Yellowstone Park area on Henry's Lake, 1st level of our 3 level cabin. Sleeps 2
We are taking reservations for the 2026 season starting May 1, 2026 to September 30, 2026. We are a retired couple who go to bed early so there is a 9:00 PM quiet time.
We provide a beautiful suite in our cabin overlooking Henry's Lake off US 87 in Island Park Idaho. Our cabin is 15 minutes away from West Yellowstone by car and is located 3.5 miles from the US 87/US 20 junction. Easy access to Yellowstone National Park. Excellent fishing, boating and water activities as well as hiking etc. Views of Henry's lake and mountains from our cabin. There is access to the lake down the road from the cabin and boat rentals available nearby. Opportunities to view elk, deer, moose, bears, and other wildlife on the mountainside behind the cabin. We are renting the first floor of our cabin. The bedroom in the suite has a queen bed We sleep 2 in the suite. There is a microwave, toaster, coffee pot with coffee, a refrigerator and freezer with ice. There is also a dining room table and chairs, a sofa, and two recliners. We have dishes, silverware, paper plates, and most anything else you may need. There is a wrap around deck with a covered patio and barbecue which is accessible to guests. A washer and dryer in the suite is shared with the owners. HD Television. Covered guest parking. Come stay with us and enjoy the views and Yellowstone National Park. WIFI is available for our guests. We also have Bear spray available to borrow.

Kathy was an excellent host, she made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The view was excellent and wasn’t too far from the West gate to Yellowstone. Would recommend.

We loved our stay at the cabin! The views were amazing and the space was very comfortable and relaxing after long days in the parks. We highly recommended this place and will definitely be back again to fish all around Island Park.

This Henry's Lake rental was perfect for our weekend away. The location was ideal for our visit to Yellowstone Park. The cabin was cozy and clean and had everything we needed. The view of the sunset behind Henry's Lake was fabulous! Kathy was there to greet us with a plate of cookies and was very easy to communicate with. We'd certainly go back!

Everything was exactly as described. Host even had binoculars and a cooler for us to use as we explored Yellowstone National Park. Host were very friendly and had a few cookies ready when we got there. I would recommend their place without hesitation.

Our stay in Kathy and Harry's apartment was perfect. The space was comfortable, clean and perfectly maintained. The location was perfect to visit Yellowstone and The Grand Tetons. The view from the front windows and comfortable recliners were perfect to come back to after a long day of exploring all the beautiful sites in the area. Everything we needed to make our stay comfortable was available to us. We enjoyed the delicious home baked cookies from Kathy. It was our first trip out West, and we appreciate that Kathy and Harry were such wonderful hosts, which made our vacation even more enjoyable.

Wonderful mountain views and great hosts. The hosts collect your dishes for washing each day and are on site if needed. The little things made a difference, fresh cookies upon check in and charging strips for all our devices. It was a wonderful place to relax after a full day at Yellowstone.

We loved staying with Kathy and Harry! We were welcomed with homemade cookies and Kathy giving us all the information we needed. We had plenty of space to relax, the bedroom and bathroom were very clean. The drive to the west Yellowstone entrance was very close!

The view was incredible and the apartment was very clean. The hosts could not have been nicer or more helpful! We especially loved the chocolate chip cookies waiting for us when we arrived! We never saw the patio tables or grill. The location was super close to Yellowstone and about 25 minutes from restaurants, shops and delicious ice cream!

It was an awesome stay. The views from the cabin were breathtaking. We enjoyed it so much and felt so comfortable. It was easy to get to Yellowstone and grand Teton national parks. The hosts Kathy and Harry were so wonderful. Would definitely plan to stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend this property! The location was ideal: close enough to Yellowstone National Park to make exploring easy, but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet after a day of sightseeing. Being across from the lake made for beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere.The unit was exceptionally well-maintained and clearly cared for. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We felt at home as soon as we walked through the door.The host was friendly, responsive, and made the entire process seamless. Check-in and check-out were both quick and easy, which made our trip even more enjoyable.We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again the next time we're in the area!

We loved our stay here!! Gorgeous spot with lake and mountain views, well equipped with everything you need, comfortable bed, close proximity to Yellowstone park, and excellent host communication. Would stay here again!

Great Stay
We had a very pleasant stay in a beautiful cabin located very close to the western entrance of Yellowstone. The owners are very welcoming and family oriented. We would definitely stay here again.

We are a retired couple and year round residents of Island Park. Harry enjoys fishing on Henry’s Lake and I enjoy hosting our guests and playing cards with my friends. We decided to share our cabin because we like to providing a quiet and safe place for people to stay while visiting Yellowstone Park.

We built our cabin 35 years ago because we like fishing on Henry’s Lake and vacationing with our family . After retiring we moved from Boise Idaho and became full time residents of Island Park.
There was a large demand from tourists who needed a place to stay, so we decided to share our cabin. We are close to Yellow Stone Park, but out of the crowds in West Yellowstone.
