We experienced 2 problems.1. The entry to the apartment is not adequately posted. There is no office and no front desk. The lock box you are directed to find in order to pick up your room key is not in the same location of the rooms. The host leaves the “area” at 6:00 p.m. If you arrive after 6:00 p.m. you may find yourself lost and unable to find your room at all. Not good when outside temps are cold…. The rooms have no numbers listed on them. The host must tell you where to find the entrance to the building and what floor you must go to, to search for your room. A piece of paper is placed in the door jam with your name on it to identify the room. However, without receiving directions from the host, you will not be able to locate this on your own. 2. Upon arrival to our room, the temperature in the building was “extremely” hot. The host explained that the entire building was on a single thermostat and individual room temperatures could not be adjusted. We were told to leave doors and windows open at night to avoid spending our sleeping hours in a virtual sauna. The down side of leaving windows and doors open is the hotel’s location directly in front of the train station. Noise from trains, employees and passengers began each morning at 5:30 a.m. Fortunately, the host did respond to our phone calls for help with locating the premises and then the room or we might have been stranded all night in the cold on our first night.
