This house is the perfect home away from home to return to after a fun filled day in San Diego. Just steps to Broadway, our nearest cross street, and 1 mile east of all the action and nightlife of Downtown makes this an ideal location just far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet at home and still be anywhere in Downtown within minutes!

Large size fully equipped kitchen provides all the amenities needed for making your own home cooked meals. Nice Living room with cable TV, 2 futon sleeper sofas for additional guests, Master Bedroom with King size bed, walk in closet and attached bathroom provides privacy while the additional sleeping options in the living room are great for families or friends traveling together; an additional guest bathroom is just off the kitchen / reading nook. This home sleeps up to 4 people and is 1,000 sq ft. Enjoy the newly renovated front and backyard Common Areas and outdoor kitchen with built in BBQ with gas fire pit and NEW Jacuzzi that all guests are welcome to share on this 6 unit property. Parking priviledges in the driveway of 1 parking spot is reserved for this unit.

Within just a few blocks you have your choice of a plethora of delicious local eateries, plus so many wonderful choices in nearby downtown.
Located in the heart of the historic, unique and beautiful neighborhood of Golden Hill, only 2 miles away you can take in one of the many museums or the botanical garden during a pleasant walk through beautiful Balboa Park where you'll hear live music and see street performers as you wander from one site to another. Riding home on the Bus drops you off just a couple of blocks from the home or use Uber or Lyft to get around for about half the price of a taxi. Want to see a spectacular view of San Diego Bay? Visit the Star of India, Midway Museum and Seaport Village, all within 1.5 - 3 miles. You can also hop on the ferry and cross the bay to Coronado for a day on the island. Golden Hill has easy access to all the major San Diego highways, making a trip to most San Diego beaches just 10-20 minutes away. Sit back on the couch and enjoy the flat screen TV with HDTV or hop on the internet with our fast free recently upgraded WiFi. Did your clothes get sandy at the beach? We have Free on site laundry, please shake sand out of clothes before washing to preserve the life of the machines. Each room is decorated with all the comforts of home in mind. Sheets, towels, and blankets are all provided as well as dish soap, toilet paper, kitchen sponge and paper towels. Traveling with your furry friend? We consider pets, please inquire first. :)

While our #1 priority is insuring that our valued guests enjoy their stay with us, we also have an equally as important commitment to our neighbors and our community. Below are the house rules that we must enforce. Please read them prior to confirming your reservation. If you are not comfortable with these rules, we encourage you to please make alternate accommodations:

• Minimum age of each guest 21 years unless accompanied by their parent / guardian if using instant book. (if under 21 please inquire first)
• No smoking is allowed at any of our properties
• Overnight occupancy is not to exceed the posted maximum occupancy. Occupancy is defined by the total number of people at the property at any time.

****NO PARTIES AT ANY TIME – a party is defined as any combination of the following; ANY loud noise and/or excessive drinking that is disruptive to neighboring houses and/or guests outnumbering the maximum amount permitted as defined above. A party will result in an immediate eviction from the property with no refund given under any circumstance. Any exceptions to this policy must be approved by Southern California Rentals in writing prior to the arrival date. Any City fines incurred for noise complaints will be charged to the guest (these can be $1,000.00 or more)

• Check-in is at or after 4PM | Check out is at 11am

Pets Considered at most properties, please inquire first rather than using instant book when bringing a pet. Pets must be screened for Breed, size and behavior and approved before a reservation is made. Pet fee between $94-195 applies and is determined by type of pet and length of stay. Any Guest who brings any pet onto the premises without prior permission will be charged the maximum pet fee. Please do not bring additional unpaid guests on property without prior written permission.

Vacation Rental Agreement will be emailed to you and your digital signature must be submitted before receiving access code for check in.

The Cleaning fee is charged to help cover the cost and time of Laundering bedding and towels which are provided clean for each guest. Professional cleaning of 8 man hours is also provided in this fee. Please empty your bagged trash into the outside black and blue (for recycling) cans. Please only dispose of bagged trash in cans, and wash and put away dishes before checkout.

For long term stays of 30 days or more, we require each adult occupant to pass a rental application that checks credit, and rent history. We reserve the right to refuse/cancel/alter your length of stay to 29 days or less if you or any adult in your reservation refuse or do not pass the rental application. The cost of application processing is $35 per applicant.

Short term guests are encouraged to get a PO Box as we do not accept mail at this property unless a rental application has been passed first. Packages from Amazon and other stores are not affected by this. Mail service request for long term guests must be received at least 30 days in advance in writing in order to allow time to turn on mail service for your unit.

*New Users who read and agree to abide by all house rules are welcome, Guests who have any negative reviews are subject to the approval of the owner and management team. We reserve the right to decline the reservation request of any guest who has negative reviews.

Convenient location but very thin walls
The property itself was great, and having access to the laundry facility was a plus. The only downside was the very thin walls of the unit. There was construction going on in the adjacent property which started at 7 am every morning and was just on the other side of the bedroom window, which did not allow us to sleep in while on vacation. You may want to confirm before booking to see if that is completed. Additionally, another unit in the complex had a small dog which barked incessantly and we could easily hear at night and early in the morning (we were gone during most of the daytime/evening hours). I'm not sure if that's a regular tenant or someone who was just doing a short term rental - but again, something to check on before booking. The property managers were great and provided a credit to our stay for the inconvenience. Aside from that - the place is very homey, the interior is well furnished and decorated and all of the needed supplies (kitchen, bath, etc.) were available. It might be better for someone who isn't as sensitive to noise as we are. Also - I appreciated them noting that the parking space was small. We were offered a complimentary upgrade for a larger vehicle at the rental car place, which we turned down and were happy we did as parking the Hyundai Santa Fe we rented was a tight fit!

Great VRBO experience
This was a great place for my husband and I to stay at. Very spacious for just 2. Huge closet and plenty of drawer space. Nice kitchen. 2 bathrooms with showers. Washer & dryer on site. Nice backyard with amenities to relax in. Nice, safe neighborhood. Bonus: private parking spot just for this unit. I highly recommend!

Great Time in SD
Centrally located with easy drive to all major tourist activities. Walk to local restaurants (Luigi’s). Dedicated parking spot and awesome backyard with jacuzzi. Sleeping arrangements worked for 2 adults (bdrm) and 2 12-yr old twins (futon and couch).

It was a great!
First of all, the place was a lot more spacious than expected. Loved the view of the city when we took our dog for a walk, the scenery was just beautiful. However we thought that we were going to have the back yard to ourselves but that was not the case at all because there were other rental home with people.

Perfect location for exploring San Diego
We really enjoyed our stay at this property in Golden Hill. The home was clean, had everything we needed (full kitchen, air conditioning, parking, laundry) and the location was amazing. This was our first visit to San Diego and every day when we'd decide what we wanted to do, we were surprised at how close we were to everything. The neighborhood is very quiet (I can't remember hearing noise at night once) and there are places to eat within walking distance -- we ended up having breakfast multiple days at a coffee shop that's just a couple blocks away. The king-size bed in the unit was very comfortable, and there were plenty of places to sit and relax between activities (we really enjoyed the patio in the backyard). Overall we are very happy we rented this unit and hope to rent it again on our next visit to San Diego.
