Spacious Rustic Log Home for up to 10 guests at Adventure U.P. Enjoy private beach on Little Bay de Noc. Also a pop up camper on beach with queen and king bed for a real out door experience. Secluded enough for privacy, close enough to check out local highlights. Come and explore all the U.P has to offer and more!

When you rent at Adventures U.P you rent:
- THE MASTER BEDROOM QUEEN-sized PRIVATE bedroom with closet and dresser.
- THE GUEST BEDROOM - queen sized PRIVATE bedroom with closet, ceiling fan and dresser.
- THE LOWER LEVEL SUITE: Two QUEEN-sized PRIVATE spacious remodeled basement with a private full bathroom, closet, TV, recliner
- ENTIRE house, including a full kitchen, bathroom, a great room with a gas fireplace, a second living room with a electric fireplace, and a beautiful spacious dining room. New full sized deck with a screened in patio area.

Our home is situated on 2 1/2 wooded acres and 165 ft. of lake frontage. We offer a unique place to stay for a while and relax, or use our place as a home base for exploring all that the U.P. has to offer. Rustic private camping on beach also available. Log wood stove sauna available only when given a prior tutorial (unless experienced Sauna guests). Two campfire pits, one by the home and one on the beach for a relaxing enjoyable evening! Firewood included.

Things to do from our home: swimming, (kayaks available) An hour away from many sites.. Picture Rocks National Park, Fayette state park and Big Springs are guest favorites. In the winter, enjoy snowshoeing, cross country skiing or fish right off our beach. But best of all sitting, relaxing, and enjoying the sights and sounds of nature.

INCLUDED IN EVERY BOOKING:
- Two full bathrooms one half
- Full kitchen with pantry, electric stove, full fridge/freezer (additional fridge in garage), microwave, toaster oven, microwave, coffee grinder and maker, full cooking set including dishes etc, and a multitude of spices. Also toaster oven and microwave.
- Clean linens and towels
- Wireless internet
- Washer and dryer
- 2 fire pits (one at house and one on the beach)
- Unlimited access to over 160ft of sandy beach frontage. Beach is located down a beautiful trail where there is decking, table and chairs also a fire pit for evening campfires.
- Swimming raft (water shoes needed & swim at your own risk. NO LIFEGUARD)
- You may be likely to see abundant wildlife, including eagles, herons, cranes, deer and more. One of our favorite attractions are the many hummingbirds that come to our feeders!
- Screen area on deck to enjoy the outdoors when bugs are out.
- Wood fired sauna available, please ask for instruction. Kayaks,life jackets, swimming raft

The house was very clean and the homeowners greeted us when we got there. They showed us around property which was nice. The private beach area was great and kayaking was awesome. There was even a camper by the beach. We used both firepits outside. Saw wildlife around the property which was cool. Great place to stay.

Monica and Morley were great hosts! The property was clean and just as represented on the website/app. I would definitely stay again. This property is a great, lake-side getaway location. An easy path to the beach with wonderful water access, plenty of water toys provided by the host and a bonus by-the-lake camper that is quiet, clean and comfortable for anyone wanting to really enjoy an overnight sleep-out style camping experience with out really camping out. The amenities at the main house were great too. There was always plenty of hot water available (thanks to the on demand water heater) and room for everyone to either gather around the table and play games or have their own quiet, relaxing space for reading or conversation. Easy access to town for shopping, eating out or ice cream, and, plenty of close by places to explore and visit in the UP, as well. I would definitely recommend staying here if you have a large family and want to experience an UP north vacation.

Great UP stay

Property was clean and ready when we arrived. Wood sauna was wonderful on our one rain day we had. Beach was clean and loved that we had it all to ourselves. House was roomy and and we had everything we needed for our stay.

Wonderful place to relax with family and friends

Monica and Morley have a beautiful home that they happily share. We stayed with our adult kids and their partners and kids and this home couldn't have been more perfect for us. Beautifully kept, welcoming and comfortable. Nice amenities and everything was perfectly thought out. The beach was perfect for the kids (12 and 6 years old). Very peaceful.

