Northern Michigan rental cabins offer the best of both worlds -- situated on 16 wooded acres with 1,000 feet of private AuSable River frontage, and located on a bustling stretch of M-72, within easy walking distance to downtown Grayling, and local shops, restaurants and breweries.

Easy access to fishing, hiking, snowmobile trailheads, cross-country ski trails, snowshoeing, Hanson Hills fat-tire bike and mountain bike trails and downhill skiing. One door down from Northbound Outfitters and Cross-Country Ski Shop with cross-country ski, bike and kayak rentals. Close to state and federal hunting land and ATV trails.

Finley's Riverside Cabins have been completely rehabbed and remodeled, with modern amenities and up-north charm. Unit #1 is an attached duplex with a great room with two full beds, kitchenette, dining for four, and bathroom. Free WiFi included and Antena TV available.

Get away, get in the middle of the action, or use the cabins as a jumping off point for adventure. Northern Michigan is your playground.

Great for Weekend Get-Away!

We took our kids up to Grayling to enjoy the snow and this cabin did not disappoint. It had everything we needed to make the trip enjoyable, clean, and cozy! We will be back next year!

Great Place

Short weekend stay to fish/canoe local rivers. Great location, and had everything necessary to make it a great weekend. Owners very communicative and accommodating. Also, nicely located on one of the rivers of interest. Definitely added to top of list for places to stay when returning to this area!

Nice Getaway

Was able to do some hiking and fishing and nice river setting. Brenda left some banana bread in the cabin and we had banana bread and tea at night..

Wonderful Place!

This was a fantastic place to stay. The owners are very friendly and we felt welcome. The cabin was very clean with great beds and I really appreciated special thoughtful touches that were added. For example, great hooks in convenient places both inside and outside the cabin, nice and easy to access cords with multiple plug ins at bedside, and super-practical under-the-bed wheeled baskets. It didn’t feel like the little extras were part of a business plan, but instead that they were there because the owners truly cared. Though there is some noise from the busy highway, it was a great location with very close and easy access to town, and the grounds are truly beautiful, again with many thoughtful places to sit and relax throughout. Also provides incredible, private access to the Au Sable and all that comes with that opportunity. Highly recommend and hope to return!

Total pleasure

Wonderful. From the fresh-baked bread in my clean and pleasant room on arrival, to conversation with the owners and fishing on a varied and extensive Au Sable frontage. Woods with trails and plenty of wildlife!! My dog loved every minute of it, and relished all the smells and birds to stalk. Will definitely return.

Cozy Cabin

We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin. The hosts were very helpful throughout our stay. The cabin is comfortable and clean. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware. We traveled to Grayling to cross country ski at Hanson Hills. The location is great. Hanson Hills is only 1.5 miles from the cabin.

Great location, nice amenities, friendly property managers.

Generally a great place to stay - the only complaint was the cabin smelled as though people had been smoking in it despite the "no smoking" listing.

Perfect Getaway on the River

We booked this property very last minute due to the projected snowstorm. Brenda and Phil were quick to accept our reservation and provide information about check-in, accommodations, ect. We called upon arrival and met the owners who left special touches to make us feel at home. The rental is clean, well-appropriated, and most importantly, warm. This rental is close to town, great spot for fishing, perfect for a weekend away! We had a great time- thanks so much!

Excellent Place in Grayling - Feels like you're out of town, but town is just a short walk

We loved Finley's cabins. They are super clean and well equipped. They are duplex units but there is a mechanical room between the rooms so we never heard our neighbours. The owner even leaves a loaf of home made banana bread and a welcome card! The hosts are super friendly but give you lots of space. There are beautiful trails through the forest and along the river to walk your dog. The Au Sable is a great stream for Trout Fishing, crystal clear and always cool no matter the weather. The host mows trails along the river and has placed seating areas with picnic tables along the bank that are well spaced out so you can have a picnic to the sounds of the river and birds. There is a large fire pit near the river with tons of firewood available. We walked to town and restaurants almost every day. If you figure out the walking shortcut through the abandoned warehouse, town is only 1 km ( just over 1/2 mile ) away. We would definitely stay here again!

Simple and clean

The cabin was clean and neat. It was a simple and basic one room cabin with 2 beds, a kitchen table, a small kitchen, and a bathroom. Everything was clean and neat.

Perfect Little Getaway
