Very nice cabin in a great location. It’s very private - can’t see neighbors from property. It was very clean. It is a family’s personal cabin so there’s a few extra personal items around. The cabin had everything we needed- kitchen items, tools, camping chairs for sitting by the creek. My kids loved catching crayfish.

This is the second year at the lodge for the guys to get together and fish a little it meets all of our needs and being able to all be in one cabin together is a huge plus. Were already looking forward to next year.

Very relaxing midwinter stay in early March for wife and I who sort of booked it at last minute. Host went out of way to make sure the road was well cleared and plowed as it was likely really buried in when we made our reservation after recent storms. Very clean cabin and very private set back in woods by frozen river!

The location was great just off of hwy 41. Clean and accommodating for our family. The children loved the river for wading and even a net for catching crayfish!

Wonderful time

We had such a great time at the cabin with our family. The river was absolutely perfect for our kids, and the house was so well stoked and comfortable. We felt right at home.

Family summer vacation

Was very clean and quiet. Property was fun and quiet and river is nice. Close to alot of fun attractions in the U.P.

Clean cabin with lots of room

We had a great stay exploring the area. Centrally located to lots of places to explore. Great to have lots of beds and large table for our family of 6. Would recommend for families! Easy to connect with host if needed.

Todd was very responsive and accommodated all our needs. The house had everything you could want and then some. We greatly enjoyed our stay and the hospitality.

We had a wonderful stay! Everything was exactly as described, and the location was absolutely perfect for everything we wanted to see and do during our trip.Rapid River was a great home base for exploring the Upper Peninsula. We visited Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Munising and Lake Superior, Kitch-iti-kipi (The Big Spring), waterfalls, beaches and beautiful scenic areas — all within about 1–1.5 hours from the house. We also rented a pontoon boat, went kayaking on the river, and explored some of the amazing cliffs and scenery in the area. We packed a lot into one week and loved every minute of it!One of the nicest surprises, though, was the wildlife right outside the house. First morning we looked out the window and saw seven deer, including little fawns, staring back at us. It was such a beautiful way to start the day.And we can't forget our favorite little visitor — a beautiful blue-eyed cat who came to greet us in front of the house every day. He definitely picked the right family because we are huge animal lovers! We became friends very quickly and really enjoyed having him around all week. He was our unexpected extra attraction.It was a wonderful week — thank you for hosting us!!

We absolutely loved our stay at Todd's cabin! The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, which made settling in a breeze. The cabin itself was cozy and well-maintained, and we especially appreciated the excellent kitchen facilities—it had everything we needed to cook and enjoy our meals comfortably. We look forward to stay there again in the future. Thank you!!

Amazing place!

Both the property and cabin were beautiful! Excellent communication with the owner. I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a peaceful getaway! The river at the back provided a great amount of fun. Seriously, can't say enough good things about here!

Family Fishing Trip

Our family enjoyed staying at your cabin. We really liked the large common space to gather ,have meals, visit and play cards. The drive down to Little Bay wasn’t bad and it made a great home base for our fishing trip. Thanks again for sharing your place. Lots of memories were made. We hope to visit again next year.

A group of us fishing together for 30years stayed at the property couldn't have served us better plenty of room well kept the whole group was very impressed and enjoyed their stay hope to be back again thanks Todd you we're right we had a blast thanks Dan

We had a great time at the cottage. It was well stocked and had everything we needed. Our daughter loved exploring the little creek behind the house. It was wonderful being able to bring our dog up with us. We stayed five nights and the cabin was nice and centrally located to all of the different places we went to, Munising, Marquette, Kitchi iti Kippi, Garden peninsula, and Escanaba. The price was extremely reasonable compared to other places we had looked at. We would highly recommend staying here.
