Sea front property in the quaint fishing village of Findochty with stunning views along the Moray Firth coast. This recently renovated, well appointed property provides the perfect setting for families to make great memories, and offers an exceptional opportunity to relax and unwind in a beautiful location.
The summer house, decking and patio areas give this property an ideal setting for guests to enjoy outdoor living or some quiet time reading, dolphin and otter spotting, bird watching or simply relaxing and enjoying the spectacular views.
Off street parking is available for two cars
The property has one double bedroom and family bathroom on the ground floor, one double bedroom with en-suite and one twin bedroom with en-suite upstairs.

Lovely seaside cottage with great views over the moray firth. We were lucky enough to see dolphins on a couple of days! The cottage is perfect and has everything you want and more!

Perfect location and perfect rental. House had everything you could possibly need for a stay on the coast. Wonderful views of the ocean. Plenty of outside seating with also a sunroom for those wetter days to watch the sea. Umbrellas, folding chairs, beach blankets. Kitchen was very well equipped and we had everything we could need. Short drive to a butcher, bakery, fishmonger (wonderful fresh fish!) and Tesco for all supplies. Great location for seeing the Firth of Moray. Thank you so much!

This was our second stay at Alistair and Cathy’s place, which has become one of our favorite holiday homes in the UK. This neat little cottage does a lot with the space — a bathroom for each bedroom and a bright kitchen/dining area with perfect views of the sea. Several of our meals were delightfully interrupted because dolphins and minkie whales were swimming by, and we had to dash outside to get an even closer look. The cottage was pristine when we checked in, and the linens were fresh and soft. The love that Cathy and Alistair have put into the place is evident, and they have equipped the house with many thoughtful amenities to make holidays fun for all the family. On this trip, we ventured out to the Highland Wildlife Park — well worth the 90-min drive — and walked the coastal path to neighboring Portknockie. Food highlights included the Cullen Skink at Bijou on the Sea and pastries at the green van that serves coffee in Findochty harbor at the weekend. Overall, another fantastic stay. Thoroughly recommended!

Fantastic location for wellbeing walks, wildlife and aurora watching!

The property was fantastic, well equipped, and had everything we needed for an incredible stay. The location is stunning, with pods of dolphins swimming by and a chance of seeing the Aurora from the cottage garden (which we did on one evening). Fantastic location for cliff walks, wildlife watching and local days out. Lots of lovely walks nearby and within a short driving distance. Cosy in the evening, and felt very homely. We really enjoyed our stay in this modern, comfortable cottage - it exceeded all expectations. We would definitely book this cottage again. Thanks to Alistair and Cathy for their attention to detail - we were greeted with a fabulous welcome pack of goodies too. We cannot fault this cottage, it was exceptional!

Super Lage, direkt am Meer mit tollem Blick, schönes Haus mit sehr guter Ausstattung und freundliche Vermieter. Wir (2 Paare) waren sehr beeindruckt und hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit hier.

There is a wealth of history attached to the village and the surrounding area with many places of interest to explore. The area boasts an abundance of lovely beaches, coastal walks and golf courses. Whisky country is on the doorstep with the famed Malt Whisky Trail only a few miles away. With unobstructed views to the Northern skies, and no light pollution, you have a good chance of seeing the Northern Lights (aurora borealis) when the conditions are right.

The property offers fantastic coastal and sea views, and is ideally situated for observing the local wildlife, including dolphins, seals, otters and occasionally orcas, minke whales and basking sharks.
