Great location to explore, good facilities,quiet area, quaint olde worlde vibes. Check out walk from sandling statuon via old tunnel to rectory road .

A lovely cottage

We have stayed at Claires Cottage a number of times. It's a lovely place to stay, with a pretty cottage garden to come back to after days out. Hythe is a great town and to stay and easy to find somewhere to visit.

Claire's cottage was absolutely delightful! It has everything you need for a few days away. It's so cosy, with a beautiful garden and easy access to the coast. I had a very restful stay & will definitely be back.

A very enjoyable stay

Claire’s Cottage is a very cosy, warm cottage. It is also very well equipped and had all the amenities you might need. The owner took great trouble in decorating it for Christmas and made it very welcoming.

A great stay in a lovely little cottage

Enjoyed the cosiness of this lovely little cottage. It welcomed us home evertime we returned to it. Very well equipped even down to hot water bottles if needed..We intend to return. If there is a down side it would be it does still have old fashioned storage heating, which is adequate but has to be set for the next day heat requirements in advance. The cottage could benefit with upgrading this form of heating. Hence score 4 for comfort

Another Lovely Visit

Have stayed in the cottage a few times and ideal for us visiting family and friends. The cottage is small but very comfortable, enough for 2 people. The garden is looking lovely, with all the flowers starting to come out. For holiday visitors it is in the ideal place for visiting around this part of Kent

Cosy and comfortable

Lovely cottage, cosy and comfortable. Been twice to the cottage and will go there again next year. Has everything you need in the kitchen, the bed is comfortable and a good sized shower/bathroom.

The cottage was a very small quaint one but the size only added to the comfortable atmosphere, everything needed was provided and in good clean condition. A lovely relaxing 8 nights.

Lovely period cottage

We have stayed at Claire's Cottage for the last three years. Its a lovely period cottage, well equipped, tastefully decorated and very homely. It has a pretty cottage garden which is lovely to come back to after a day out.

Steep Hills

Cottage has steep stairs and is on the top of steep hills. Local taxi is a must for the end of the day, but there are good views when walking down to the high street and seafront in the morning. Wish there were some usb ports near the bed to charge mobiles. Lovely garden and homely decor. Hythe is well located for the little train to Dungeness and s good bus service runs along the coast, so you can manage without the car for a few days which was great.

Compact character cottage

This is a compact character cottage for two, well presented and clean. We liked the nice touches of strawberries and cream for our scones and fresh flowers in the rooms. The charming, sunny, little garden is an added bonus. Parking is on the roadside nearby and it was never a problem at any time of day when we were there. There are no parking restrictions. It's an easy downhill walk into the centre of Hythe, though a bit more arduous on the return journey. However, it's on a regular bus route in and out of the centre if you don't want to take the car.

Pretty cottage

This is a pretty cottage with a lovely garden in a peaceful and excellent location with plenty of on street parking. We did however find the bed quite uncomfortable but this is personal preference. Also, the stairs are very narrow and the doorways low (I hit my head several times) so if you’re tall take this into consideration. The water in the bathroom tap was scalding so maybe could be adjusted. The owner left a thoughtful welcome pack of a cream tea which was lovely and the cottage was good value.

Sehr schönes und gemütliches Cottage. Alles war sauber und nichts hat gefehlt. Ich konnte den schönen Garten genießen und habe mich sehr über die Osterdekoration gefreut. Das Cottage ist mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet.
