Great house for a large multi-family vacation. Stayed over LDW with 4 families (8 adults and 7 kids ranging from 6 months to 6 years). Tons of rooming options with very comfortable beds. Well stocked kitchen. Huge outdoor kitchen and eating space. Lots of things to do both inside and outside - pool, playground, lawn, swings, gaming tables, etc. We didn't leave the house all weekend! It was definitely pricey but this feels luxury and high end. If you want a top notch place for a multi-family gathering, this is a great find!

We had such a great stay! One of the most beautiful properties, and the highlight was the outdoor area. Would definitely recommend to friends! The hosts were also very quick and easy to talk to. They even got us a nice card and bottle of wine! Thanks so much to the whole team for your hospitality

What a beautiful property! It was perfect to host our family gathering to celebrate my 88 year old mother and our grandson turning 6 on July 4. The house is well appointed and had everything we needed. Mgmnt was responsive to our requests. We loved the wild life visiting the property! The pool was perfect with a shallow end with umbrellas and boulders for the kids to jump off of. Loved that the pool was gated and could be locked for safety.

The home was everything we could ask for to hold a friend reunion for the weekend. The home was clean and well equipped with everything we needed to cook meals. There was plenty of space for group time together and also for a little privacy when needed. The outdoor space was perfect with beautiful views of the lake complete with wildlife. We enjoyed grilling in the outdoor kitchen, playing lawn games, and hanging out by the pool.Chris was very communicative and our arrival was very easy. I would not hesitate to come back to the home on Swan Lake in the future.

Swan Lake house had plenty of room for our family vacation of 13 people. Kitchen was well set up to cook for a large group, two sinks, two ovens, two refrigerators, and two dishwashers. We were able to seat 12 at the table next to the kitchen, even though there was the dining room. Outdoor kitchen had a nice Blaze bbq, and a large table to eat at, that was covered. You could cook at the outdoor kitchen and oversee the pool area. Pool and spa was nice, with a shallow area for small kids. Spa heated up after a while, which was very relaxing. Backyard pond was nice the have, with some small fish in it for kids to fish for. We did see some deer in the backyard. Owner and management team were very responsive and quick to answer any questions. Not too far from the highway, but far enough away to make it a peaceful retreat. All the kids enjoyed the house and pool.

Family Summer Gathering

Kids and grandkids from around country got together at this beautiful property. We enjoyed the pool, large kitchen, walking the grounds, checking out the large garden and the chickens. Really enjoyed having dinners at the very large table in the pool house.

Great property and huge house

This was the perfect property for our group of 14 friends. The pool was necessary during the heatwave and the huge covered outdoor kitchen and dining space were great. There were enough beds for everyone. We also got to check out mama pig and her piglets.

Our family of 15--9 adults, 6 kids (ages 2-10)--had a spectacular week at what we dubbed "the mansion." Every detail was attended to. The house was clean with many nooks & crannies and options for sleeping arrangements. The oversized, open-concept kitchen kept everyone engaged and happily preparing meals together. (We def needed the two full-sized refrigerators!) The entire fam fit around the dining room table--although, in a few years, the littles might be too big to squish together on the bench! But outdoor tables and seating areas, including the BBQ area, were ample for the whole crew at breakfast and some dinners. And I can't omit the pleasure of coffee on the balcony off the primary bedroom as the sun came up. Communication with our hosts was excellent. (Thanks for the welcome gift!) And last, but def not least: The Pool. We chose this VRBO location specifically for the GATED pool area and felt totally secure all week w the safety of our young ones. We never went on any of the day excursions we'd considered, preferring instead to lounge, frolic, and swim together. Totally glorious! There is so much in this house--books for all ages, workout equipment, pool table, games, puzzles, toys, and more--that we never were able to enjoy all of it! If you're planning a family gathering, you can't go wrong with this gem.

Amazing Property & Rental Experience

We had a wonderful weekend at the Swan Lake Mansion. The grounds are incredible with the pool, covered picnic area, fire pits, swing set, trampoline and of course the farm animals! The house is also very large, luxurious, well stocked, and exceptionally clean. It worked perfectly for our party of 16. The owners/management were extremely prepared and responsive throughout the weekend. Check-in and out was easy. I highly recommend the Swan Lake Mansion!

I just wanted to take a moment to share our incredible experience at the place we stayed! It was truly beyond amazing. From the stunning pool to the fantastic patio BBQ area and the fun game room, everything was perfect. The property itself is massive, complete with a lake and a garden. The owners even allowed us to pick our own veggies, which the kids absolutely loved! The only minor issue we encountered were some spiders, but given the size of the estate, it wasn’t a huge concern. Chris was fantastic, always easily accessible whenever we needed to reach out, and had quick turnaround times when we left voicemails or text messages. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great getaway!

great property beautiful setting there few a few issues Hot water to the right side of the house took forever to get hot not that much of a issue for us but for multiple familys that would be a problem and in our opinion some of the kitchen items need ti be replace looking very old and used plus the oven need a good cleaning and lastly the game room area Treadmill did not work and the the videos games buck game did not work i know this sounds like a lot of griping but it more of a suggestion those were our issue but the property is so beautiful just a few things in our opinion need replaced or upgraded

Thank you for your feedback and kind words about the property! We really appreciate your suggestions. Following your comments, we replaced the pots and pans with a new set and had the oven deep cleaned. The treadmill does work — it just needs the switch turned to the ON position (we’ll note that in the house instructions). The Buck Hunter game is also new and fully functional — the guns are used to select and control the games. As for the hot water, the estate’s size means it can take a bit longer to reach the south wing, but we’re working on a solution to shorten the wait. All the best — we hope to welcome you back soon!

Wonderful Place for a Group Stay

This house at Shingle Springs is a wonderful place to get away. The rental was very well thought out and had all the possible needs you could have as a guest. The house was very comfortable and well decorated. The outdoor space was fantastic for relaxing outside. The pool, outdoor kitchen, and lake were the highlights for us. The bedrooms were all comfortable and clean. All in all this place is wonderful. We definitely would stay here again!

Perfect for Large Family Gathering

We had four households of extended family, 16 people in total, looking to gather for the holidays and this home worked perfectly, we loved our stay. The the large kitchen and dining areas were well stocked and perfect for cooking and eating together, the large living room and game room were ideal for hanging out and playing together, and yet everyone had beds and private space with the ideal bedroom/bathroom configuration. Because it was winter we didn't use the outdoors as much as we normally would have, but the fire pit, hot tub and outdoor kitchen were all enjoyed, and the property is great for walks, enjoying views of the lake and feeding the animals.

After 500 trips to Home Depot and bringing our first child home there with no kitchen sink, we have learned a few things. Our kids have unconventionally grown up to see beauty where it is not obvious, finish hard projects and invest in people from all walks of life.

We specialize in creating breathtaking properties for the most discretionary clients, executive groups, and high profile events. But we have also learned a secret. Everyone really wants to feel like they are at “home” with all the creature comforts, amenities and the very place to make memories and connect with friends, clients and loved ones. That is our goal.
