Cherokee Ridge 6 - The Perfect Little Pet Friendly Getaway
Welcome to your perfect little getaway. With the open floor plan, you can enjoy the television from the couch or the king size bed. There is a faux flame electric stove heater for atmosphere and additional warmth.
The cabin has a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave and a standard drip coffee maker. There is a washer and dryer for your convenience. The bathroom comes with a full size tub and shower. The hot tub is out of service at this time. (04/01/26)
Please note that this is an open floor plan or studio cottage. This cottage does not have a private bedroom.
Located only a couple of miles from Unicoi State Park where you will find swimming, hiking and fishing. It is located approximately 4 to 5 miles from downtown Helen.
This is a pet-friendly cabin and a one-time per-pet fee will be added if you bring your dog(s). The pet fees that will be added to your reservation are $100 + tax for the first and $50 + tax for each additional.
• Minimum Age Requirement: Cherokee Ridge 6 is available to families or to guests 21 years and older.
• Parking: Space is available for 2 vehicles.
• Access: The road is dirt and gravel up to the property. Low profile vehicles not recommended.
• Pets: Cherokee Ridge 6 is pet-friendly.
• Location: 5 miles to downtown Helen.

We arrived later than expected, but checking into the cabin was easy and hassle-free. The cabin was clean and well prepared for our arrival. There was a slight musty smell inside, but that’s not too surprising considering the cabin is tucked away in the woods. The location offers plenty of seclusion, aside from a few other cabins along the same dirt road. Overall, we had a good experience. It was a nice, relaxing weekend getaway for us, and we enjoyed our stay.

Everything was perfect for 2 people. Not enough pots and pans, no seasoning or zip lock bags. It was quite, no neighbors, no one to bother you. It was just what we needed for our 16th anniversary

Not bad but it is in the middle of no where! Reminded me of Cabin in the Woods. It served our purpose, just needs a little updating inside and out.

We enjoyed our stay. Cabin was cozy, clean, and large enough for the two of us and our dogs. The hot tub was a nice relaxing experience and it was private enough to allow us to unwind. We had a great stay.The property management company was very attentive also.

Overall, we had a great stay. The cabin was all that we needed for cooking some simple meals and relaxing after a day of hiking in Unicoi or exploring Helen. There was an issue with the hot tub, but the porch was still a great place to sit and enjoy the sounds of the forest.

We had a great visit. We were able to bring pets. They even left pet treats for our dog. The directions were perfect. The kitchenware and stuff stocked in the kitchen was completely sufficient for what we needed. Be careful not to fall asleep in the hot tub you might come back really really relaxed. Will definitely go there again.

Excellent getaway for two!
This was the perfect getaway for our “mini” honeymoon! The cabin was beautiful, quaint, and cozy. A very short and easy drive to Helen and perfectly secluded for privacy and comfort!

Relaxing at the Cherokee #6
Thoroughly enjoyed our time here! The cabin looked even better in person than the pictures online. We will be back for another stay!

Good little place
Overall, we enjoyed staying here. Nice little setup for a couple to get away. I would stay here again. Communication with the property manager was excellent.

Cute Cabin
The cabin was clean, quiet, cute, and close to many activities! The bed was huge and comfortable! The hot tub and firepit were really enjoyable. I loved the porch that was enclosed and wrapped around the cabin. I would stay here again!

Anniversary get away
Wonderful property. Quiet neighborhood. The hot tub was amazing. The bed was a little too hard for our likening. Over all a wonderful trip.
