This property is stunning. The location is convenient for touring Olympic National Park but it could be a destination itself given the beautiful waterfront setting. The home is warm and inviting. The decor is impeccable. We had a very short, but enjoyable stay at Duck Pond and would highly recommend.

The home was spectacular. Location was perfect. The house capitalized on beautiful views from every room. The outside patios were awesome. Amenities inside had everything you could need and in great condition. Would definitely come back and recommend to friends.

Beautiful property inside and out! Location is perfect with an idyllic PNW beach in about a 7 minute walk from the home. Port Angeles is an easy 15 minute drive. The home is comfortable and the kitchen well-stocked. Relaxing and wonderful spot. I’d stay in the home again for sure!

So much better than the photos! Amazing views, quiet location resident ducks, deer, and beavers. Close to Olympic National Park hiking and biking trails. April was responsive and clear. Looking forward to our next visit!

Beautiful Home Nice Location

A very nice home has everything you need for a nice stay. We enjoyed the location walked to the beach every day and loved the view from the house.

The property was probably the the best VRBO I have ever stayed in. Better in person than the pictures. Had everything. Cleanliness was excellent. Internet was just okay. Worked in the living room but spotty in the bedrooms but it is in a rural area.. So as far as the property you are not going to do much better. The issues I have are with the owner. It is her home so I get it to an extent and I followed her rules. The rules: No shoes in the home, threats on how you carry your suitcase up her new stairs, warnings everywhere for common sense like a towel rack is not a lean post, you had to double gate the home with a chain and a gate upon entry and exit, there were 3 of us thus she locked the other bedroom and we had to use a bathroom on another floor when in the TV room, If you used a log for the fireplace you were charged 3.00, told to take short showers and excess water usage kind of like the Nick Saban commercial, she did not provide enough towels thus we were doing laundry a lot even with her water use warning. Makes no sense...there were a plethora of other rules. Not sure if the owner was burned in the past with disrespectful guests and it is a million dollar home. So to summarize great place overall. Very strict host. If you staying with respectful adults like we are it is fine. If you have kids or younger teenagers I would pick somewhere else. Oh and a great view.

Great Base to Explore the Olympic!

My family of five had a great time at April's home. We enjoyed the quiet setting with deer, birds, pond and sea views. The home has everything you need for a comfortable stay! We appreciated its proximity to Port Angeles and the park.

Beautiful accommodation

We had a lovely stay at Duck Pond. The home was beautifully decorated, the kitchen well equipped, and the view was stunning. It was an easy walk to the beach and close to the Olympic National Park.

Great Girls Getaway!

We had a wonderful stay for a girls getaway weekend. The house was very clean and the view was gorgeous. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked.

Sheer Comfort & Peace at Duck Pond Beach House

Fantastic home with all of the amenities you could need. Stunning water views, short walk to beach, beautifully decorated with extremely comfortable beds (and pillows too!) We would definitely go back!

Family Vacation

Beautiful house. Enjoyed the outdoor deck with amazing view and grill. plenty of space for 3 adult couples. Host reponded quickly to any issues.

Perfect location and a beautiful house!

We had a great visit to this lovely property. Location was very convenient to several areas of interest - rainforest type trails, waterfalls, first beach at la push, the ferry at port Townsend - we saw bald eagles, many deer, bunnies, beavers, etc. April, the property manager, was very helpful and the house itself was everything we could have asked for.

Surfers will still surf everyday, even in a blizzard at dusk. Crazy to watch from the house. It's like being inside a snow globe. Super cool when it snows. April

Our vacation!

The house was beautiful with plenty of room. We were close to the areas we wanted to explore. Fewer items on counters would be good so guests had room to place what they were using.

Excellent layout, view, and location

Our group of four adults and five teens had an amazing time at Duck Pond. We were only able to stay for two nights, but the location was perfect for getting in some beach time, exploring parks, and relaxing over the holiday break. The house was well stocked for any visitor and decorated with beautiful, delicate items. Thank you for sharing your amazing home!
