(>23 to book) Conveniently located in walking distance to a boat ramp, with easy river access to salt and fresh water fishing. Park your boat on your private pier and take advantage of the LED lights for night fishing. Between New Orleans, Slidell, and the Gulf Coast, you will find anything and everything to build a fantastic trip! Nearby entertainment includes New Orleans, MS beaches, casinos, shopping, restaurants, and swamp tours. Enjoy river fun, sitting around the fire pit under the oaks, relaxing in the hammock, board games, etc. And did we mention the sunsets are AMAZING?! You won't want to leave!

Peaceful river house

We had such a relaxing weekend. The house is equipped with everything you need for a river vacation. We kayaked, fished on the dock, enjoyed beautiful sunsets. It is a quick drive into New Orleans so we spent one day in the city. This is a remote cabin so the nearest real stores/restaurants are in Slidell which is 20 mins away. But the kitchen is great so you can cook anything you want. We will be back again!

A Cozy Home for the Holidays!

We've rented this property before, and the feeling was the exact same! The sunsets are unreal! The view is absolutely breathtaking and it never gets old. The property is enjoyable for both young kids and adults; it feels like a secluded island. The house is a comfortable and cozy stay, equipped with everything you need to feel right at home.

We swam and fished in the river. Jill was responsive when we had questions. We booked this camp because it suited our needs, but we ended up loving it and changed plans so we could play by the river.

The View is worth the clutter

We loved staying here, the view and all the amenities, owners were great to deal with and the location is amazing. Only downside for me was the disorganization of the cabinets, refrigerator and closets. Not horrible but for an OCD person it was challenging. Would totally recommend this property.

Oasis of Peace

We visited during Mardi Gras and this home was the perfect sanctuary to return to after the chaos of the city. The commute is longer than I usually like, but it was definitely worth it. The owner is professional and communicative. I would absolutely stay there again!

Waterfront cabin that feels warm and welcoming.

We loved the camp! We didn’t get to use it a lot other then for sleeping because we were there for Mardi Gras! I would for sure book it again especially to take advantage of the fishing!

Beautiful Respite

We stayed at this property as a launching pad to explore the new orleans area. It was absolutely perfect for our needs. We are a family of 6, there was more than enough space for us, a well appointed kitchen and we loved playing games on the porch!

Good Times

Had a great stay at the camp. Was able to launch the boat at the boat ramp at the end of the street. The place has everything you need and a great back porch. Will be back.

Spring Break

We spent a few days over spring break. The home is clean, well kept, and quiet. The master bed is not very comfortable but the other beds are. Kitchen is very nice and has everything you need. Bathrooms were also updated and clean. Overall great stay. I would recommend it.
