This was our fourth stay at the cedar street retreat. We love staying there. It’s very clean, comfortable and is very well equipped with everything that is needed for a restful and relaxing visit. It’s very centrally located within walking distance of everything. Melissa is an excellent hostess and very helpful.

The property was extremely nice! Well furnished including everything we needed in the kitchen and nice comfortable furniture Very dog friendly! The place had everything to make for a very comfortable stay. Really close to the main town square area, so we walked there all the time. Hosts were very communicative and responded to any and all requests very quickly.

The hostess very communicative and easy to work with. The location of this house truly is the best in town, no exaggeration. The backyard is really wonderful, especially for kids to wander and explore.

Cozy, dog friendly & close to town!

I highly recommend the Cedar St. Retreat for a guest and dog friendly vacation! Located super close to town, this darling cabin has everything you'll need to enjoy your get-away in Idyllwild.

Ideal Location

Walk to bagels, upscale Italian, the movie theatre, ice cream, the gift shop. . Seriously awesome location. Will stay again.

Lovely Home Great Location

The house was lovely with great access to the town and restaurants. The owners were quick to respond to any questions we had and provided a great experience. The house has something for everyone, especially a fun hideaway loft for the kids.

Quiet House in the Woods

This house is so happy and relaxing and fun!!! It was clean and so well appointed with everything you need! The yard is a 10 to relax and for kids to play, it’s heaven. We were so sad to leave!

Comfy, cozy & great location

Melissa was a wonderful host and allowed us early entry in the rain. The kitchen was well stocked, quality bed linens & comforters & our grandson loved the lava lounge. We’ll definitely book here again.

A Wonderful Holiday Retreat in Idyllwild

Melissa has created a wonderful holiday retreat in Cedar street with everything you could possibly need provided. The location is perfect for walking into the town. We had a fantastic time. If we're ever fortunate enough to return to the area this house would be our first choice for our stay.

It's True - It is the Best Location

Downtown Location

Great location for walking around Idyllwild. Plenty of space indoors and outdoors. Off street parking. Would definitely stay again when in visiting.

Great stay

Everything was as planned It was our second year in a row visiting We have adventurous grandsons so was liking on the flagstone can be a little treacherous for them as there are gaps between stones That are not filled in House is very well stocked

Perfect location and beautiful property

Loved everything about this spot. Easy walking access to everything downtown, and the surrounding gardens make you feel like you’re farther away from it all. The fresh apples off the tree and the lava room are a nice bonus.
