The property had a beautiful view, the deck was spacious, room for games and meals. We had to clean out the fishing/toy/life saver room, it was a mess! The windows facing the lake need a window treatment in the dining area. And someone should go through the kitchen, it has way to many spatulas and hardly any baking dishes and mixing bowls. We did have a great time, it was my grandkids,kids and myself. We swam in the lake, used the kayaks, played games and watched movies. We would definitely come back!!

This was a great location near Port Angeles and the lake front property was amazing, the kids loved the host provided paddle boards and the firepit by the lake was great in the evening. The house was spacious and clean and had a full size washer and dryer. The only critique I have is for the rate per night which is pretty high, the bathrooms could use some updating however the property was as pictured so still 5 stars. Also the host was very responsive with questions.

We had a wonderful stay! It's a beautiful setting and was perfect for our family. Very peaceful, nice amenities, and located perfectly for everything we wanted to do.

Amazing stay

We got to create many great memories in a such a short time. Beautiful surroundings and an extremely fun time swimming/kayaking on the lake.

Amazing lake side location

Great location, amazing view, comfortable house. We loved having our morning coffee on the deck, with that amazing view of the stunningly beautiful lake. Paddleboards and kayaks were so fun! We’ll definitely be returning to this property in the future!

The best house on the lake!

We just had the best experience at this house. Very comfortable for our big group. Giant kitchen and living room. Plenty of space for all of us to sleep comfortably. We will definitely be renting this place again.

Stunning views

It was a fabulous little getaway. We have fun on the water with paddleboards, kayaking, and swimming in a beautiful setting. The house's location is perfect and well-equipped for our stay.

Great lake house

Great lake house. Enjoyed the fire pit and wood stove. Liked having a canoe to get out on the lake. Excellent location. Would definitely stay there again.

Comfortable house perfect for families

Great house. Very cozy and had all the house and lake amenities we needed. Beautiful views even better than the photos. My family with 4 kids ages 4 to 9 loved every minute of it and can’t wait to go back again.

Location Location!!

Excellent location for visiting the Olympic National Park on Peninsula. Very centrally located, beautiful spot on Lake Sutherland, easy access from main highway. Fast communication with owner.

This property worked really well for our trip. The location is perfect. The accommodations were comfortable. There were a few minor issues, some we didn't report. The owners voluntarily refunded some for the inconveniences.I would highly recommend this property if you're looking to be right on a lake in a beautiful spot.

We had a great stay right on Lake Sutherland, which was great for swimming and paddle boarding. It was also close to Lake Creacent, which offered Olympic National Park trails and the lodge, and it’s not far to the Sol Duc Valley section of the park. The house is reasonably well equipped and has a big dining area and living room. The TV is enormous. Access is easy and there’s a general store just up the road.

Breathtaking property

This was one of the best places we have ever stayed. The house was clean and comfortable and the views were spectacular. I did not want to leave.

This was our 2nd stay at Birds Landing. The home is huge and all one level (wonderful for older folks or those with bad knees) and was perfect for our family of four. The large pub-height dining table was the perfect spot for family meals and after dinner puzzles and games.The two docks and massive deck were great for relaxing and enjoying the view and the selection of water toys kept us out on the lake for hours!Lake Sutherland is a hidden gem, and Birds Landing is the best spot from which to enjoy it.

Long weekend retreat

House is right on Lake Sutherland with amazing views. Everything you need is right there in the house. We were able to cook meals, bbq and there were kayaks, paddle boards and a canoe for use. It was a great home base for exploring Lake Crescent.

Lakeside oasis

This was one of the houses we rented for family for my wedding weekend! The deck has a stunning view, the couch is the most comfortable couch you will ever sit on….the kitchen is brand new and the large table is awesome to sit around
