The apartment was very comfortable and well equipped for our week long stay in Bologna and it couldn’t be in a better location for exploring the city. The fabulous view more than made up for the climb upstairs to the 3rd floor. We were welcomed very kindly by Alessio and he answered any queries promptly. Although the apartment can sleep 4 people, access to the bathroom is through the bedroom so be aware of that when booking.

Good Place

Was just what we were looking for, just a short walk from restaurants and other sights. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location in historic city center

The property was amazing! Right near the historic city center but tucked away just enough so that it didn’t feel too close to it all. There are 75 stairs to the apartment door, so be prepared for a bit of a climb to then have amazing views!! Very clean and better than you would imagine from the pictures.

Outstanding location. 4th floor walkup was killer. Amenities in the apartment could be improved as well as communication between owners & renters. Would I stay again? Yes. Just know that you will need to translate communication.

The perfect place to fall in love with Bologna

Fantastic location, lots of stairs to balance out the fabulous food and wine you will consume in Bologna. Sitting in our dining room and looking straight out to the Piazza during the jazz festival will be a great memory. There were issues with the facilities however the team did their best to keep us up to date and resolve the issues.

The good things first,.. the location is amazing, right on the square and so walkable to everything! We had plenty of space for our family of 3. Everything was clean and nice. However, nowhere in the listing was it mentioned that the property does not have air conditioning. I guess this is more common in Europe and maybe we should have asked but we didn’t realize until we got there and it was sweltering. Three fans were provided but only one of them fit in the outlets at the property, the other two we could not even plug in, so we only had one fan for the whole apartment. We tried opening the windows at night but due to the location of being in such a great central location it was incredibly noisy at night , they were having political speakers one night and showing a movie in the square the next night, and garbage collection and street sweepers come through around 5 am. It would have been fine with windows closed but with them open we were woken up many times. I just wish that the listing explained that there was no AC. I was almost tempted to pay for a hotel the second night because it was so hot to sleep in the apartment. It would be an absolutely lovely stay any other time of year but it was not comfortable for us staying in the summer.Host was great, there were good restaurant recommendations posted, everything else was smooth!

Great location apt not for everyone

Please read very carefully when you book this apartment 3 floor no elevator they did no specified That also you have one more set of deep step on your entrance total 58 deep step not for older people or heavy set or with large luggage. Also i put 3 Adult the website did not specify that the bathroom was in the Master bedroom. Also they Listed bedroom 1 Bedroom 2 sofa couch They supposed have listed Bedroom 1 with Bathroom shover And living room with sofa couch. No small service bathroom for the third Adult. In small word i had to book one more Studio for my brother that needed to use the bathroom often. Shame on them

Pluses and minuses but overall a great place to stay. I knew about the five flights of stairs, but it was still tough. The location could not be beat- amazing! The space was awesome. Air condition box didn’t really help much but fan and open windows were ok. It’s just hot in summer. They were excellent with communication.

Bologna is a lovely city, and this is a lovely apartment. For those with mobility issues, remember: it’s on a high floor in a building with no lift. But if you’re in decent shape, you will have no problems. The apartment is gorgeous, the people helpful, and you are right in the centre of everything. Would love to stay there again.

Refugium im Dach

Mit Blick auf den Piazza Maggiore, ein perfektes Nest im Dach, im Zentrum der Stadt, ideal für Paare, geräumig und angenehm. Gute Küche, gutes Sofa, schöner Esstisch mit Blick auf den Platz, gutes Bett, gutes Bad. Wir haben es sehr genossen. Sehr schöner Empfang durch die weibliche Welcome-Agent. Der Treppenaufgang ist ein willkommenes Fitness-Training, für uns (über 60) nicht zu beschwerlich.
