Conveniently located near to both downtown Ferndale & Royal Oak, my newly renovated, modern home is the perfect place for all types of travelers. Be in the heart of Detroit in under 20 minutes. Reserve this entire house complete with queen size beds, work space, 4 full bathroom & jacuzzi tub, and access to a luxurious large kitchen, living room, laundry, large backyard and free on site parking. Enjoy exciting restaurants, cafes, shops, venues, and nightlife in Ferndale & Royal Oak, & Detroit!

My newly renovated home is two-story modern beauty with a bit of rustic craftsman charm. The large, open plan first floor features a comfortable living room complete with television, Netflix, HBO, and Hulu. The dining area features a large 15' handmade live edge table that can seat up to 12 guests, and the luxurious kitchen is well equipped with all the appliances and utensils needed to make a delicious meal. There is 1 bedroom on the first floor with a private full shower bathroom next to. The second floor features the master suite, as well as 2 comfortable queen bed guest rooms and bathroom you'll enjoy. The laundry is also located on the second floor, and available for you to use.

Perfect

Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect location and setting for our small family get together. Everything we needed was there, including nice “extra” touches around every corner. I’m so glad we booked this house. We’ll do it again, for sure!

PERFECT

This property was exactly what we were looking for for a getaway close to tons of fun things. This house is gorgeous inside and out, with plenty of beds and space for fun and gathering. The host was wonderful and we had a blast. The location also couldn’t be beat!

Weekend back in MI to visit parents/family

Family and friends gathered back home in MI for a couple different family functions over the weekend. The house was perfect, as pictured but larger than expected with a wonderful amount of space. House was clean and kitchen and laundry were well stocked. Colby is a great host, with clear check in instructions and was easily accessible for questions. The backyard was also a pleasant space to hang out day and night. I would only have 2 recommendations; more hangers in the guest rooms and the rug in the family room was shedding somewhat. These were minor issues and didn’t affect the stay at all in a negative way. Just something that the next guests might benefit from. Oh also, the beautiful hydrangeas in bloom were also a pleasant surprise to greet us upon arrival.

AMAZING stay

I have to say this was probably our best VRBO experience. Colby was a fabulous host. Replied to messages, answered any questions we had, gave great food recommendations. The house was in amazing shape. Decorated so so nicely. Pictures were spot on! The location was perfect for us. We were there for a wedding in downtown Detroit with activities planned in Birmingham and they were all close Uber rides. No issues getting Ubers either. Thank you so much for having us Colby!

Family gathering for wedding

My family of 10 stayed here for my nieces wedding. The home was beautiful. There was plenty of space for everyone and enough bathroom space for everyone to get ready. The 3 teenage kids shared the basement space which had its own bathroom with a shower. The beds were comfortable. The neighborhood was great with nice sidewalks for morning walks. A small park with tennis courts was walkable. The kitchen was well stocked and great for gathering. The house was great!! Would definitely stay again.

Lovely home. Book it.

We booked this home for a cousin's reunion during NFL Draft week. This house had everything we needed. Location is perfect, easy on and off the freeway. We enjoyed the backyard and fire pit. Traffic makes it a little loud, but the yard is fenced in and private. Lots of space in the home and beautifuly decorated. We had a great time and the host was great too. Book it. You won't regret it.

Great place & stellar host!

The house was fantastic. It more that met all of our needs. It was clean and lots of really nice touches. Plenty of towels, blankets and everything you’d need for your stay. A beautiful home. Colby was a great host. Super communicative and was flexible on check-in and check-out times and the check-out process was as easy as I’ve experienced. Highly recommend this property.

Great house for family

We stayed at the Pleasant Ridge property over the Thanksgiving holiday. The house was very comfortable for our family of eight and exceeded our expectations. Colby was a wonderful host and we hope to return some day.

Stay to visit nearby family

We had a nice stay and Colby was very friendly and welcoming. The house had everything we needed and was comfortable and secure. We enjoyed seeing the bunny outside in the backyard each morning. Thanks for a great place for our home base while visiting nearby family!

Perfect place to stay!

House was clean and beautiful! Plenty of space for everyone. Location was amazing! Stayed for a bachelorette party and we were able to walk into downtown royal oak or grab a quick Uber ride. Would highly recommend! Colby was accommodating and wonderful to communicate with. Truly have nothing negative to say!

Pleasant Stay in Pleasant Ridge

Very nice house in a beautiful neighborhood close to the Detroit Zoo and Royal Oak. Near most everything you want to see in Detroit. The house is great for a family experience.

Exceeded Expectations

The house was beautifully designed and very spacious. Everything was super clean and location perfect. I would say the house is better than advertised, and the property manager extremely responsive to any questions we had!

Colby was great and the property has everything we needed! The location was close to bars and restaurants as well as close to downtown Detroit. We would love to stay at this place again!

Stunning place

My girls and I needed a place to get ready the day of for my wedding and this was the perfect place. House was just gorgeous so it made it perfect for our getting ready photos. Beds were extremely comfortable, and having 3 bathrooms was a plus, as you know how long girls take to get ready. The place was so clean, spacious and had everything you need. I would give this place 10 stars if I could but 5 is the max.

Large family home close to Detroit zoo

We had a fun stay with three sets of couples and kids over the July fourth week at Colby’s house. There were lots of pros to the home including: Close to amenities and walking distance to Detroit zoo. Large living areas and modern kitchen Nice neighborhood with kid-friendly park a short walk away Working AC and lots of fans There were a few cons: The home has been recently renovated and not all finished (some tiles loose, a few door handles not on, including the door down to the basement) Some may find the open staircase/lack of banisters a no-go with little kids The host Colby was a great communicator. He was responsive to our needs - for example, when we mentioned the lack of baby safety gates for the stairs and basement he went right out and bought some for the home. Overall a lovely spot, nice house and good find in Detroit.

Pleasant stay
