Our neat and tidy Kottage on the Key is a practically new guest house on Lemon Bay just steps from our private beach perfect for 1 or 2 people. Located on a private road, this bungalow offers a relaxing getaway with access to the bay or the beach. Bring your kayak to put in at our private launch . Pets are welcome too! Manasota Key offers an "Old Florida" experience with no hi-rises and limited traffic. There are no traffic lights on this hidden gem of an island. There are five restaurants on Manasota Key including casual waterfront Tiki Bar dining and more formal dining with spectacular Gulf views. Manasota Key is primarily residential. In addition to restaurants, the commercial on this quaint Key includes a convenience store, gift shop, boat and kayak rentals, bait store and take out pizza. Across the bridge on the mainland there are many easily accessible pharmacies, department stores, supermarkets, fast food, office supply and many other conveniences.

Manasota Key beaches are known for their abundance of tropical shells and sharks' teeth. Our beach is back!! The beach nourishment project is finished and we now have a beach bigger than we've ever had!

Our cleaning staff has taken extra measures to make sure our place is clean and disinfected for our guests.

Well behaved pets welcome to stay for additional fee. One average size pet. Possibly two small pets but please inquire first before reserving. $20. per night pet fee.

Better than Advertised

Our stay at the Kozy Kottage was great. It was clean. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The two minute walk to the beach was easy. The beach was fairly quiet when we were there (not many people). The sunsets were great. The town was nice as well. Tiki Bar and Grille was our favorite place we went back a few times. Locke and Key Restaurant and Farlow on the Water were also good food and service. We plan to come back to Manasota Key in the future and would definitely stay at the Kozy Kottage if it is available.

Kozy on the Key

We really enjoyed our stay at the Kozy Kottsge. It is the perfect, little, couples retreat nestled into a great beach area. Manasota and the surrounding areas have so much to offer in beaches, recreation and restaurants. After a hot day playing on the beach, you can relax on the lanai in the shade and watch the wildlife in Lemon Bay. The hosts were also some of the nicest we have seen in our travels.

Perfect clean Kottage!

We have been to Manasota Key previously and our friends are located north of the property. The "kottage" is perfect for a couple. Clean and conveniently located to all Manasota Key amenities! Communication was excellent. Look forward to staying again.

Quiet haven

Our ten day stay was lovely. Tom & Sheri were on hand to answer questions readily. Englewood is simply a wonderful place to enjoy the warmth, hospitality & beautiful beaches of Florida.

Cute and clean.

The small apartment was perfect for 2. It has everything you need. Just a quick short walk to the beautiful beach. Always love Manasota Key. Had pretty crummy weather but still a nice vacation.

Great place

The cottage looks brand new.It's ver close to the most wonderful beach. It's a private beach so there is very little people and we watch incredible sunsets.As a big bonus we also got to watch the sunrise from the kitchen window and the out balcony.We enjoy this place so much.The owners are very nice people also.i highly recommend this place.

Nice stay. Super clean house (which is very important to me). The dock is in need of repair, but it is being taken care of, since it is a neighborhood dock. The hosts were excellent.

What the Dr ordered

Quiet, tranquil retreat. 3 minute walk to the Gulf. Half mile to local restaurants. Cottage was clean and well equipped. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect Getaway

The property was perfect for us. Loved the layout and easy access to the kayak launch and to the beach. Neighborhood was really quiet. We hadn't gotten away for a while and it was such a relaxing stay. Perfect weather, perfect accommodations, great kayaking and beach time. We loved it.

Perfect little cottage

This place was clean, situated perfectly for us. We could easily walk to the beach with chairs and umbrella provided for us. Restaurants all within a mile. Everything youd need for a relaxing vacation...very quiet neighborhood. We'll be back!

Perfect for relaxed vacation

Property is exactly as described. So well stocked, needs are anticipated, and a peaceful, quiet neighborhood. Very short walk to beach, bay and restaurants. Not a busy and congested area. We would definitely come back. Thank you to our gracious hosts.

Wonderful stay!

This beautiful home was perfect for my two week stay in Manasota Key! The place was well equipped with everything I needed and the porch with a view to the bay had the most spectacular views of the moon at night! I brought my small dog and it was great to set out with her on the porch as it was enclosed nicely! The location was perfect just between the bay and gulf. The private entrance to the beach offered a very private beach area. I highly recommend this gem of a property! Thank you Sheri and Tom for being lovely hosts!

Fantastic!

The Kottage was very clean and the perfect size for two people! Check in was very easy and the location was great. It was a short walk to the private beach, which had amazing sunset views! The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. We would love to stay here again in the future!

Love this Kottage!

Wow. What a beautiful place to stay. The location was perfect. So close to the bay and the beach. So many great restaurants and fun things to do nearby. The neighborhood was super quite and the neighbors were hospitable. Kottage was very cozy and had everything we needed to cook meals. Was nice and peaceful to sit out on the balcony. Bed was super comfortable and there was lots of closet space. Communication with the property owner was great and check in was very easy. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect for the two of us!

The rental was the perfect size for my husband and I! Location was great and quiet, and the few neighbors we met were so kind. Easy walk to all popular restaurants on the main road, and close to all of the action for the boat races that took place when we were there. Check in process was extremely easy as well as checking out. Sheri and Tom were very quick to respond to any questions I had leading up to our trip. We did get to meet Sheri in person and she went out of her way to check in on how we were doing, as well as giving recommendations for the best restaurants - which we loved! We would easily book this property again!

Wonderful experience

My wife and I booked this property well before hurricane season, and unfortunately Hurricane Ian slammed Florida’s west coast exactly 2 weeks before our scheduled check-in. The Cat 4/ borderline Cat 5 made landfall 19 miles south of Manasota Key. We thought for sure we were going to have to call an audible on our anniversary trip, but that miraculously wasn’t the case. First and foremost, Sherri and Tom are great. They kept in contact with us throughout the entire time of uncertainty, giving us updates and necessary info. Somehow, the property received little to no damage (very high quality construction), but Sherri and Tom still gave us the option of a refund, which I thought set them apart. I never once felt like I was stuck with the reservation, which means a lot, given the circumstances. The Kottage was great, immaculately clean, beautiful view of bay (especially at sunrise), short 3-4 min walk to the private beach, peaceful and quiet. The Kottage itself is worth booking, but being able to deal with great people such as Sherri and Tom in the process makes everything easy and painless, even with drastic circumstances. We will definitely be back to the Key and wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else!
