The building was constructed in 1880. The upstairs was converted into an industrial style apartment which hosts a large glassed in balcony overlooking the Mississippi River. The master suit includes a large bathroom with walk in shower and locally made round bathtub. It is located in downtown Cape Girardeau where there are numerous antique stores, restaurants, and historical sites within walking distance.

I have many passions and 1 of them is a love for old buildings. I love the history they provide and the lives that they have affected. I try to restore them to their former glory with a touch of modern comforts so they can continue to provide a place for even more memories. I also love to travel and prefer the comfort of staying in a home rather than a hotel. My hope is to provide people with an amazing experience that they will remember just as I have amazing memories of places I've been.

This is a unique property with amazing river views in the middle of downtown Cape Girardeau. It's close to the casino, excellent dining and unique shopping. The cabinets were made in the late 1800's and were pulled from a previous downtown jewelry store. The building was originally a hardware store built in the late 1800's. You will find a notebook with historical information along with the many places to visit and activities available in the area.
