We absolutely loved this gem of a place. Great for kids and close to everything. We would absolutely stay here again and Corrine is extremely responsive.

Beautiful oasis on the river. It was so nice to sit on the deck and enjoy the view then walk 5 minutes to the swim beach. Extremely well-appointed and stock, we had everything we needed for our stay. Lovely quiet neighborhood, we liked short walks after meals. We would definitely recommend and book again!

This is a lovely house with a view of the river. The place was very clean, the beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and the table was a great place to eat and play board games after a day of swimming.The river is a quick walk away. If you like to stand up paddle board, go early and catch the river otters playing!

Had a wonderful relaxing time. House was very clean and had everything you might need or may have forgotten. House was exactly as described. Beautiful setting and very comfortable. Would highly recommend. Great for larger groups too.

Incredible place to stay!!

The house was impeccable! So incredibly clean and well appointed. The location is perfect. Calm and beautiful. Better than the pictures- we were blown away!

Another excellent stay!

We have stayed here several times, and it always delivers! Even with a few rainy days this time around, the home was super cozy. And in both the rainy and sunny moments, we never tired of the river view and wildlife spotting. The home is clean and well equipped, and the location is great!

Amazing hideaway

Great communication and access. Great kitchen and equipment if you plan on cooking. I will be going back to this house next time we visit.

Relaxing stay on the river

We had a great time at this rental house. Very spacious, cozy, had everything you could need. The views are lovely and the walk to the swimming beach is short and easy. My family had a great time. The only thing to note if you haven’t been to the area is that many restaurants are closed during the week- come prepared with food to cook. Would definitely stay again.

Another excellent stay!

We love staying here! Corinne is an outstanding host. The property is spotless and even better than the pictures. The kitchen is well stocked with cookware, utensils, and place settings. Check-in and check-out are simple. The absolute highlights are the view of the river and the bird watching in the backyard! This was our third stay, and we already look forward to another visit in the future.

We had a wonderful stay. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, and the house is extremely clean and very well maintained. The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped, which made cooking and spending time together really enjoyable. Our family felt comfortable throughout the stay.One thing to note is that the listing shows laundry availability, but there is actually no laundry on site, which was a bit misleading.Overall, we really enjoyed our time in this lovely home and appreciated the care that goes into keeping it so clean and well equipped.

So glad you had a wonderful stay! When Expedia took redesigned the VRBO site, some property information was reformatted and the nearby "coin laundry" we mentioned was added to our property features without our knowledge. We've corrected this! Thank you for pointing it out.

Great location & well stocked kitchen

This house is perfect, especially if you have young children. There is a lot of baby proofing throughout as well as a pack and play able to be used during the stay. There is a large loft with bunk beds, yoga mats, a projector, ping pong table and more. This house is a great home base to rest after a day at the river that is about a quarter mile walk away. The kitchen is very well stocked which made the stay even better. Definitely will plan on coming back!

Great Labor Day Getaway

Wonderful house, very comfy beds with super soft sheets. Lovely open plan living area and deck with a view of the river. Fun games room upstairs. Just a 5 min walk down the road to the river. Calm and peaceful, about 20 mins to Jenner where we had a great hike. Very cute little fox that visited a couple of times. We would stay here again.

Great Russian River Property

This property had everything our family of five adults could need for a great visit to the Russian River. From the well appointed gourmet kitchen, three bedrooms with extremely comfortable king size beds, open dining and living room, along with a large upstairs game room. Outside a wonderful spacious deck with a peaceful park like view of the river. We had a wonderful time and wouldn’t hesitate stay here again for future visits to the Russian River.

We all enjoyed the stay (three old guys). Beds were really comfortable, kitchen was well stocked. Two maintenance needs: The microwave didn't work and the water in toilet in the second bathroom ran slightly all the time.

We’re so glad to hear you had an enjoyable stay, Jim, and thank you for bringing these things to our attention. The microwave’s touchpad likely got scrambled when the housekeeping crew cleaned it and you just needed to hit “Stop/Clear.” One of the toilets has a new flushing mechanism that does take a little longer to fill the tank, so this may have given you the sense that it was running. Our maintenance team rechecked and assures us that both toilets are working fine. Next time, please call us so we can come out and address any issues immediately! We take great pride in the maintenance of this special home, and want everyone to have as perfect an experience as possible.

Off the grid

Comfortable cabin that is difficult to find and difficult to get to. It’s on the river, but disappointing that you really can’t access the river from the property. Very well equipped!

We're usually super-easy to find, as we're just one turn off of the main access roads of either 116 or Bohemian Highway, but there was some roadwork going on this week and apparently some map apps directed folks around to a circuitous route. It's since been completed! We always recommend downloading directions before you leave home because phone service can be spotty when driving in through the forest.

This house is really special. The loft was so much fun for our kids and the bedrooms were so comfortable. Everything you need is in the kitchen and it’s just a beautiful house. We loved it!!! The only downside is that it’s right on the river but you have to walk to the beach down the road to access the river. Hmmm. The neighbors had river access but we didn’t want to trespass. Not sure why there wasn’t a dock.

Heavenly

This is such a wonderful property in all ways. It’s incredibly well stocked and maintained, and yet you don’t feel like you’re in someone’s private home. The owner is lovely and accommodating. There were some issues with the heat and they came immediately to tend to it. The location is other worldly, tucked into the redwoods. Yet one side of the house is completely exposed to light and views of the river. The best of cozy redwood vibes and California meadow scenery. I hope to return.

I cannot say more positive things about our stay here. The house has the best stocked kitchen for cooking with every pot, pan, plate and glass you could hope for. We woke up in the morning to watch a romp of otters playing across the river and hummingbirds filling the wildflower garden. It was beautiful, serene and close to town for supplies. We hikes a nearby redwood trail, went in town for pizza and music and visited nearby vineyards. Would absolutely visit again. What a lovely place.

Getaway to wine country

Very nice, comfortable home with every thing we needed. Easy process for rental and quick responses when communicating with the property manager. If you are not used to the area the local road can be challenging, especially in the rain or at night.

Serene and comfortable

All the comforts of home in a beautiful setting. Enjoyed the nearby beach and walking Armstrong Redwoods. We brought an inflatable row boat and could easily enter the river from the beach a short walk away. The place has everything needed and them some. No washer or dryer, so pack accordingly.
