PROVIDENCE is a vacation paradise located on a lush two acre estate on tropical CAPTIVA ISLAND Florida. Located on Wulfert Channel, a short walk along a sandy path to quiet, private beaches on the Gulf of Mexico. Providence offers unlimited opportunities to enjoy the sun, the sand and the water!

PROVIDENCE is a newly constructed 4 Bedroom, 4 Bathroom luxury house. Warm tile floors, quartz kitchen counter tops, elegant kitchen, new furniture, and floor to ceiling windows contribute to a warm, inviting Beach Chic look.

PROVIDENCE is a multi-functional home that sleeps 8, welcomes families looking for time together, couples seeking respite from their responsibilities, fishermen, golfers, anyone seeking time to unwind, sun to soak in, water to refresh and a beautiful tropical island experience to remember.

PROVIDENCE provides living space that combine utility and utopia.

The FAMILY ROOM is a large comfortable, peaceful place to read, watch the 65" FLAT SCREEN TV, visit, snooze or just sit and enjoy the beautiful views of the the natural beauty of the island property or the private pool and spa below.

The MASTER BEDROOM has a king bed, a large closet, and a luxurious large bathroom with a soaking tub, double sinks and shower. The East BEDROOM has a queen bed as well as a private balcony overlooking the property, and a private bathroom. The West BEDROOM has two twin beds with a bathroom with tub and shower just outside the bedroom. The Fourth BEDROOM has a Queen bed with a bathroom just outside the bedroom.

PROVIDENCE has a large SCREENED LANAI. Located off the main living level connected to the kitchen, family room and Master Bedroom. The screened lanai is furnished with a dining table for 8 and a sectional couch. The lanai overlooks the private pool and hot tub below as well as the lush grounds. Below the lanai is a large shaded area with chaises to enjoy the pool and hot tub while staying out of the sun.

There is a LARGE SUN DECK surrounding the OUTDOOR HEATED POOL and HOT TUB to relax and take in the warm sun.

We also supply 8 beach chairs as well as 8 chaises for lounging around the heated pool and hot tub.

Great location with access to both bay and beach. The house and property very clean and well taken care of. The pool and hot were a great amenity.. perfect for relaxing. The hosts were very accommodating and very friendly. 5 star location

Providence-Captiva is our go to beach vacation home. The hosts are wonderful and quick to respond to our questions. The house is spacious so you never feel on top of each other. The kitchen is top notch and equipped with everything you need. We all love the convenience of a private pool & spa.

We had such a wonderful experience staying at Captiva Providence! The house was top notch and had everything we needed. High end furnishings and probably the cleanest place we have ever stayed! The walk to the beach was super easy, and the cart with big inflatable wheels made it a breeze. The area of the beach we were at is not crowded at all. They were people several hundred feet away at any given time of day. So beautiful and peaceful! We had dolphins that came close to shore four different days while we were there (including during our family photos), beautiful sunsets, and gorgeous waters. Michael and Mary were so helpful and an absolute joy to meet. Wonderful hosts. I absolutely cannot wait to return!

We had a great time. The shelling on Bowman’s beach was fantastic. The pool and the hot tub were appreciated by all. The local restaurants are all excellent. The house was roomy and comfortable. A great vacation spot!

Beautiful house with a fantastic host. There were a few days of beach re-nourishment, which was interesting to experience first-hand. The shelling was limited compared to last time, but it made for a nice, powdery beach, so equally nice. The pool and hot tub were fantastic!!

The host and hostess were amazing. Very prompt with answering our questions. The house was beautiful, clean and very spacious. Spent lots of time in the pool and hot tub. Pool was heated which was great for the grandkids. Nice beach chairs and chair cart for the beach! A truely wonderful stay.

We enjoyed a great family vacation week!! Very clean, comfortable, property. Perfect pool and gulf swimming and wonderful sunsets! Ate at several Captiva restaurants -Sunset Seafood Cafe -was terrific! Just bring bug spray!

Great place to vacation!

The property was just as advertised. Everything was clean and welcoming. We loved the pool and hot tub. And it was very easy to walk to the beach. We highly recommend it!

A Week in Paradise!

Once again we had a delightful visit! The home is beautiful and everything we needed for a great visit was readily available. We’ll definitely go back next year, and may stay for two weeks!

Great house with everything you would need. Location amazing with easy access to beach and bay. We had an excellent week. Bonus was watching eagles while in the hot tub!

Remote learning getaway

Fantastic property with all the convenience of home. Great location, great fishing and a wonderful host in Michael and his lovely family. We hope to return to Captiva and we would definitely stay here again!

Family winter escape

Was great to have beach chairs, bikes, kayaks and big table on screened patio for family meals. Lots of fish caught on pier short walk to beach. Great host beautiful property.

We have owned Providence since 2004. We visited Providence when we could and rented it out to families when we couldn't. We moved to live here full time in 2016 and constructed a new 4BR/4BA home on our 2 acre estate that was completed in 2019. We now offer this brand new home for rent to families and friends looking for a comfortable and well appointed place to relax and enjoy all that Captiva Island has to offer.

We think Providence is an exceptional home, with the finest construction products and beautifully and comfortably furnished. We rented vacation homes on Captiva for over a decade and know what is important to offer visitors.
Providence is in perfect shape and impeccably maintained. We have no rugs for sand to hide in and moisture to be trapped.
Our location provides privacy as well as access to a quiet beach and access to the channel on the other side of the property via a dock for guest use.
