A lovely spot for a quiet “couple’s retreat” or a relaxing "girls' getaway". The main floor of this bright, comfortable house is the perfect base for your stay in "The County". It's on a quiet one-way street a block from Picton's downtown. (The well-appointed kitchen, central location and 7-day discount make it great for weekly stays.)

The apartment is ideal for 1 or 2 adults and spacious enough for another couple if you use the comfortable and private sofa bed. A nice space for a small dinner party if not for a more boisterous gathering. You can walk to the centre of town in five minutes and browse the shops, restaurants, art galleries, the Regent Theater and more. You’ll find the well designed, well-equipped kitchen is a pleasure to cook in. After dinner, you can stream free movies and shows on Prime, Netflix or Roku (sorry - no satellite or cable). If you want to read, talk, play a game or just relax, the sitting room is the perfect place. The bathroom is spacious and pretty with good water pressure, a rain shower/deep tub and clean, line-dried towels. The bedroom is cozy with a very comfortable queen-sized bed and clean, cotton percale sheets (also line-dried). The sofa bed in the TV room is private and also comfortable if you have guests or friends staying. You'll be happy you booked with us and you'll be back!

It's all scent-free and I operate it in an environmentally conscious way.

NOTE – I love dogs but I need to know about yours at time of booking (The rules say small well-behaved and non-shedding but I’m known for my flexibility so let’s talk.)
NOTE - I don't do automatic booking and may have a couple of friendly questions before I approve booking requests. Please respond within 16 hours so your request doesn't time out:).

Amazing location right off of the main street of Picton. Short drive to many beaches and the host was very hospitable. Would recommend for anyone wanting to do a couple's retreat.

Megans' cottage was perfect for our getaway, close to downtown for dinner and Sunday morning market . Loved sitting on the front porch with a glass of wine.

Me and my partner went for a little getaway and this place was perfect. It was so cute and clean and lots of space. We were also able to bring our small dog with us which was awesome. I highly recommend this place as it’s close to everything and beautiful spot.

Rainy weather aside, we thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at Megan's cottage. It's the perfect spot in Prince Edward County having an easy walk to restaurants and shops in Picton and conveniently located to wineries and the beaches, or just sitting on the porch. Megan is a lovely host and responded quickly to questions. Beautiful gardens and shade trees to compliment your stay. We would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed the property and will return when we have a chance. Very comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen also we did not cook much, just made breakfast but there are plenty cafes to go and have breakfast. Lots of Restaurants around too, I recommend to make Reservations especially on weekends. Megan is a great host and very prompt answering our questions also very personable. The location is perfect to tour PEC wine country. Everything is close by. Thank you Megan for a nice stay.

The house was exactly as advertised. Lots of space with a living room that has a TV if you want to watch Netflix or something at night. A nice reading room, large kitchen and dinning room Megan had clear instructions for everything always with witty humour. The location is fantastic. Everything was easy. We would return if it is still on VRBO.

The Sunny House was relaxing and exactly what we needed. It was quiet and clean and lived up to its description. Lovely location and very close to the main street in Picton.

Spacious and comfortable spot.. Host is very accommodating. Not the best for walking places if you have trouble with hilly terrain.

The house was perfectly situated to walk to many places and was comfortable and cozy! Our Host was lovely and gave details on all the house amenities and rules in a binder.We enjoyed our stay very much during the short time we were there!
