This house was a really lovely quiet retreat. Everything worked, there was ample space and while the view was mostly fog in August, it was still lovely and relaxing. Something to note is that this house is nowhere near any kind of store or restaurant. The closest thing is 15 to 20 minutes away. But that’s part of its charm.

This home was perfect for our trip. Spacious and comfortable for everyone and very functional. Beautiful views! Only downside was the lack of outdoor space - wished there was a larger/better equipped deck area off the main floor to enjoy the views even more.

Area rugs definitely need cleaning and several areas need touch up paint. Ant problem in kitchen and more cooking utensils would be helpful. Physical layout excellent and ocean view magnificent. Playroom for kids is great but extremely dirty. Listing house having 3 bathrooms is a misrepresentation. Third bathroom is really a half bath with small utility shower in the laundry room.

Thank you for your feedback. While we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, we do not agree with the 3-star rating or several of the statements in your review. During your seven-night stay, you did not contact us with any concerns regarding ants, cleanliness, the kitchen, or any other issues. We first learned about the ants and your comments regarding the area rugs after you had checked out, which unfortunately gave us no opportunity to investigate or address the concerns during your stay. As part of our regular maintenance program, the exterior perimeter of the home is professionally treated for insects, including ants, every other week. While occasional ants can appear in coastal areas, they are often attracted by food left out overnight. We also did not observe the area rugs or the children's loft to be in the condition described until after your departure. As a popular vacation rental that accommodates up to six adults and two children, the home experiences regular guest traffic, and we inspect and clean it between every stay. We respectfully disagree with your comments regarding the kitchen, as it is fully stocked and we have not previously received complaints about the cookware or utensils. Regarding the bathrooms, the home is accurately advertised as having three bathrooms, including the third bathroom located off the laundry room, which includes a toilet and shower. We are pleased that you enjoyed the home's layout and the beautiful views.

We had the most wonderful stay! This was the perfect getaway with young kids. They absolutely loved the playroom and were beyond thrilled with the four kid bunk room, which felt like a total adventure for them.The kitchen was incredibly well stocked, making it easy to cook and feel at home. The views were truly stunning and such a special backdrop for a relaxing family trip.We would love to return and highly recommend this place to other families looking for an easy, beautiful escape.

Beautiful home in a great location! Spectacular ocean view. Bluff hike just up the street was gorgeous! It was really nice having multiple spaces for individual activities. Our multi-generational family had a great and comfortable stay and hope to be back!

Beautiful property, beautifully maintained, and well stocked with just about all you need! Beautiful setting to celebrate my (now) fiancés 40th. The property and location are perfect for a long weekend (or longer stay). Definitely plan to visit again. Highly recommend.

The home, amenities, cleanliness, and comfortable made for a memorable weekend with family and friends. We had plenty of room for yoga in the mornings in the downstairs sitting area, the kitchen was well equipped for our cooking in, the bedrooms were comfortable for the 3 adult couples, and the bunk bed room was a perfect place for our little 7 yr girl with her dolls and books. We will certainly recommend the location and look forward to our next stay.

great stay

Large family had a great stay at this Dillon Beach house. Home is spacious, beautiful views and a great jumping off point for exploring Bodega Bay, Pt Reyes and just hanging out at Dillon Beach. Great spot! Excited to come back again.

Great location for family vacation

Plenty of room for our 9 guests including 3 grandchildren, 2 adult children and their spouses. The home was well stocked with all that we needed. We cooked in and found all the dishes and cooking items we needed. Home if very spacious so even though we spent a lot of time indoors we were not crowded. There was an upstairs loft area that the grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed. Views were amazing. We would stay here again.

Awesome Stay!

We loved this property; location, amenities, layout/design and furnishings were all superb. Communication with property owner was easy and helpful; they were very responsive. This house made a special trip with family even more special because of its spacious layout and beautiful views. We hope to return soon!

Wonderful

We had a wonderful family vacation at Dillon Beach. The house was comfortable and everyone had their own space. Kitchen was well equipped and the view was absolutely breathtaking.
