The pictures don't do this house justice! It was spacious, open, and had the best back porch. We spent most of our time out there while we were at the house. It was also so easy to get to the beach and go for a run down to Cape Henlopen State Park. Would absolutely recommend this to any group. Thank you for such a good stay!

Our whole family totally enjoyed our stay at the Lewes and Clark beach house! We loved the screened patio which allowed us to enjoy the ocean breezes while protected by the screened windows. The bedding arrangement was a perfect match for my family and we were pleasantly surprised by all the utensils and beach chairs and toys that we were free to use. The house was spotless upon arrival so it was our goal to leave that way for the next guests. The only possible downside was the lack of TV sets which was a bit of a problem with 4 grandchildren looking for some entertainment. But that was only a minor issue and did not detract from our stay too much.

This house was exactly as advertised - clean, comfortable, and well supplied. The screened porches were a highlight. A bonus was that my kids loved looking for crabs in the jetty near the beach on low tide, as well as walking along the sandbar. Would definitely stay again!

Great week with the family. House is perfect for us to gather in; lots of room to spread out and everything we needed for our nightly cooking events. Kids love that they can walk to the beach any time of the day. This was our second year staying here and look forward to coming back.

The Beach Trip That Keeps Getting Bigger!

We had a wonderful stay at this property!We had previously rented from a local real estate office, but we could not find a property through them that would meet the needs of growing extended family joining for our annual beach trip. I was a little nervous to book outside the real estate companies, but it turned out to be the best choice! The property is spacious with thoughtfully laid out bedroom and bathroom arrangements. It came fully equipped with every possible item you could think of needing from pots and pans to beach chairs and everything in between! The location is very convenient to the beach and still a nice bike ride to Cape Henlopen and town. We had several kids in the group that thoroughly enjoyed the games, puzzles, and books that are in the house. The adults enjoyed some evening cocktails in the lovely enclosed porches. From morning to evening, from beach to kitchen, this house had it all. Highly recommend!

Great home with construction next door

Beautiful home with close proximity to the beach but we weren't warned of the major construction/demolition taking place next door. Noise started at 7:05am Monday with the entire house shaking. This problem continued for three days straight. Trying to sit on the porches was like being in the middle of the construction (and the porches are awesome). We paid full price and I think in light of this big vacation distraction, we should have received a discount. I asked the owner how can we make things right and was given the run around about how they didn’t know this was happening. It was very clear the construction began long before we arrived.The photos should be updated online to show what is happening. it is not worth paying this amount of money while major construction is going on right on top of this home.

Industry Pals

We're a group of 8 women, ranging in age from 62-82, from throughout the US. We have varying degrees of mobility, so the option of first floor sleeping and bathing was awesome. This house was absolutely perfect for us - plenty of space, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable furnishings throughout. We shopped and dined in charming Lewes during the day, then enjoyed wonderful dinners around the large dining table in the evening. Short (1/2 block) walk to the Delaware Bay Beach, too!

Great home close to the beach!

Thank you for sharing your home with us, the open concept kitchen, family and dining room was great for visiting and we loved the indoor outdoor flow with the screened porch. The one block walk to the beach was an easy walk for our whole family. We look forward to returning!

Lewes and Clark beach house was just perfect!

We were in town for a long weekend for my niece’s wedding. The property was perfect for our group of 7 adults and 4 teenagers. The location to downtown Lewes and the beach was awesome. Mina was a gracious and friendly host!

Large and Convenient Property for families

Mina was wonderful about communicating with us to ensure we knew the ins and outs of getting into the House. There were three families in the beach house and it worked perfectly as there are multiple beds in some rooms. Having numerous bathrooms helped us get to our son's rehearsal dinner and wedding on time! Loved being able to run across to the beach just whenever! Thank you for all the amenities kept in the garage as well- there were toys for adults and kids! Michelle and Mike Figueroa

Great Stay in Lewes

This house is beautiful, spacious, and super close to the beach (just across one street). We had a big group with little kids and we loved that each family had space to spread out. We cooked every night and the kitchen had everything we needed. We spent most evenings/mornings on the beautiful back screened-in porch. Mina was super responsive and great to work with. We hope to come back one day!

Amazing House and Location

The property was large and had anything you could ever need for a relaxing beach trip. From beach chairs to crab pots to kayaks, everything was there. The host was incredibly responsive and the house was in incredible condition.

Perfect for multi-generational family

We booked this house to celebrate my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. Our group ranged in age from 3 - 80, and it was a perfect fit for every member of our party. The selection on games, books, and beach/active gear had something for everyone. We especially loved the screened in porch and the outdoor shower, which made transitioning between inside/outside seamless. Speaking of which, it honestly could not be any easier to get to the beach. My elderly father has health problems and we were worried about his ability to get to the beach, but OMG it was so close and easy! There's just the slightest sand dune, and then you're right there! The beach was mostly calm and semi-private most days/times, except for Saturday afternoon when it was packed and people parked even parked their cars in front of the house (but it was Labor Day weekend and it was a perfect beach day.) The owners were also very communicative and fast to respond to all questions, which was awesome.

Lewes Clark Beach House Stay 2024

Simply tremendous! House had everything we could have wanted and was in the best condition of any beach rental we have ever had. Property owners Mina and Greg were outstanding from before and throughout our stay. Bay was especially perfect for our grandchildren and just one block from the house. All 3 generations had a great vacation!

Another great stay in Lewes!

The perfect spot for our party of grandparents, parents, and kids. Enough room for everyone to have space as well as great common space for dinners and hangouts. Mina and Greg are wonderful hosts and we can’t wait to return.

Amazing week with family

This home is beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable. We had 6 adults and 2 children (9y and 12y). We appreciated that we could fit 3 cars in the driveway - it was a little tight but worked. The walk to the beach was short and safe. The garage has lots of things to take to the beach including chairs that we used. The kitchen had plenty of counter space, a large pantry and 2 refrigerators. Plenty of pots and pans, dishes and utensils. The can opener did not work well- but that is really the only negative feedback I can share! We all slept great, enjoyed the table we could all eat at together and had fun with the games (UNO and Scategories) that they had. We did need to use the local Emergency room for a little visit, and it was less than 10 minutes away. We were close to lots of fun things to do including mini-golf, brewery tours, and a trip to the Rehobeth boardwalk. We rented bikes and really enjoyed the trails at Henlopen State Park. The kids and adults alike enjoyed the screened in porches- especially the upper story one with the hammock. The owners have a beautiful home and have done a great job organizing and labeling to ensure a smooth visit. This was one of our favorite places we have stayed with our family! Thank you!!

Great Week!

The house accommodated our large group quite well. Plenty of room inside and out and a very short walk to the beach. No need to pack up the car and try to find a parking spot for a day on the sand. The garage was full of beach paraphernalia, bicycles, and other perks. Kitchen is very well stocked with cooking needs and the second refrigerator was a real advantage. Great communication with the owners! Will be making a return visit.

Beautiful Stay

The Lewes and Clark house was absolutely wonderful! I was blown away with the all the comforts and amenities provided. The house was in a great location for riding bikes, walking to the beach, and sitting on the back porch and enjoying a cup of morning coffee. =)