UP Adventure Vaca

Property was excellent in so many ways: privacy, welcome gift basket, clean and very organized, comfortable and family centered decoration, abundant wildlife viewing, well maintained beach and footpath. The property clearly shows the personality and thoughtful intent of the owners. Our family of 4 adults, 2 children (5 and 2) would not hesitate to stay here again, or to highly recommend it.

Great Escape

The property was perfect for our stay. The guys went ice fishing and the gals stayed in the warm and cozy house. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and enjoyed the comfortable sitting areas. Monica was very welcoming and made herself available to us if we had issues, but nothing came up.

Awesome Time at UP Adventure!

Our family’s stay was wonderful! The house is warm and cozy, perfect for a winter stay in the UP. We were greeted and welcomed by the owner, who showed us the ins and outs of the property and made us feel at home before leaving us to enjoy our stay. The location and setting of the property is perfect. Inside you will find everything you need to make your stay restful and relaxing, no detail was forgotten by the host. Make sure you play pizza, taco, goat, cheese. Best game ever.

We were there for my wife's birthday, and from the moment we arrived we were in awe. The home and property were very clean and well maintained. You can tell that this place is loved by its owners. The amenities were top notch! The kids and ourselves made wonderful memories on this trip, thanks to our hosts and their lovely property we were lucky enough to experience. Already hoping and planning to go there again next year. My wife and i slept in the camper for two of the three nights and fell asleep and awoke to waves on the beach. Truly a trip to paradise and it didn't even require a 12 hour plane trip. I want to recommend this place ro everyone, but i also wish it were a secret so that we won't have a hard time getting a booking next time we want to go! Extremely satisfied!

Incredible House, Beach and Hosts!

We wanted a quiet place with a private beach for our large family to be able to have a relaxing vacation, we couldn't have been more lucky to find Adventure UP! The house was clean and every detail had been well thought out. Abundant seating inside and out. Campfire ring at the house and beach. Completely secluded beautiful beach with tons of sand and a great grass area. Tables in the shade for card games. I really can't say enough good things about this location and Monica and Morley have to be some of the best hosts in the rental world. Fast communication and met us for a complete tour of the property on our arrival. We would love to stay here again and would recommend it to any one!

Our family stayed in this incredible home for 5 nights( 8 adults 2 children and a 3mo old baby). The home and property exceeded all of our expectations! Words cannot possibly describe the feeling of being wrapped in love this home gives off! The home has been immaculately cared for and there was no detail they have overlooked inside or out, we lacked for nothing. We enjoyed every sweet spot on this property from the abundant bird watching on the deck, to the pristine beach and water. The gorgeous peaceful wooded walking path was absolutely one of everyone’s favorite parts of the experience. So very thankful for the host’s generosity in sharing their home with our family

Loved that the host was there to greet us and show us around. The house is bigger and roomier than I thought the pictures showed. We had a group of 10 and had plenty of room for people to spread out and loved that we all could sit together at dinner. House was very clean and property was well maintained and gorgeous. Beautiful sunsets at the beach. The first hill down to the lake was a little steep but so worth it. House had everything we needed. I would rate it a 10 out of 10.

Great vacation for two families with little kids.

We had a great experience at this property. We had two families with a total of 6 little kids under age 8 and Monica and Morley had everything set up for us including a double cot in the den and a pack-n-play for the toddler. The private beach is great, a bit of a steep hike back but beautiful and relaxing. The kids loved playing in the sand and on the swim raft. The kayaks were great and in awesome condition. The fire pit at the beach made for a comfortable afternoon on a chillier day. There is ample fridge space with an extra fridge in the garage. We did easy day trips within a hour to Pictured Rocks, Fayette and Kitch-iti-kipi. We didn’t get to utilize the deck in the evening as much as we’d have liked to because previous renters had damaged the screened in tent and bugs get a little intense at night, which was disappointing. A few things would have made our stay a little bit easier, a dishwasher and more spare towels. Also removing breakable/choke-able decor when little kids are in the group. The owners have some cool decor and accessories that include animal skulls and rocks but we had to move them out of fear the kids would damage them or lose them. Overall it was a great UP retreat that was true to the UP lifestyle. Lots of wildlife, including a fawn we saw nightly. The house and surrounding property is beautiful.

