Welcome to the Frontside Hacienda! Part of Ark River Haciendas located on the banks of the Arkansas River, this newly remodeled, spacious and private oasis is just what you need for your Salida vacation getaway!
Located in the heart of downtown Salida, you will be just footsteps away from all of the best things this city has to offer. From river fun, kayaking, rafting, tubing, fishing, hiking, biking, to shopping, galleries, coffee shops, sampling local eats and brews and enjoying live music, to skiing at Monarch (only 25 minutes away), ice skating, snowmobiling, and so much more. Play hard all day, then come home and relax, sip on your favorite beverage while soaking in the hot tub in the courtyard. Frontside Hacienda is the perfect spot for entertaining & enjoying time with family and friends! Location! Location! Location!

The Frontside Hacienda is part of a duplex. If you have a large group and need more space, we also have the Riverside Hacienda (VRBO # 869751) located on the back or river side of the property that may be available for your dates. Please let us know if you might be interested in booking both units together!

Frontside Hacienda:
-Enjoy the expansive & fully equipped kitchen with an island dining table. Accordion window in the kitchen opens up to the courtyard.
-The master suite includes a king bed & private bath.
-The first bedroom includes two twin size beds.
-The second bedroom includes two queen size beds.
-A second full bath is located down the hall from the bedrooms near the entryway.
-The courtyard off of the kitchen has a gas grill for the nights you want to stay in a BBQ.
-The hot tub is in the private courtyard with an outdoor dining area & indoor/outdoor bar window off of the kitchen.
-There are 2 cruiser bikes provided for guest use.
-Laundry is available and located in a closet in the kitchen area.
-The Frontside Hacienda does not have A/C.

Frontside Hacienda is a dog friendly home! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs with prior approval, pet policy agreement, and a nonrefundable fee of $100/stay.

Toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, dish soap, trash bags, coffee filters as well as face, hand, & bath towels are all provided.

You can't go wrong at Frontside Hacienda! It's so comfortable, right by town and the river, and has a hot tub to warm up after playing in the river!! You will love this place.

The property was comfortable and clean and fit a large group for a wedding weekend! The location was amazing - right next to the river, walking path, and the downtown! The hot tub was great as well! Kristan was responsive and thorough as a host! Would definitely stay again!

Great place in a great location. Host Kristan was very responsive. Love the heated floors and the private patio. Would stay here anytime we are back in the area.

Lovely home in a great location

Great location very close to everything. Very walkable to lots of nice restaurants and pubs. The vic was a short walk and very fun. Felt very safe. The courtyard was very nice. grass back yard and with a lovely hot tub that was definitely a highlight of the place. The kitchen was lovely although we did not cook as we were there for just two nights. The livingroom nook was cute and cozy with a nice big TV. Never heard any noises from the duplex neighbours so that was nice. Lovely and convenient stay for skiing monarch.

This was a great stay at an excellent property. Well-equipped and clean. River is right out the back door. Handy to everything in town. Management was super to work with. Recommend this to anyone.

Events

We actually had to rent 2 homes but this was the favorite. Our stay brought so many together for a memorial and a wedding. Travelers from MN, NM, WY and CO. The home was great, the access to park, downtown and eating facilities was awesome as our group was 9 years old to 73 years old - hot tube to bikes. Convenient for shopping.. Totally consider this one again.

Absolutely an amazing place to stsy

It is on the beautiful tow on Salida right on the river. We watched the sun coming up over the mountain sitting on the deck listening to the river. The place was spacious with all the equipment in the kitchen we needed. Wonderful island were we spent a lot of family time eating and enjoying life.

Location, Location, Location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Frontside Hacienda. We were initially concerned about the lack of air conditioning, but there were plenty of fans to keep us cool at night. The hosts have taken great care to make sure you have everything you need - from linens to paper goods - which is an added bonus.

Perfect Location!

Cozy little house located just blocks from downtown. Loved being able to walk to all the stores and restaurants. And just a short drive to the ski resorts. Can't wait to go back!

We loved this place. Great floor plan. Awesome kitchen and a two block walk to downtown Salida. It has a ton of character. Definitely would stay there again. Nice hot tub too.

Excellent location!! Near the river and within walking distance to the grocery store, restaurants, and shops. The house had everything we needed. Kitchen was great! Beds were very comfortable. My son’s dog was with us and it was the perfect location for walking him. We enjoyed skiing at Monarch Mountain which is only a 30 minute drive.

Great property, great location!

We had a great time! The property was really comfortable and clean, and it's right near everything downtown. The hot tub was clutch after a day of skiing! We can't wait to come back!
