Welcome to our little hideaway Hale O Lana'i, where you and your guest can enjoy a comfortably furnished tropical getaway. There are two bedrooms, 1 comfortable queen bed and a set of soft twins beds as well as a queen pull out sofa in the living room with a 2nd reclining sofa. There is one full bath and an outdoor shower for an after beach rinse. You can swim at the popular Manele Bay and hike the guava forests, play tennis, golf, badminton or swim at the heated local pool. With shops, restaurants and the local movie theatre just a short walk away.

House Rules:
a. Quiet hours from 9:00 p.m. until 8:00 a.m. Hawaii time, during which time, the noise from Hale O Lanai shall not unreasonably disturb adjacent neighbors. Sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries during non-quiet house shall not be more excessive than would be otherwise associated with a residential area.
b. Amplified sound that is audible beyond the property boundaries of Hale O Lanai is prohibited.
c. vehicles shall be parked in the designated onsite parking area and shall not be parked on the street.
d. no parties or group gatherings other than registered guests shall occur.
e. the maximum occupancy shall be no more than two (2) guests per bedroom, including children over the age of two (2) years old.

Beautiful place. Another box fan or two would be helpful as the one a/c unit in the dining room can’t push much air back to the two bedrooms. Never heard back from the manager whether there was any beach gear (there wasn’t). A couple chairs, cooler and boogey boards would be a nice addition. The bbq grill mentioned is a charcoal kettle grill. Charcoal is 20/bag at the hardware store. No propane grill. Bring salt, pepper, cooking oil, etc., as none of that is on site and is very expensive on Lanai. Would stay again.

Erin-on island contact is great

We’ve been using the house since 2019 for outdoor activities and it’s been as comfortable as it was 6 years ago. I’ve been lucky to get the place on my particular dates so never had to use another rental. Inside is clean and spacious for my family of 3. Erin does a great job of keeping it clean and is responsive to my questions. This house is my first choice. Thanks

Quiet neighbourhood

This property is the nicest one in the neighbourhood, located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in Lanai City. The property is well maintained and easy to find. The interior is clean, with granite countertops and a large eating area. The kitchen is stocked with all you'll need, but there isn't a dishwasher. My only complaint is that the host did not send access information to the property before our arrival. The phone number for the host was not in any of our correspondence or booking info here on VRBO and I didn't realize we'd not been given this info until we were on the ferry from Maui to Lanai. Since the host's response time via messaging was quite slow we worried we'd not get into the property at the time of our arrival. Meanwhile, we contacted our rental car company to confirm our car, and mentioned the property access issue. He knew where the property was, and offered to drive there to get the phone number for the host off the sign on the fence. I'd have expected far more effort from the host to accommodate us with the basics of how to get inside before or on the day of our booking date. This was a big inconvenience for us and our car rental guy, and it should never have happened. Hopefully, this situation was a one-off, and nobody else has had a similar issue.

Quiet . . . Except . . .

Those dang roosters! That’s nature for you. What (most of what) others say is true, it’s quiet and clean. Negatives: no a/c in bedroom. Very hot unless you open the windows, and then the roosters keep you entertained from the wee hours. No icemaker in the freezer. Very funky front door opener. Strangest of all - literally no instructions on a single thing. TV was a non-starter until I decided to re-boot it. Then functional but not ideal. And it took me a couple days to break the code on how to work the front door. You tap it and random numbers appear . . . No checkout instructions either.

Fabulous!

Erin St. Clair, the house's manager, is simply amazing! She's very attentive and personable-a gem! The house is the cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed in. Large house for the area, very comfortable. About 10-15 (at most) minute walk to town. Property's backyard is huge and backs to a park. Pictures on line don't do the home justice. Kitchen has everything you need to make meals at home.

Hunting trip house

I booked this property for an axis deer hunt. The property was fabulous. My guide said that all of his other hunters would be jealous if they saw my place. All the comforts of home. Two minor suggestions. An outlet or extension cord so that I can charge my phone overnight next to the bed on the nightstand and the inside of the tub needs a mat because it’s very slippery. without it.

Great spot

Pretty well equipped house.. Fan in batgroom teally noisy! Few more things in kitchen would be nice,as we cooked there quite a bit.(ie..spatula,sm pyrex bowels ,tupperware containers for leftovers)..

A Repeat Customer

This is my ”go to” place whenever I visit Lanai. We like the clean and private setting. House is always clean. Oh, and the bathroom and kitchen drains flow smoothly…at least on the 4 occasions we’ve been there. It’s a great place.

Excellent property

With the exception of the door lock code not being set when we arrived (took about an hour to get the PM over to open the house up, which ended up being when the owner finally set the code also), the stay was great. Clean updated property, close to everything in Lanai.