Rural lovely cabin and gardens

Pulling up to the property after a long travel day was a pleasure. The deck, being located in the rear, private and large, was properly lit for intimate family conversation, or reading Pandora on your cell phone. Just the right ambiance. This cabin is an artists delight, comfortable, and with everything one could possibly require and more. The hummingbirds were mesmerizing, the gardens wonderfully kept and we were allowed to help ourselves to the veggie bounty. If there was another star, this host couple definitely earned it. I highly recommend this magnificent property for a family week filled with memories.

We had a Wonderful time!

We are a large family of 13, and when we were looking for a vacation house there were some things that were important to us. With having a walk through the woods to the lake I was concerned about wild animals and how thick of the woods it was. We were happy to know for as secluded as it seems there are neighbors and the walk down to the lake was safe and quite enjoyable. I was reassured we didn't have to worry about bears. We did spot some deer close by as well as bald eagles! Once at the lake it was a mother's dream! There was plenty of sand for the little ones to play in, a stream for them to walk in and the water stays shallow for a LONG way out. Plenty of chairs, a swing, a fire pit, and even a camper if someone wanted to camp out. We all thoroughly enjoyed it! The house has plenty of spots to sleep. Lots of blankets , sheets, pillows, and a pack n play. There's a secret spot for the children to play in. Coffee stations, three bathrooms two showers( but no bathtub), large area for coats and shoes. It was nice to be able to pick produce from the deck. The bugs weren't bad at all for us, but if they are, there's a zipped canapy tent with nice relaxing chairs. It was nice to meet the owners who care very much for their property and enjoy meeting new people. If we were to have any issues they were close by. Thanks for opening up your beautiful home for us to enjoy!

Fantastic experience!

Our group of 8 absolutely loved our stay at this wonderful property! The hosts have thought of everything to make the home and surroundings welcoming and relaxing. The house provided plenty of space for us to hang out/read/play games/cook, and the private beach was amazing with plenty of kayaks and water toys included. The hosts were friendly and gracious and provided a perfect quick tour of the property to make sure we knew our way around. We are already checking our calendars for our next trip!

Just like home

This vacation rental felt just like home. The owners met us at the property to show us around and teach us how everything works. Being someone who uses rentals regularly, this was such a nice touch and ensured we knew where everything was. They had the home set up for us ahead of time with beds/cots laid out for our kids and all ready to go. The beachfront property was the highlight of the trip. They had kayaks and life jackets for us to use, some sand toys, an amazing area for seating, etc. As a mom with small children, the water was perfect because it was a sandy bottom and you had to go pretty far out to get into deep water. That gave me a lot of peace of mind as my kids played. This rental has everything you need for a comfortable stay and I hope we get to go back and stay again sometime.

A Perfect Getaway

This log home and property was a perfect fit for our six night stay in the U.P. We had ten people in our group with ages ranging from 18 to 52. The home is spacious, yet cozy and has a great rustic feel but includes all the modern convinces one would want. We took several day trips but made sure to spend a couple of days just relaxing and and enjoying the property. It's located on the edge of a beautiful stand of trees and a short walk down to a private beach. We spent as much time as possible down by the water swimming, kayaking, watching sunsets, using the fire pit etc. The beach was the icing on the cake for us. The owners were wonderful people and very helpful.

We have lived here for 34 years and have raised our 3 children here. We are now open to offering our home to groups and families to experience the natural beauty and peacefulness of the U.P.

The wildlife and peacefulness of this place lets you really relax and unwind from the hectic pace life can throw at you! We have so many wonderful places to explore in this area but do yourself a favor and take at least a day to relax on the deck, beach or kayak, watch a sunset and enjoy a crackling campfire! Now thats living!!
