Family friendly condo complex.
Unit #12 is on the third floor level of the South building and sleeps 4-6. Beautiful water & sunset views! It has been partially updated. offering 2 bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has a set of bunk beds. Twin on top & full on bottom. The living room/dining combo has beautiful water views & a queen sleeper sofa. The unit has 2 bathrooms - 1/2 bath & a bathroom with shower. A sandy beach is right across the (residential street), Sunset views over Grand Traverse Bay and use of the heated in-ground pool and on site coin operated laundry area.
Half way between Traverse City and Charlevoix. Elk Rapids is a very quaint harbor town that you will fall in love with! All of these condo units are strictly NO SMOKING - NO PETS.
We require our renters to be 25 years of age or older.

Another Great Stay

My family and I love staying at Elk Rapids Beach Condominiums. This particular unit has 2 bedrooms which is a big plus. Clean, easy to access. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent spot

This was exactly what we needed for our long weekend up north! A beautiful spot with gorgeous views, beach access and even though the weather wasn’t perfect, the pool was open and heated and we were able to enjoy! The condo has great amenities and the location is perfect - a short walk to Shorts, a quick drive to TC. We’d love to be back!

Nice getaway

Condo was clean, nicely furnished and a very walkable distance to anything we wanted to do in Elk Rapids. Nice beach right in front (across a street) and a pool too. Great views from the living room area, and a table and chairs outside too to sit and enjoy the views.

Nice Stay

The pictures accurately depict the property. It has a nice sandy beach right across the street. (The street is not busy.) It is right across US 31 from Short's Pull Barn and main brewery. The property was clean and well kept. We would stay here again.

Great view

Our family of four (kids ages 8 & 5) had a great time. The layout of the property is very odd and only worked fine for us because the kids are so young. I would not feel comfortable with anyone besides my immediate family — the only access to the bedroom is through two bathrooms. Aside from that, the place was well stocked, nicely redone with great looking finishes, super clean and with a view that made walking up the 3 flights of stairs worth it. We would definitely stay again.

Family Trip

Very nice location. We were able to walk downtown and to the beach. Our kids really enjoyed the pool. Neighbors were all super nice. Our only complaint was regarding the beds. They were not comfortable. An actual bed in the 2nd bedroom would be nice.

This was by far the cleanest property we have ever stayed in. Great location with easy access to several destination towns. Would highly recommend !

Beautiful views, great location, recently renovated

First time in Elk Rapids, and the location was superb. Just off 31 on a quiet sidestreet great for biking and walking, and a nice healthy mile or so walk to town. Across from the beach - can easily walk kayaks across. Third floor provided great views, and enjoyed the exercise of the stairs (property renter called to make sure we were OK with stairs - no elevators!). Recently renovated with new paint, new floors, new furniture. However, another 'surprise' renovation is that the listed large bathroom with jetted tub & walk-in shower is now two 1/2 baths with one walk-in shower - no jetted tub, which was a bit disappointing, as the pool had closed for the season. They also added WiFi recently, which was a pleasant surprise (listing on VRBO says NO WiFi - needs to be updated!) Would definitely stay again, but please update VRBO!

Great quality at a resonable price

The unit was very clean and functional. The unit has been recently updated and that definitely can be felt. It is right across Grand Traverse bay and the beach across the street was great and mostly empty, we almost felt like we had a private beach. The pool was also nice. The neighbors were very nice and friendly. If you are a light sleeper please be aware that there's road noise that you can hear in the bedroom, which since bothered me. My wife and kids on the other hand slept right through it without any problem. Overall a great value for the money. I recommend it.

Perfect place!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay. Our view was perfect and we were treated to an amazing sunset the 1st night. The condo is not fancy by any means but it was clean. We did not mind the covered steps up to the 3rd floor. We didn't have time to use the pool but it looked lovely. Great little beach section right across the street. Overall a wonderful place to stay!

We love the place and location

Condo location is wonderful, you can stay there or move easily to other towns and beaches. The small beach in front is quiet and “private”. The place is clean and all the stuff the owners provides is there. from there to other cities and beaches.

We had an amazing time in the lake and pool. Double pull out couch a little small for 2 teenage boys to share but we made it work. Beautiful view-miss it already!
