loved the thoughtful touches throughout the home, which made our stay even more comfortable. If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway in a prime location, this is the place to be. Highly recommend!

Parfait pour un voyage en famille!

Nous avons séjourné dans cette magnifique petite maison avec nos jeunes enfants et nous avons vraiment apprécié notre expérience. Nous nous sommes sentis comme à la maison en arrivant et la propriété à toutes les commodités nécessaires pour passer de belles vacances. La maison est très bien située et il est possible de se rendre à pieds au centre du village. Nous recommandons très fortement cette magnifique demeure où nous avons créé de merveilleux souvenirs en famille.

Lovely place!

Only positives to report. The house itself has everything one needs. Very thoughtfully determined with excellent bedrooms, kitchen with all the silverware plates glasses wine glasses, anyone would ever need. As well as a supply of sugar salt, spices and other things. The rooms, bedding, furniture everything works, and the screened in porch is so nice. Communications with Catherine were terrific.
