Wonderful stay in a lovely apartment

This place was great and perfect for our time in Lisbon. We had a couple of questions about things and the property manager was quick to reply. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable; we all slept great. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location and cozy apartment

Great location and communication with the owner. Lots of super restaurants within 2 block radius. Bring good walking shoes! Steep stairs to add to your adventure! Thanks for renting to us!

Wonderful place to stay

The location could have not been better. The apartment is on the fifth floor, and it has a beautiful view of the neighborhood. Be ready for the stairs, as buildings in Lisbon most of the times don’t have elevator. Monica was our contact and she was great, always responsive and friendly. I would come back to this apartment if I go to Lisbon again.

The apartment is very small, the beds are old and uncomfortable and there I virtually no air circulation

Yes, as announced it is a small apartment with 2 bedrooms, we have good mattresses and as we are on the 5th floor good air circulation and wind. Most important is opening the windows for a breeze.

The apartment is in a good location and initially the communication with the host was good. We only stayed for a night, but there were things that I didn't like and would prevent me from staying there again. I stayed at 4 different VRBO while in Portugal. I recognize the homes are older, but the bathroom and bedroom doors didn't close. The guests were asked to dispose of their own trash. This doesn't seem like a huge deal, but there are 4 steep flights of stairs. Only being there one night, I didn't have much, but not even being able to throw a tissue out was inconvenient. There were no directions for operating the heat and the host did not respond to text messages requesting instructions. It was very cold in the apartment in February, and the beds were uncomfortable and we did not sleep well at all. The message about the heat was sent at 8:30 pm and we were asked to message when we arrived. we sent the request about operating the heat at the same time as our arrival, but only received a response the next day after we checked out saying sorry we missed your message.

Thank you for your feedback and for staying with us during your trip to Portugal. We are glad to hear that you appreciated the central location of the apartment and our initial communication. For us the communication with our guests is very important. Regarding some of the points mentioned, we would like to clarify a few details for future guests. The building is a traditional Lisbon building, and as clearly stated in the listing, it does not have an elevator and access is via stairs. The information about disposing of trash is part of the standard house guidelines and helps maintain the apartment properly. It is a gentle request but not a must do – the guest decides. Regarding the heating instructions, we had arranged to meet for check-in between 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm so that I could personally welcome you and explain all the apartment details, including how to operate the central heating. However, you informed me that you decided to go to Belém to continue visiting the city. As a result, we were not able to meet in person at check-in, when these explanations are normally provided. After that we still had contact via WhatsApp till a certain time, around 8:00 PM. After that I was unavailable which is why the response was sent the following morning. We recommend always sending requests via the VRBO messaging service in urgent matters or calling our “emergency number”, for fast help. We will take into attention your suggestions for continuously improving our home and service!

The flat was clean and had a lovely view from the terrace. We were greeted with a bottle of wine and lots of yummy goodies on arrival. Check in was incredibly easy and smooth. The street the flat is located on is picturesque and quiet at night. If you can manage the 70 stair steps to the flat it is worth it! It gives us an excuse to indulge in local fare. Host was very clear and communicative. We had a wonderful stay!

Appart agréable et lumineux

Bien situé, transports, restos (assez chers!), supérettes .Propre, bonne literie, plus petit que les photos ne le montrent, la Terrasse est en fait un pti balcon.Très lumineux (des rideaux seraient bienvenus). Bonne communication avec Joao que ma Fille et moi remercions.Nous avons passé un bon séjour

Schöner Aufenthalt in Lissabon

Moin, wir hatten schöne Tage in Lissabon und eine angenehmen Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung, zu der gut 70 Treppenstufen führen ist wie beschrieben. Kleiner Tipp der nicht erwähn wurde, wenn das Restorant im Erdgeschoss die Sardinen in die Pfanne legt, unbedingt die Fenster schlissen. Außer man mag den Geruch. Grüße Arnold

Schöne Wohnung in sehr guter Lage

Der Aufenthalt in der Wohnung mit zwei Kindern und 2 Erwachsenen war sehr angenehm. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr gut; wir haben viele Tipps bekommen. Check-in und Check-out waren unkompliziert. Die Wohnung ist zwar klein, aber es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Lage der Wohnung ist super. Wir können die Wohnung sehr gut weiterempfehlen.

