Great location! Easy check in and the property was very clean and comfortable, especially the beds. As mentioned with other posts, couldn’t figure out how to get cold water to the hallway shower. Also, even though we didn’t use the back patio, it could have been tidied up better. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful experience

Our family stayed at Greyfriars Bothy while visiting the university for our daughter. The location was perfect for us with everything within a short walking distance. We will definitely choose this for our next visit.

Although well decorated and conveniently located I have a few complaints. First, and I do not blame anyone for this but because of the proximity to the student union, you hear all of the students coming and going all night long on their big party nights, which happened 2 of the three nights we stayed. My main issues were: 1. The front bedroom reeked of pet urine 2. I have always been alerted when construction is being done near a property. We were very disappointed after hardly any sleep during the night due to street noise to be awoken to construction work right above us in the early morning. Due to all of these issues I would not stay here again.

Great location, fully equipped kitchen, large bedrooms Showers small, one shower only with with hot water, windows could not be opened in one bedroom

The perfect St Andrews getaway! Will be back.

Everything. The ease of booking, the links to pre arrival info, the ease of check in and check out. The property was fantastic, spotlessly clean, courtyard garden fully enclosed for our dogs and a little suntrap too. The rooms were huge, the kitchen diner layout was ideal. Location couldn't be better - 1 minute to hussle of market street and a 5 min walk to the beach and Old Course. Nothing. We will rebook.

All very good. Very comfortable, tasteful and excellently located. We could not get any hot water in the shower in the main bathroom and there seems to be a small leak in the radiator/towel rail but we managed. I was quite confused by the communications received on Vbro App and from short stay (?). Had paid for late check out but it did not appear on booking details. Are there 2 comms routes? Anyway in the event it wasn't a problem. We would stay again.
