It's was such a beautiful stay. Amanda is a very nice and thoughtful host and the place is simply wonderful. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the place and the stunning landscape and light. There are nice walks to have around the house. The cottage is cosy, you feel at home. It was nice to see the sheep and horses each morning. It had been our little paradise for two weeks.

All you need to do is pack some food to enjoy this wonderful house as everything is provided. Books for all ages,games,toy's and the best kitchen utensils.Lovely welcome from host.

I would highly recommend Bar N’a Criche cottage . It is an ideal retreat from the hustle and bustle of every day life, a very comfortable place to wind down and enjoy the beautiful coastline of Argyll

Well worth the trip

A lovely cottage with everything you need for a week away. Added bonus of having the beach hut a short walk away by the sea. Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of booking.

We had an amazing holiday. The cottage and the area is beautiful. The cottage was clean and welcoming with stunning views all around. Amanda and Pete were lovely and gave us lots of suggestions for walks (we had our dog with us who enjoyed them all). A holiday that will live long in the memory

Wonderful place, lovely thoughtful hosts

A great place for wildlife and windy walks and evenings by the wood stove. The beach hut a great place to pass the time. We (mum, dad, and 2 teens) were very happy there. Thoroughly recommend!

A beautiful perfect little getaway

House was lovely and the walk down to the sea just as lovely. The ponies are a treat. What a great spot to get away from the world for a few days. And Poppy the jrt loved her stay as well.

Lovely West Coast Getaway

Absolutely stunning location on the West Coast - beautiful hospitality, quiet, well-equipped, clean, and very cosy. The perfect new year getaway. Amanda and Peter were delightful hosts. We will definitely be back.

Short break

Amazing location peaceful and private with lovely views. Cottage very clean and well equipped for our stay. Walks on the doorstep to the beach and beach hut and a stroll to the lake perfect for ruby our dog owner very nice and welcoming .

Fabulous location

We loved our stay. The property is very well equipped with everything you would need and more. The cottage is very comfortable and the view is stunning. The private beach is just a lovely bonus and the hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The cottage is very traditional in decor but we didnt mind as it was such a lovely location with lots of space. We would definitely stay again.

Short getaway…

We were a group of 4 adults and two dogs. The property was a good size for all 6 of us and the location was lovely too. Absolutely no complaints… Our host, Amanda was lovely and attentive…

Barr na Criche is a fabulous property, and it did not disappoint. Property is well maintained, clean and cosy. The views from the property are amazing. We enjoyed watching the sheep and horses. This place is ideal, especially if you like peace and quiet, and want to escape from it all. We would definitely recommend. Thanks Amanda & Peter.

Quiet Getaway

Fantastic place to stay for a complete chill out. wildlife was very to watch and seeing the red squirrel running about was fantastic. Every thing you need for you stay was provided, if i was to moan about anything it would be a bigger tv and better seating in the room as two adults and two teenagers would struggle to sit comfy all night. would return again
