Hale Ka Mahina, walk to Hanalei Bay & town. TVNC-1115

Hale Ka Mahina is tucked away on a side street between Hanalei Bay and Hanalei town. Easily walk or ride bikes to the beach and town when you want to check the surf or grab a coffee at the Hanalei Bread Co. You won't need to drive unless you are off to explore the island's many beaches.

Located one block away from Pine Trees surf spot you will be sure to enjoy plenty of surf in the winter and perfect swimming conditions in the summer. The house has two king bedrooms, each with their own bathrooms. The large kitchen is open to a great room with extra high ceilings and plenty of room to hang out and watch a movie. There is a new queen size, memory foam, sleeper sofa in the living room for extra guests. The adjacent enclosed lanai area has stunning mountain, waterfall and sunset views. There is parking for two cars under the house and plenty of beach gear and bikes to use. Enjoy the outdoor shower after a day at the beach, then kick back, relax and bike to town for a fabulous meal at Ama or BarAcuda, yum!

*This is the top floor of a duplex, the lower levels is a 1 bedroom unit with a lovely, long term resident.

TSUNAMI EVACUATION ZONE: This property is located in a Tsunami Evacuation zone, in the event of a Tsunami warning guests must evacuate to Princeville. Evacuation maps and emergency shelter info are located in the house manual.

The Perfect Hanalei Getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is the second time that I have stayed in this house and both times have been wonderful. The update and remodel is quite nice, particularly in the kitchen which is fully stocked for all the cooking you might want to do. It is a short walk to town where we enjoy AMA for dinner and The Hanalei Bread Company for breakfast several times. The beach is an even closer walk and when the rains come through, the covered porch is perfect for cards or reading outside. I cannot wait to come back for my next visit. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Fantastic Property

This is a vey nice house. We especially enjoyed all of the outside space. Loved having access to all of the beach equipment and the bikes. Would definitely stay here again!

My family and I loved our stay. The house was beautifully designed and well stocked. The walk to Hanalei Bay was only 5 minutes. The view from the lanai could not be beat! Highly recommend!

Great Stay in Hanalei

We had a wonderful stay in Hanalei at this property. The pictures don't even fully do justice to how beautiful the actually house is. It was perfect for our family with plenty of space for everyone and all the amenities that you need. We look forward to returning soon!

Wonderful!!

We loved staying in Hanalei and loved staying in this house. Great location. Great decor. Great views. Riding bikes to the beach and to get food was a highlight.

Beautiful home perfect location

Terrific home within walking distance of town and beach. No AC got a little warm during the day but was manageable. We had an amazing stay will stay here again in the future

Awesome Hanalei!

This place was fantastic. It was clean, walkable to town/beach, quiet and well stocked. We enjoyed reading on the deck over a cup of coffee in the morning, walking to town for meals, hanging out on the beach and catching some waves, and relaxing! Everything was fantastic… we just wish we could have stayed longer.

We spent a week here with our daughter and son in law. It was perfect for our needs. The house is so close to the beach and town that you really don’t need anything else! We had such a relaxing week. We would definitely stay here again!

Huge, plenty big enough for family of four. If you could spend your time in one place on the island it would be at Hale Ka Mahina in Hanalei.

Location

Wonderful updated property with an abundance of amenities. We wanted for nothing extra as everything was carefully thought out. Short walk to beach and restaurants are just a bike ride away. Great place and location! We would stay here on our next trip.

Nothing says more than WE WILL RETURN. Such a magical location and beautiful home. Our favorite vacation spot is Hannalie and Princeville...the real Hawaii is Kauai!

Wonderful time!

Our group of four was returning to Hale Ka Mahina for the second time. We were so happy to come back. Everything was as we remembered only better. Such a beautiful house and conveniently located near the beach and town. Hope to be back soon!

Excellent property!

We spent 6 days in Hanalei at Mahina. The property is super clean and spacious. Everything is modern and the location is amazing - 5 min walk to the shops on one side and 5 mins to the beach on the other. Krisha is amazing, between texting her and the information available on their app, it was very easy to get information on what to do and how to do it.. Will definitely come back here the next time we want to visit Hanalei

Hanalei Trip

This was our first time staying in Hanalei, staying in Princeville in the past. We were very happy with our decision, both location and vacation rental! Nearly everything we needed for our trip was provided (bikes, umbrella, beach chairs, wagon, boogie boards, sand toys, beach towels, etc.), and the home was everything we were hoping for as well. -Thank you, Krisha!

Beautiful home

The property was fantastic. The only negative is that there is a section of the highway between the home and Princeville that floods very easily, causing the road to close. (We learned that first hand!) Krisha was super helpful and everything else about the rental was perfect!
