The ultimate in cozy, so eloquently settled near Carnelian Woods. This home sleeps 8. There is an extra fee per night per person above 6 adults. There are three spacious bedrooms, and loft with two fully remodeled bathrooms; includes large capacity washer and dryer. The kitchen is fully equipped for the chef at heart. The family room is the focal point with its unique fire place. This room is perfect for entertaining, relaxing and enjoying the view. There is a large wrap around deck for barbecuing and an outdoor bed for sleeping under the stars. This home is conveniently located 3 miles from Kings Beach and 6 miles from Tahoe City. Located near Garwoods Restuarant, 15 minutes from Northstar Ski Resort and 20 minutes from Squaw Valley Ski Resort. The beach is 10 minute walking distance from the cabin.

New furnace installed.
Both bathrooms were remodeled and new high efficiency windows and doors placed.

This cabin retreat is a great getaway for families. While there were only four of us in our party, the cabin would accommodate many more. The location was perfect for the activities we wanted to enjoy: biking around the lake, horseback riding, etc. The hosts provided detailed check in and check out instructions which were very easy to follow. The cabin was very clean and had everything you would need in the kitchen for making meals at home. The ambiance of this cabin was very charming and cozy, would definitely recommend staying here and would absolutely stay here again!

We will be back! Wonderful spot for a larger family (7). Stocked very well and close to everything. The owner communicated well. It was a wonderful stay. My only recommendation for the owner is to provide an umbrella or small canopy for beach days. We’d have brought one had we not flown.

Wonderful stay! This was our second time staying here and we absolutely love it. It has everything we need, and it's an excellent location for both skiing and lake access. The cabin is cozy and well stocked with everything we needed for our family with 3 young boys. The host is responsive and so kind, and we will definitely be back!

Host was very responsive. Didn’t really have too many questions or concerns because the host had a very clear binder which answered all questions before they needed to be asked. The cabin had everything you could possibly need, and then some.

Summer vacation in Tahoe

Great location and close to the local dog beach. A good in between spot in Tahoe if you plan to explore north lake and south lake. Cabin has great sleeping arrangements

We Really enjoyed our stay at the Carnelian Bay cabin! Beds were comfy, kitchen had all the necessary items needed to prepare meals. We also really enjoyed having our meals on the deck in the evening! It was a wonderful family vacation! Thank you so much!

We had a wonderful time and found everything we could possibly need. The kitchen was fully stocked and the cabin was beautifully decorated. The host was very thoughtful and responsive. Thank you for letting us stay at your lovely cabin. Highly recommend and would love to come back in the future

Great location, classic cabin with fun layout and ample space for our crew of 6. Cathy is a great host and we’d love to stay agin next summer. Short walk to two restaurants, all the hiking trails, and the lake. An awesome experience!

Lovely, quiet neighborhood with roomy cabin

Our hosts were very responsive, and our stay was lovely. The L-shaped deck with dining table (and umbrella) is a treat, and the newish bathrooms are wonderful. The location--somewhere between Kings Beach and Tahoe City--is terrific, and Carnelian Bay has its own charms as well.

Great cozy cabin

We loved the layout and space of this cabin! Awesome location in Carnelian woods but also near rocky Patton Beach. The fireplace was cozy and wonderful for our unexpectedly rainy Labor Day weekend.

Wonderful Stay

Pictures do not do justice to how beautiful this cabin is. We had a very relaxing Christmas get-away with family. We loved the short walk to the beach and location overall was great. I would highly recommend.

I grew up in a small town in Nevada and I used to vacation with my family in Lake Tahoe. I always dreamed of having a place in Lake Tahoe. I was able to fulfill that dream when my husband and I were able to purchase this place in 2016. We purchased it from a family that owned this cabin since 1979 and they told us they have a lot of memories that they created over the years. My husband and I are hoping to make our own memories along with our daughter and son and hopefully their family and friends in the coming years. We also hope to share this place with other people who love and admire one of the most beautiful places on planet earth; Lake Tahoe
