We had an awesome time at the lake house. The rooms were clean and there were lots of pots and pans to use in the kitchen. We never had to worry about charcoal or propane for the grill as they have a gas hookup for it which was great! The sheets were very soft in each room and the mattress did not hurt my back. There were plenty of pool toys and life jackets. The property manager lives on the property and is very nice and very attentive. We had a private beach which was great for the kids. I would say if you're bringing little ones maybe bring a baby gate or two to block the stairs. We plan to go back next summer and can't wait! Everyone slept comfortably and we just had the best family vacation!

The extended family stays a few weeks every year with lots of cooking going on, so we always want to make sure that if we need something in the kitchen, or pans need replacing we do it. This house by itself is a vacation! It is so very comfortable and well appointed. We would rent it again in a heartbeat. We were a small group and joked we each had our own “wing” of the castle but seriously this house is one of the best laid out homes for super large group. If I lived closer it would be my number one pick for a family reunion. Saving the best for last….. the views of the lake from the house are simply magical.

Great stay at the lake

We had 4 families stay with kids and the size of the house was great for accommodating everyone. The view and location was wonderful!

Great place

We have stayed here many times. Always good trip. Great beach area, kids love fishing off the dock, good boat access. Highly recommend it.

The Maloney Lake House is beautiful!

Our stay at the Maloney Lake House was wonderful. The house was great for our group with plenty of space to spread out, a remarkable view and everything you need in the kitchen and throughout. We highly recommend a stay!

Amazing house! Julia, Thank you for all your help during our stay, we truly appreciated it.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Maloney family home. Our family included our three sons, their wives and our 12 grandchildren! There was so much room to spread out so with 20 people it never felt crowded. The kitchen literally had EVERYTHING you would ever need!!Plenty of towels, linens and bathrooms!The lake was wicked awesome, and our whole family enjoyed every aspect, from the incredible variety of kayaks, paddle boards and floats available to the beautiful dock and Gazebo area which we spent quite a bit of time. The kids and grownups enjoyed fishing from the dock and the pontoon boat we rented from Tri-County Marina you recommended!Comments from the family included, I think this is the BEST HOUSE we have rented to date, and I have to say I agree! I personally as the matriarch have some mobility issue and the walk to the water was very doable for me which I truly appreciated as I was able to spend more time down by the water. The yard was beautifully maintained and the kids had a blast dancing, throwing a football, playing corn hole or just rolling around!Just going to say, if anyone has an opportunity to stay at this house they will be amazingly blessed. Thank you again for the opportunity to enjoy time with our family at your HOME away from home.

Amazing week for our family reunion!

This place provides something for every age, and our entire group of 19 couldn’t have been happier. Great house, great location & great owner. Responsiveness was excellent and we lacked for nothing. Hands down this was one of the best places we’ve stayed for our family reunions.

Amazing week!

We had an amazing week away with several families ! The location and layout of the house are ideal for a large group! The house is well stocked and has everything you need! The lake is so beautiful and clean - and quiet - even during 4th of July week. We hope to return soon!

Fun family memories!

This property is so spacious and has an amazing setting! The kitchen is very well-stocked. We had a total of 13 in our party and had plenty of space. We will be coming back again!

Family Reunion

We had our family reunion here - 9 adults and 11 grandchildren. The house had plenty of beautifully furnished bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate us all, as well as a large dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. Plus, there are lots of ‘hang out’ spaces both inside and on the porch for smaller groups of people to gather and chat or play games. Thank you for providing a beautiful and comfortable place for us to enjoy our family reunion.

Family reunion

Did not want to leave the property - activities for all age groups. We rented a boat, went white water rafting came back to the house for dinner. The entire family loved the beach and kayaking. Owners were extremely helpful.

The property and owners were perfect. They had things there and available that I hadn't even thought we would need, but used. As clean a property as I have ever seen.....A super experience......

Fantastic time at this lake house

We were at the Maloney Lake House for a celebration. Michael is prompt and sets a high standard for all of us. The house is in a beautiful location, easy access to the water. Rooms and common spaces are well appointed. Thank you Michael for offering us such a wonderful experience

Gorgeous location and property

We have been going to a major college football game for 37 years. 16 of us this year. Property was exactly as advertised and we were all super comfortable. We have done the VRBO in the past with listings that indicated they could sleep that many, unfortunately upon arrival that was not the case. I would strongly recommend this house to anyone going to this area. The host was amazing.

High School Graduation

The property was beautiful with an amazing view of the lake ,with easy access to the lake and dock. The house was equipped with everything you needed. The kids of all ages enjoyed the Kayaks and Paddle boards. The only downside we had was a cold and rainy 3 days for June. Unexpected, but made the most out of it. Would definitely recommend this property.

Wonderful! Couldn't have been better!

All of our family, of 24, fit in the house! It was spacious and there was plenty of light. The kitchen was amazing-everything you'd ever need-large pots, plenty of dishes and silverware. Plenty of eating areas. The bedrooms and baths were great, with plenty of hot water. We were there in the winter but 2 days were "warm" enough to play on the beach and outside. Great neighborhood to walk. Wonderful home and we are thankful for our time together under one roof!

Family Reunion

Beautiful and roomy home. Beautiful view of the lake. And 32 family members from GA, NC and PA. We all had a wonderful time. Loved the kitchen and the porch. The yard was great for corn hole, playing tag and hiding Easter eggs. Though the water was cold, the little ones and the teenagers didn't mind getting wet. Michael was great to work with also. We definitely will come back for future reunions.

Clemson graduation

We had a great stay at the Maloney Lake House. The house is perfect for a large gathering. The location and setting are lovely, beautiful and peaceful. We were in town for my sons graduation from Clemson University. It’s a little farther from Clemson University about 24 minutes but the few times we had to make the drive it is worth the ride. The property has more than enough bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate everyone. The kitchen and decks are just amazing and there is plenty to do right on the property that you really never have to leave.

Big Family. Fun for All!

There’s no way to state how amazing this house and property are! Our large family after-Christmas get together was the best we’ve ever had. I give the credit to the Maloney family for the way they have created a place that provides not only a more-than-comfortable home, but also a variety of activities for all ages to do. Kayaking, volleyball, football, playing on the beach, hanging out on the huge outside decks, card games, board games, scavenger hunt and hide-and-seek were all the activities our family participated in. From ages 4 to 69 - everyone had a blast making great family memories. We loved all the “little” touches that make a stay better and easier. We enjoyed having the ice machine, two choices of coffee appliances, a second refrigerator, and a large pantry area. The kitchen has plenty of everything you can want for your cooking needs. Comfortable beds, large bathrooms and a “secret” hideaway for the little ones to play in added to the appeal of this house. The first morning there, we got to witness the most beautiful sunrise over the east part of the lake and it was a peaceful reminder that our blessings are many. Thank you Maloney family for sharing the blessing of your lake home with us!!
