Beautiful location and views! Friendly, supportive hosts were kind and made a point of being available. The charming cottage had everything we needed. Highly recommended!

The accommodation were excellent. My wife and I are in our late seventies and still lead active lives at home, so the tranquil scenery and sound of the waves lapping the shore mesmerized us while we sat, read and talked quietly. The price was reasonable, and overall we shared a wonderful weekend.

We loved our stay here! It’s very cozy and the location and views can’t be beat! We enjoyed a campfire right by the lake under the moonlight and sitting out in the deck in the morning. The place had all we needed to cook for several people. We didn’t grill, but all the setups are there for that as well. This was a great location, allowing us to visit our kid at college nearby, and also give him a chance to have a peaceful break from campus. The owners are super friendly and great communicators.

We loved our stay at Twin Pines. The cottage was very cozy and well appointed. Ed and Dennis were very kind, welcoming and prompt to respond to any questions. The views of the lake are spectacular and we loved the location for hiking, visiting Ithaca and local eateries. But we really loved watching the sunrise from the porch and swimming in the lake. We had a wonderful week at Twin Pines.

Twin Pines is charming and homey and we had a very nice stay. The kitchen had absolutely everything we could have needed and plenty of linens, paper goods, cookware, utensils etc. for our stay. The area is so beautiful and being minutes from Taughannock State Park and Ithaca we had unlimited activities. Trumansburg is a beautiful little town with great dining and a walkable area with shops and coffee etc.Dennis and Ed were great hosts and we especially appreciated the fact that they have taken such care creating a space where we felt at home.

We had a perfect stay at Twin Pines. The only downside was not having enough time to just relax at the cabin, which was just as enjoyable as all of the nearby sites!

The view of the lake was the best, with beautiful sunrise, sunset & even a double rainbow one day! The cottage had everything we needed. The hosts were very accommodating, friendly and helpful.

This cottage is everything you need for a fun stay in Ithaca. The location is perfect - between state parks and town. The cottage is so cozy (I don’t mean small, just cozy). Owners were amazingly responsive and kind. Thanks for a fabulous anniversary weekend!

We had another great week at Twin Pines (five years running!) The house was clean and had everything we needed, the private beach and floating dock were perfect for our needs. We hope to come back next year!

Wonderful secluded retreat

At the end of a forested driveway, this secluded, warm, cozy cottage afforded us a beautiful, lakeside retreat to spend our evenings.

Another Amazing Stay!

Another amazing stay at Twin Pines! The kids had a blast swimming in the lake and playing on the floating dock! Everything was perfect!

Wonderful setting

The cabin is homey and inviting. The views of the lake are amazing, both on the deck and from inside. A wonderful place to get away and relax!

Great Get-Away Spot

Away from it all but close enough to go into Trumansburg or Ithaca. Great view of the Cayuga Lake, which we would have spent more time on if the weather had cooperated. Great base for exploring the regions multitude of waterfalls and hiking trails. Well equipped and comfy. Hosts were communicative and helpful.

Scenic Lake Cottage

We enjoyed our time at the cottage. Very homey, quiet and great views from the bedroom. We went in early May so the properties next to us were empty. Outside of Ithaca but 10 minutes to town. We took our small dog with us who loved the lake. We would love to go back there again.

Great location and great views

This property is well maintained and provided us with the perfect place for our annual trip to the Finger Lakes. We loved the proximity to sites like the Falls and Ithaca. The cottage has great views in every room! There is plenty of room for a family of 4 or 6 to spread out and relax! The lake are was private and had ample space. We would stay here again in the future!

Beautiful setting

The cottage is full of personality and charm with lovely views of the lake. The location was perfect for our touring around the Finger Lakes and for quiet mornings and relaxing evenings. You need a vehicle that can navigate a rocky driveway and legs that can handle lots of steps.
