This 3-bedroom/2 bath cottage has it all! Launch your boat from the nearby boat ramp and tie it off at the dock for some of the best fishing around. With everything you need here for your retreat, you may just want to stay in and cook from the fully-equipped kitchen or BBQ on the large deck. For cooler nights, warm up by the fireplace located in the open living/kitchen/dining room. Enjoy your morning cup of coffee on the screened porch, read your favorite book from the swing, fish right off the dock and take in the breathtaking sunsets in the evening. For your more adventurous side, explore the area, which in just a quick drive you'll find gulf beaches, the historic Old Town Bay St Louis with great restaurants and shops, and two casinos. And just an hour away, you can visit New Orleans. This home has all the conveniences you'll need for your stay, including a laundry. What more could you want?

Cottage Definately has Charm!

We really enjoyed our stay and will definately come back. The house was clean and well equipped. Very quiet neighborhood too which we loved. Host could not have been nicer or more accomodating.

Perfect vacation home

Pictures don't do this place justice, such a great property with everything you can possibly need. We put our boat in the water and was able to tie it up and walk right into the house. We will be staying here again next year!

It was very quiet and peaceful in this area. The accomidations would be great for someone who is into boating and fishing. The locals call this type of home a "camp."

Such a wonderful time. I want to return.

Great stay at Boudreaux's on the bayou😊Very smartly decorated and clean. Open floor plan, screened porch, and open deck provided plenty of room to entertain nearby family. Shopping and interstate convenient.I hope to be able to spend a month next time.

Great home for a family get away

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this home. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to prepare meals in. Our family enjoyed the fishing, from the dock, and the fishing supplies provided. Close to New Orleans and lots of sight-seeing activities. We would definitely return.

Marvelous little place great location!

This property is just as pictured. The outside deck is marvelous. The sunset is beautiful. It is perfectly located close to the beach and the quaint town of Bay St. Louis. We hope to find time to go back again soon!

A wonderful place to stay

We enjoyed our stay here, to the max. It is so quiet and peaceful, with surprising things to see on the bayou. The screened porch was used morning and night. Everything was stocked, I don't think our host,forgot a thing. I would definitely stay here again. Quiet neighborhood, easy to find. Close to almost any store or restaurant you would want.

We didn't want to leave!

I can't say enough good things about this place, or it's owners. My husband and two sons and I had such a nice relaxing time, and my husband really enjoyed fishing off the dock. The house was comfortable, clean, and inviting. We will definitely be back!

Relaxing Escape

The property is located perfectly to many attractions on the Gulf Coast. The house was spacious and the screened in porch was so relaxing with a swing, sofa, table and rocker. Then the huge deck with lots of seating was great for BBQ and a short walk down stairs to fishing off of the pier. There is also parking under the house which was a plus during the rain! We will definitely be back to this fun VRBO soon.

Wonderful Relaxing stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! We rented this house for a long weekend to get away and relax. This house was perfect for that. The location is quiet and peaceful. The house is stocked with everything you need including crab traps, fishing poles, kayaks and even coffee and creamer! The owner were wonderful. There was a nice book in the house that told us about local attractions and even recommended restaurants. We will definitely be back for another visit.

Stayed three nights, April 9 through April 12 2017, and it was wonderful!!!

Loved, loved, loved this "piece of paradise"! So tranquil, comfortable, and relaxing. My husband and I stayed three nights and hardly went anywhere. Spent most of our time on the screened porch or on the deck just enjoying the peace and quite. Looking forward to making a return trip... soon! Thank you, Britt and Jody, for the use of your home.

Home away from home

We had a great 3 week stay. The house was well stocked, and close enough to grocery and discount stores so that we had everything we needed. Weather was wet many days, so we stayed in during the rain and enjoyed the many jigsaw puzzles (I think we completed 5) and watching the daily tides, sunsets and changes in bayou. On dry days there were hikes, beaches, fishing and exploring the area, including New Orleans. Overall a very nice winter retreat.

An awesome vacation spot

When we arrived there was an air conditioning issue and Jodie had it fixed within 2 hours of us being there.... She was spot on and always available... I can't say enough about this property... It was beautiful and quiet.. Is we thoroughly enjoyed our vacation.... We will definitely return

Highly Recommend.

Great rental. Clean, comfortable, cozy, quiet, great location to the area, very reasonable priced, nicely furnished. Just a nice place to relax, slow down, and enjoy. We all loved the screened porch, and large deck. It would be hard to find a better place to stay in this area for the price. Owner very easy to work with. We have found a new designation location when we travel to this area. We will return.

Even better in person

We had a wonderful time!!! Jody and Brit were the sweetest. Looking forward to coming back. The camp had everything we needed and then some. Very spacious, comfortable, great location.We were there 4 nights/5days and didn't get a chance to do everything we wanted to do. No complaints at all. Thank you Jody and Brit for sharing your home away from home.

Unlike some of the other properties, this home is not on a canal so your view is not only of the beautiful bayou but of the marshland landscape that can't be beat! It's in a quiet neighborhood that provides the perfect setting for a relaxed retreat!
