Our incredibly charming, fully self-contained 1000 sq ft private rural guest home retreat sits over our garage in the middle of 20 lush acres bordering US Forest Service land and is located just minutes from Lost Trail Ski area, rivers, fishing, lakes and hiking (guests can hike into the forest straight from the property). It has the rustic quintessential Montana vibe + 360 degree views of mountains, pine trees & horse pasture. It features a queen size log bed with a super comfy mattress, 2 full sized futon (fits two adults) Franklin style gas fireplace, full Kitchen (with spices, oil, herbs, organic coffee, sugar and honey), bathtub/shower with shampoo, conditioner and soap in a pump bottle, two additional couches, WIFI, skylights & HD TV as well as access to a 5-person hot tub on the main house back deck with views of the mountains and horses! And when the chickens are cooperating, we will supply organic eggs with yummy bacon! Please let us know how many beds you need before hand. There are exterior cameras on the property

Perfect spot for after skiing

Loved our stay! Perfect distance from Lost trails ski resort! Great place to relax after a day of skiing and the hot tub was perfect way to end the day! Kitchen was fully stocked and made making our own meals easy!

Perfect place in Conner, MT

This was a great place for a couple. You could easily sleep up to six or seven but it's all one room. Gas grill outside with a picnic table right by the fields. I was a little concerned that there did not to be a CO monitor, especially since the heater and stove are gas

Great Montana Getaway

This quiet location provided a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Picturesque pastures, hills and mountains formed an idyllic setting. The loft apartment was thoughtfully appointed with all that we needed for a few days of comfort and rest. Our hosts were responsive to our questions and made us feel incredibly welcome at their property. Great getaway.

Gem in the Rockies

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property was so beautiful and we enjoyed watching the horses and deer from our windows. Very peaceful property located in a nice area. The accommodations were well maintained, well equipped, cute Montana Decor throughout. We will stay here again on our next fly fishing trip to the Bitterroot.

A Pleasant Welcome to Montana

First time to Montana and this place was such a home away from home. The check in was super easy and the host communicated everything I needed to know before arrival. The complimentary eggs and bacon was the perfect welcome as I got in a bit late and grocery shopping was the last thing I wanted to do. The views of the ranch were a welcome morning wake up routine and the horses were a friendly greeting to and from the rental. Located just south of Darby in the bitterroot mountains, the rental was the perfect HQ to get to hiking trails, Lake Como, or the local stomping grounds. I got to browse the farmers market and hike to my heart’s content. Definitely recommend this place if you need a comfortable stay and a hearty welcome to Montana!

Fantastic accommodations on an operational horse farm. Decor, amenities and comforts all exceeded expectations. Location is ideal for accessing and exploring many of Montana’s scenic treasures.

Walking up steps to the guest house which was above the garadge “I was so happy to see the place. It was fabulous. So nicely decorated. I could live there easily. Each window you looked out had a great view, the mountains, the fields with the horses, cows. There was everything there that you might need, coffee, spices, aluminum foil shampoo, conditioner, body soap. The bed was so comfortable. You will not be disappointed when you make a reservation. Happy vacationing!

Great Stay!

We stayed here for a few nights with our pup. We all had a really great time and the owners/host team were really easy to ask questions to and get ahold of. It is a private loft but the driveway/backyard/hot tub were shared with another rental unit and the host house. This wasn't an issue for us I just didn't realize that from the listing. Overall, it was a great experience!

Skiing at Lost Trail

My son and I stayed here for the first part of a ski trip. It was a great stay. Property was very clean, homey, and was beautiful. The beds were comfortable. The decorations had a mountain / cozy cabin feel. Hosts were attentive, polite, and caring. They left fresh eggs and bacon with a personal note in the refrigerator as a "enjoy a mountain breakfast on us." We would stay here again.

Beautiful get away!

It was the amazing time. The jacuzzi was fabulous after a long day of skiing. We had a wonderful time there, with easy access to the mountain and the dogs loved being able to play in the snow. This is a great place to bring the family and enjoy the snowy weather.

Great place to stay

It was a beautiful place to stay and it was not far from Darby. It was very clean and the people that work there are very nice. Loved the complementary eggs and bacon! The beds were super comfy and I would definitely stay again! Owner was very responsive to questions. I couldn’t have asked for better accommodations while attending my sister’s wedding.

Home away from Home

I loved everything about my stay! I felt completely at home; best nights sleep I’ve had in a long time with the cool mountain breeze and the quiet surroundings. Donna and Jim were so great and very responsive to all of my needs. I loved exploring the property and being so close to Darby. I can’t wait to come back next summer!!

Nice Place To Access Lost Trail

Great place for a family of 4 with a dog to spend a weekend skiing at Lost Trail. We saw many elk and greatly enjoyed the fresh eggs and bacon.
