Welcome to our cozy and vintage 1969 Rocket Deluxe vacation rental, nestled in the heart of the desert of Twentynine Palms. If you're seeking a serene escape to nature, look no further. Our property offers multiple outdoor seating areas, where you can sit back, relax, and take in the majestic views of the Bullion Mountains and Joshua Tree National Park.

Step outside and rinse off in our refreshing outdoor shower with hot and cold water, or take advantage of our level 2 EV Charging station for your electric car. Our functional kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook up a delicious meal, which you can enjoy on the covered patio with outdoor dining area and propane BBQ.

At night, bask in the glow of the firepit under the star-filled sky. Our full-size bed will ensure a comfortable and restful night's sleep before another day of adventure. If you're an early riser, grab a cup of freshly brewed coffee and take in the stunning sunrise from one of our eastern vantage points.

Located in a rustic and secluded area, our Vintage Rocket Deluxe is only minutes away from Joshua Tree National Park, downtown Twentynine Palms, and the Twentynine Palms Marine Corp Base. Our property also features two other private units on 5 acres, which can be rented together to accommodate larger groups.

Great spot near JTNP

We really enjoyed our stay at the camper! It had everything we needed to relax and cook meals after exploring JTNP all day. Thank you for a great experience!

Funky. In need of maintenance

I am leavimg a rawly honest review. I loved the all cotton, high quality linens. The decor is cute. The kitchen is well stocked, the couch is comfy, as is the bed. An outdoor dining table on the spacious, covered patio, with good lighting. It is VERY private. Great EV plug! The driving directions were spot on. Less optimal: The last mile is a dirt road. There is a single electric burner in the kitchen. The refigerator is intermittently very loud, as are the air conditioning units, at all times. The double mattress overhangs into the passageway. I tired of the side shuffle past it to the bathroom. (I am not overweight.) It was cozy. For two, it would be tight, unless you are both slender. Sub-optimal: The outdoor shower faucets wouldn't budge. The indoor ones are stripped. I got them to work after a lot of trial and error. The bathroom smells of mildew. There is a lot of water damage to the bathroom floor. The toilet wobbles when sat upon. The wall air conditioner needs maintenenace. It is coated with visible internal dust,

Cozy place to crash

The silver streak was exactly what we were looking for. Cozy, safe and quiet with a lovely, private area to relax outside and enjoy the sunshine. It's a short drive to Joshua Tree National Park and both the towns of Joshua Tree and 29 Palms. The trailer is close quarters, so you better know your roommate well, but if you do, it's perfect. So much better than a hotel/motel.

Cozy stay in vintage trailer

We enjoyed our stay in this awesome vintage Silver Streak! The host was always available and provided a wealth of resources before and during our stay. The trailer was well stocked and provided a peaceful getaway and easy access for all of our hikes in JTNP.

Exactly what I needed

I trekked out to the desert for a much needed reset. My trip was amazing, made better by the beautiful environment and the "go-the-extra-mile" attitude of the reservation manager, Patricia. I will definitely be back to take advantage of the other units on the property, and hopefully I'll have friends with me.

Unique trailer in the desert off dirt road.

Compact living space with everything you need. Property is rustic but interesting... I took great photos at sunset. Shower is outdoors and private. Inside it's a bit cramped: double bed is small, 2 people would be cozy & may not work for a taller person. Path from Kitchen through bedroom to tiny bathroom is narrow, I had to turn sideways to walk thru. Dirt road was okay and the owner is very communicative. The Perfect Desert Getaway

I loved staying in the Silver Streak! The views are scenic and tremendous, the property is fun and has a great vibe, and the trailer itself is cozy, clean, and homey. I came out for a solo trip so was hiking during the day, but had a great time grilling and using the fire pit in the evenings and watching the sunrise and and exploring the property in the mornings. The out door shower was a refreshing, rejuvenating, and exhilarating. Would have stayed longer if I could have and will definitely be back in the future!

Exceeded all expectations

What an amazing vintage trailer on a fun desert property! It was so much fun to stay there. The trailer was clean, and well air conditioned, water was hot and flowed wonderfully, the bed was comfy, the outdoor shower was epic. I also loved the boat graveyard and the views and silence of the desert from the location. I would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful

We had a fab time out here in the desert. The Silver Streak was perfect and the bed was very comfortable which we appreciated. Great location close to the National park and only a short drive into town. We will come back for sure.

Cozy and fun!

Such a fun little airstream to stay in! They have all you need. The location feels remote but is close to town and stores. We didn’t get to relax outside or use the grill or hammock due to lots of rain, so we felt like we didn’t get the full charm of it all! We’ll just have to come back again. ;)

Cozy place with everything you need

Great place to stay at and relax. The quiet environment makes it easy to unwind while you sit and enjoy the scenery. The trailer has everything you need to have a great time. Definitely recommend and will be visiting again in the future.

Cute and Cozy

We loved our stay in the Silver Streak! The location was perfect. Far enough for quiet nights but still close to Joshua Tree and the local businesses. The outdoor area is great for morning coffee and relaxing nights. We will be back!