Wunderbare niedliche Altstadtwohnung

In diesem zentralgelegenen schönen kleinen Apartment hat man alles was man für eine Städtetour benötigt . Eine kleine Küche mit Herd, Backofen und einer Waschmaschine . Die Wohnung ist in der 5. Etage, aber der Blick über die Dächer von Lissabon entschädigt. Das Apartment ist sauber, klein und hat morbiden Charme. Alles ist super zu Fuß oder mit Metro und Tram erreichbar. Die Korrespondenz mit dem Vermieter hat super geklappt. Jederzeit wieder!

Alles hat gut geklappt an Kommunikation und Abstimmungen, insbesondere unser (persönlicher) Late-Night-Zugang. Gute Lage, gute Ausstattung. Für einen kürzeren Aufenthalt sehr zu empfehlen.

Bien située et hôtes exceptionnels

Notre hôte a gardé le contact et nous a accommodés en fonction de l’horaire de notre vol. Son accueil personnalisée a été grandement appréciée et il a cherché à faire de notre séjour à Lisbonne le plus agréable possible. L’appartement contenait absolument tout le nécessaire et sa localisation était très bien, puisque le tram passe tout près et permet d’atteindre le métro. Épiceries en grand nombre tout autour. Nous recommandons chaudement.

Good stay with all the amenities

Great apartment with all the amenities. Washer/drying rack was ideal. This apartment is on the 5th floor. It’s very hot (July) and the fans are small and not ideal. Easy check in process.

Charmante Wohnung in belebter Gegend

Charmante, individuell und originell eingerichtete Wohnung mit kleinem Balkon, sehr gut ausgestattet, sehr sauber. Sehr netter, flexibler und unkomplizierter Empfang sowie Check-out. Man sollte in der Beschreibung vielleicht aber doch erwähnen, dass die Whg. im 5. Stock liegt und die Treppen recht steil sind. Das könnte für manche Menschen schwierig sein. Das Viertel ist sehr belebt, auch nachts und es wird in der unmittelbaren Umgebung viel saniert, also aktuell eher keine ruhige Oase.

Vielen Dank fuer ihr Feedback und dass sie bei uns waren. Wir werden es konstruktiv nutzen. In der Beschreibung wurde nochmal auf den 5. Stock hingewiesen und ohne Aufzug. Der Charm dieser Wohnung ist speziell der Standort (Fischergasse) mit vielen kleinen Restaurants und Cafés (die jedoch 23.00 Uhr normalwerweise schliessen) und wir im 5. Stock wenig davon hoeren. Allgemein wird in Lissabon viel saniert. Im Gebäude jedoch nicht.

Lovely flat

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hosts were very accommodating and helpful. Flat was very airy and the balcony was especially lovely to view Lisbon. Highly recommend. Note that it is located on the fifth floor with fairly steep stairs to access. But well worth the climb.

Für 2 Personen ausreichend Platz, gut ausgestattet. Info, dass sich die Wohnung im 5. Stock Altbau befindet fehlte. Hätten uns gewünscht einige Informationen zu Tram und Busverbindungen vorzufinden.

super Lage, geschmackvolles Apartment, netter Vermieter

Wir wurden freundlich und mit den nötigen Informationen empfangen. Das Appartement liegt super für einen Städtetrip. Restaurants befinden sich in unmittelbarer Nähe und ebenfalls ein Supermarkt. Das Domizil ist in jedem Fall weiter zu empfehlen. Und sollten wir noch einmal wieder kommen: dann hier her :)

Traumwohnung über den Dächern von Lissabon

Wunderbare Wohnung, zentral und doch ruhig gelegen, direkt an der Linie 28 . Wenn man eine kleine Oase mitten unter den Einheimischen sucht, eine saubere, liebevoll ausgestattete Ferienwohnung wünscht und morgens im Sonnenschein auf dem kleinen Balkon seinen Cafe schlürfen möchte, dann ist man hier genau richtig! Die Stadt lässt sich ab der Haustüre per Linie 28 oder direkt zu Fuß perfekt erkunden. Martin empfing uns herzlich und nahm sich viel Zeit, um uns alles zu erklären und ein paar Insider Tipps zu geben. Wir kommen sicher mal wieder!
