From start to finish, the experience was wonderful. Erik and Jodi did a wonderful job communicating with me, giving me a heads up about interesting activities to do in the area and having a everything setup for our stay. The house has so many small amenities that really make the stay more enjoyable, and it is very clear that Erik and Jodi put a lot of thought into every detail. Would stay again if I'm back in the area. Thanks so much,-Pete

This was a fantastic place for a family reunion! We spent much of our time in the backyard, where there was plenty of seating and shade. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to cook meals. Our host answered all our questions promptly. Accommodations were terrific! The only drawback was sleeping accommodations... all beds were either twin or double beds, and there were multiple beds in each bedroom. Works well for families but lacks some privacy if guests are uncomfortable sharing a room. All in all, it was a great weekend, and our family is looking forward to returning here for our next reunion!

Amazing place for groups and larger families

This space was amazing for our group size and was a great staging area for our activities in Winona. There was plenty of space for our group to spread out, but reconvene as a large group at the end of our daily activities. A great space to cook and share time together.

Acerca del anfitrión

Anfitrión: Erik and Jodi Brom

Foto de perfil del anfitrión
The owners of Goodview Haven, Erik and Jodi Brom both grew up in Goodview. Goodview Haven was Erik's childhood home, and Jodi grew up just a mile away. We live just a few blocks away on another piece of the original farm on which Goodview Haven is located. We are excited to make Goodview Haven available for your enjoyment.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

Designed and built by Erik's parents from 1946 through 1957, it is in the Frank LLoyd Wright Usonian style. We remodeled the house and decorated the house staying with the mid-century style. The surrounding woods have the oldest trees in Goodview which provide a home for many kinds of birds.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

Although it is located in town, on a busy street, it is on nearly an acre of wooded land. Both the interior and the back yard are very peaceful. It is a very flexible space perfect for a variety of events.
