* Three well-decorated bedrooms, two bathrooms (but only one shower). Sleeps up to 8 persons, but best for 4-6 persons.

* Located in beautiful Wears Valley -- Just 15-20 minutes to the heart of Pigeon Forge away over paved county roads.

* Easy parking -- Spacious circular drive takes you right to the covered front porch.

You won't find may true log cabin homes like this one in the Smokies, particularly one on the side of a beautiful mountain with such nice views! We ask our guests not to expect anything too fancy, but we make it as comfortable as possible. It has three-bedrooms and most amenities that would could fit in, like an oversized indoor jacuzzi tub, three satellite TVs, a hot tub on the back deck overlooking the valley below, a pool table, rocking chairs to view the distant mountains, and a fully stocked kitchen. Easy access to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg and the Smoky Mountain National Park via scenic paved country roads. The cabin is nicely decorated, with family heirlooms, paintings and prints from local artists, and themes for each bedroom -- deer/elk, bears and mountain cabin themes. Everything you could want for a great vacation in the Smokies.

Cabin was just as described clean plenty of room safe and private. Host was great left a message on my phone if needed anything just call. Had a great trip.

The cabin was in a good location with a short drive to everything we had planned. The view from the back deck was the best part of the cabin. However, we were very disappointed with the cleanliness. There was a significant amount of dust everywhere as well as dead bugs in the cabinet. The owner was very responsive, checked in multiple times and did give us a small refund.

Thanks for staying at our cabin and we're glad you enjoyed the view. We're so sorry the cabin was not sufficiently cleaned for your stay. We've had a wonderful couple clean our cabin for several years now, but the husband had gotten sick and the wife took on the duties herself for a while and obviously was not able to do so. The good news is that the husband is now better. We notified them of the cleanliness issues and we're sure they have worked diligently to correct them. But there's no excuse for cleanliness issues in a cabin you rented and we really apologize.

Cabin was just as described, we had a fantastic week watching movies and relaxing by the fire. Also close enough to town to see all the sites and attractions. Thanks for a great week. Look forward to staying again in the future. :)

Loved the cabin, didn't use hot tub, host was very nice. The bar chairs was dirty, oven needed clean, the towels smelled sour, and there was used kleenex under the bed.

The host was very easy to communicate with and honest about the cabin. A few small upgrades would have been nice (not really any tv channels and WiFi was limited) which wouldn’t have been an issue if it wasn’t as rainy haha! A non-motion light on the front porch would be better since you had to open the door to turn on the light to make sure there weren’t any bears. Beautiful scenery!

Thanks for staying at our cabin and we're glad you enjoyed the view. We do have wifi, but the internet is a bit slower than what most people are used to because our cabin is in the country and we have to rely on satellite, rather than cable. And we also have DirecTV, which doesn't have the premium listings, but will hopefully satisfy most people's viewing needs for the few days they are there. And the motion-detector light on the front porch is so when people drive up at night the light will turn on automatically to make it easier for them to get into the cabin. Presumably, it would also come on if a bear walked by, but fortunately that has never happened (at least as far as we know). : ) Thanks again for staying with us. Hayden and Jewel

This cabin was a great find! The View off the back balcony is amazing! We enjoyed the hot tub a couple nights and the family really enjoyed the pool table upstairs in the loft! Would highly recommend anyone coming into the area to stay here. It was nice that it was off the beaten path so we are able to avoid a lot of the busyness of Gatlinburg / Pigeon Forge. We also appreciated that the dining table was a good size for six people to eat meals and play board games.

Hayden is a great host. The cabin is very charming and the area it's in is just beautiful! We were coming on the snow storm weekend and Hayden was very informative and helpful so we would be prepared. I would go here again and definitely will recommend to others.

It was very private and quiet. We loved the view from the balcony, it was just a gorgeous view day and night. The low temperatures at night allowed us to enjoy the fireplace. It was a great place to stay.

Beautiful view! Hot tub was warm and ready when we finally arrived after a cross-country flight. Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, and kitchen had everything we needed. We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful cabin!

Hayden and Jewel bought this cabin way back in 1999. Being from the flatlands of Houston and Bangkok respectively, we had always a place in the mountains. We have had numerous wonderful family vacations here, and now enjoy renting it out to other folks who want a real mountain experience.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

This cabin is on the side of a mountain about 15 minutes from Pigeon Forge. So it's outside the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas, but still very accessible with lots of peace and quiet. We really just enjoy relaxing at the cabin and admiring the view for the back deck.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

As we tell our guests, it's JUST a log cabin. We make it as comfy as possible, but it's not one of the super-fancy log homes you will see popping up in the area. Nor is it in a "cabin community" with dozens of cabins built right beside one another. It's just what we wanted, It's quiet, homey, has a nice view and is easy to get to. Perfect for our family, and hopefully for yours as well.
