Renovated Mid-Century Modern House

Goodview Haven is Winona’s newest and most flexible venue for small group retreats. Goodview Haven is a renovated retreat house in Goodview, just 3 miles from downtown Winona.
The home can be rented overnight or for daytime events. The Haven sleeps 15 in twin and double beds, and features a Great Room, large outdoor space and a complete technology setup for easy hookups and really high speed internet. Rent the house for your next business retreat or working getaway, or grab the girlfriends for a weekend spent scrap booking or quilting (be sure to check out our Amenities page for all the unique features of the home that cater to technology and crafting needs!). Our fully outfitted kitchen allows guests to make their own food or work with a caterer to feed a crowd.

For daytime gatherings, we can accommodate up to 60 guests in our versatile indoor gathering spaces and spacious outdoor patio on a 1-acre wooded lot.

Goodview Haven is a very flexible venue. Please contact us with any questions regarding your stay and/or event. It's hard to show the exact availability with the online calendar. Please contact us even if it looks like we are booked at the time you are interested in. We may be able to accommodate you!

For your security, you will be provided with a unique entry code. This works only during your rental period. Previous and future guests will not be able to enter during your rental.

What an awesome house! We spent 4 days at the property and couldn't be happier. We had a group of 10 women. There were beds for everyone and the 3 bathrooms made it easy for us to get ready each day. The house was clean and very well stocked with everything we needed. We were also amazed by the back yard. It was beautiful and we spent a lot of time enjoying it. Thank you for letting us spend some time at Goodview Haven!

Happiness at Goodview Haven

Our stay at Goodview Haven impressed us more than our preconceived thoughts could imagine. We loved being at the Haven and it served as a great hub for us as a family to venture out and enjoy the good stuff in the Winona/Goodview area.

Great stay

A clean, comfortable, interesting, house stocked with every possible necessity for a homey stay. Six older friends enjoyed our time here. (All one level makes it especially convenient for those challenged by steps).The back yard landscaping is beautiful and restful.

A wonderful group-getaway house

My family (8 adults) stayed here for one evening and we loved it. Very spacious with a gorgeous backyard. A perfect space for all of us to relax and enjoy the company. Definitely recommend!

Accommodating, charming, and cozy

This was an excellent place for me and all my friends to stay. Loved the crafts and everything about Goodview Haven was charming. Jodi was also very kind. You can't go wrong with a stay here.

Clean, pretty, lots of space

We had a great stay in Goodview! Everything we needed for an overnight retreat was there, including cooking tools for a meal for 10 people. The extras were great too... gift bags on the bed, outdoor space and comfortable seating for everyone.

Excellent Meeting Space

This was perfect for a work centered getaway, my insurance agency meet here for a meeting and retreat. Was perfect and roomy, we were not falling over each other and the great room was exactly what we needed to meet, accomplish some work, and relax and have fun!

Great Times

Golf outing

For the past four years we have used this house as our base for our annual golf outing. The house is perfect for eight guys to have space yet also gather in the beautiful back yard. Very convenient to all types of stores. Owner is just wonderful. Would not go anywhere else.

Absolutely Perfect!

The house was a perfect fit for our group. It was clean and comfortable and provided everything we needed to have a very productive meeting and wonderful social time together. The outdoor area was amazing! Not what you would expect to find "in town". The bedrooms and decor were so cozy and fun. We will most definitely be back!

Winona stay

The house was amazing! There were blankets and extra pillows everywhere. The patio was wonderful so it was great to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful day we had. Everything was so clean and super cute. We loved every minute of the weekend.

Rest & Relaxation Defined

Outstanding property,well kept up all the necessities one would want. Wonderful backyard for relaxing in and enjoying with friends. Property owner is excellent, provided any help we needed and promptly answered any questions I had. Great for a family gathering or a group of friends to get together.

Great place to scrapbook with friends!

Just spent three nights in this wonderful home, full of nostalgia and history. We enjoyed the space, the decor, the work room with big tables and lighting. We cannot wait to come back and enjoy some more days in your home, we didn't want to leave. Thank you for sharing g it with us! Ps. The owners of Goodview Haven, Erik and Jodi Brom both grew up in Goodview. Goodview Haven was Erik's childhood home, and Jodi grew up just a mile away. We live just a few blocks away on another piece of the original farm on which Goodview Haven is located. We are excited to make Goodview Haven available for your enjoyment.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

Designed and built by Erik's parents from 1946 through 1957, it is in the Frank LLoyd Wright Usonian style. We remodeled the house and decorated the house staying with the mid-century style. The surrounding woods have the oldest trees in Goodview which provide a home for many kinds of birds.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

Although it is located in town, on a busy street, it is on nearly an acre of wooded land. Both the interior and the back yard are very peaceful. It is a very flexible space perfect for a variety of events.
