This cottage is so charming and cozy! I just wanted to curl up with a book and a blanket on the comfy couch. The location is stunning with the mountains around it. We did not use the hot tub so we cannot speak on it but the outside patio looked inviting.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We hiked the Dumyat and loved that the entrance was so close. Small grocery store in walking distance was great as well. Lots of space for our family.Tip - We had a hard time finding firewood in the area, so grab some in advance if you can!

The cottage is great and perfect for family. It has lots of room with comfortable beds and furniture. The location is also ideal, a great central point in southern Scotland with a grocery store and restaurant literally a two-minute walk away.

Great location and stunning house!

8 of us stayed here for New Year with 2 dogs, and the property was perfect for us. Plenty of room and great facilities with lovely walks round about.

Great stay

Great base to explore surrounding area.Might be useful to note that one of the double bedrooms is accessed through a smaller bedroom with two single beds meaning guests have to walk through.Otherwise great place to stay

Lovely cottage break

Girls annual Xmas weekend, first time here and will defo be back, well equipped, hot tub fab, lovely cottage and great communication with host.

Fabulous Place to Stay

The cottage was just what we needed, lots of lovely thoughtful touches were included. A great place to unwind with family. Beautiful location, the hill walks behind the house were stunning and surprisingly easy. Lovely outdoor spaces to enjoy as well.

Dandy spot for a big group

Excellent. Grocery a stones' throw. Short drive to Stirling. Comfortable beds. Great water pressure. Great backyard space to enjoy. We loved our stay.

10 out of 10 property in gorgeous Minstirie

2 families with teen boys, amazing hiking, comfortable small town setting, comfortable and relaxing house! This cottage was everything a holiday stay was supposed to be! We all really enjoyed our stay, hope to get back this way again!!

Weekend stay

Great weekend spent at this lovely cottage. Me and my family had a great time and will be coming back again. Lots to do at the property and the surrounding area was brilliant. Perfect weekend.

Super Place

Awesome property- very well appointed, lots of beds and rooms, great outdoor space and hot tub. TV is a bit old, no ability to cast your phone or use apps like Netflix, but that is the only (minor) gripe i could find. Highly recommend this place for larger groups...

The cottage was immaculate during our stay. Fully kitted out and comfortable. A great size for a family gathering. Fantastic nearby walks to take our dogs in beautiful surroundings.

The cottage was stunning and as described. There were lovely touches made to make us feel welcome. Unfortunately overall we wouldn't say our stay was worth what we paid for the week. We were excited to use the hot tub but when we opened it up the water was all foamy from the previous users so daren't use it. There was a wasp nest close by in the roof too just above the kitchen window so we didn't go in the garden much at all. We did inform the host. Annoyingly the wasps kept coming in the upstairs bathroom too.Both shower trays need attention as kept over flowing as soon as you ran the shower. Had to keep turning it off to allow the water to go down.We had issues with the bathroom door handle coming off in our hands we were worried someone wouldn't be able to get out. We bought dishwasher tablets to use to find the dishwasher needed to be refilled with salt and rinse aid.The TV reception was a bit cliche perhaps to do with the location which was the saving grace. We were surrounded by beautiful scenery.Feel so disappointed we had negative things to say. Especially as I stupidly left an item of jewellery behind which was kindly returned. We wanted to say our grievances but our host was busy with a customer at the time. We do feel it important to leave honest feedback as it's a lot to pay for the week and we just expected more from our stay- sorry.

Best home we have stayed in yet

The rooms were comfortable, good size and had everything we would need like extra towels and blankets. Having a big full size fridge was perfect for those of us with food allergies and have to cook our own food and they had areas for kids to play outside and games to keep them entertained. It has honestly been the best VRBO in 5 countries that we have stayed in !

A family trip 7 years in the making

2 families from Denver Colorado area meet family from Liverpool. This was a great place with indoor and outdoor living areas. The Sterling castle shouldn't be missed and we also enjoyed the Falkirk wheel.

Perfect in every way

Very comfortable house for our three-generation holiday — well appointed, great location, plenty of room. The highlights included the large gathering space and table, the hot tub, the access to hiking, and the easy walk to the village amenities. In every way, the house added to our Stirling experience.

Had a lovely stay for my 60th birthday celebrations. Beautiful house which was spotlessly clean. Ample space for the family and very convenient for visiting Blairdrummond, Stirling jail and even the Kelpies. Thank you for lovely welcome hamper. The hot tub was an added bonus. Really enjoyed our 3 night break.

Excellent stay in Menstrie

Spacious comfortable house, stylish but not fussy. Very comfortable beds, lots of wardrobe space, good showers. Fabulous hot tub! Great spot for touring castles and countryside - and excellent hill walks from the door. Stirling nearby is great for shops, cinema, museums and restaurants. Excellent host - super helpful.
