Great place, even better hosts

Hosts were communicative and flexible. If you need something, just reach out! The spot was as advertised. The patio is gorgeous and usable, even in the winter. It might be a little chilly even with the fireplace, but bundle up with a jacket, a blanket, and watch the sunset. Thanks for letting us stay

Pleasant home away from home

Lovely refurbished home in a quiet neighborhood. There were modern appliances and a light and open look with attractive decorations throughout the home. We were fortunate to have some warmer winter weather so that the patio was pleasant with the electric fireplace.

Perfect for my birthday

I was looking for a place to host my birthday dinner since our home is undergoing some renovations. This house was perfect, we loved the inclosed patio in the back! Bedrooms were very clean and comfortable. Ish was very helpful and accommodating. Would definitely recommend to others!

Wonderful Fall Get Away

This is the second time my girlfriends and I stayed at this property. It is such an adorable home to stay in for our girls weekend. We have particularly enjoyed the enclosed back porch. Ish is an extremely attentive host and cares about the details of offering a very welcoming home away from home. We also LOVE the neighborhood, we enjoyed lovely walks around this quaint neighborhood, admiring the beautiful colors of the fall leaves. Highly recommend this property!

Lovely House in a Quiet Neighbourhood

Booked this house for a group of us for the Woodward Dream Cruise. Was absolutely perfect... house is in a nice quiet neighbourhood that's close to everything we needed to get to. Enclosed patio is wonderful and we made good use of the barbecue while we were there! Parking can be a little tricky with a group as there's only space for one car in the driveway, and you have to park across the street due to city regulations... but that's hardly Ish's fault! Ish (the host) was responsive and great to deal with, though thankfully no issues came up while we were there. Would certainly consider staying here again next year :)

We had a wonderful stay! The house was super cute, clean, and comfortable! It was a quick drive to downtown Royal Oak, where we saw a concert at the music hall. The place was fully stocked with basic bath/shower supplies. The kitchen was equipped with appliances and cooking essentials. The host was quick to respond and provided us with detailed instructions about check-in/check-out. Overall, great experience!

Quiet neighborhood

The house was Absolutely Beautiful, clean and spacious! The pictures on the app doesn't do the house any justice! The host was awesome. I would love to rent it again when the weather is warmer so I can use the grill and enjoy the backyard more!

Beautiful Last Minute Stay!

My parents and I were in the area and started out at another Vrbo location. That location ended up being less than desirable with many maintenance issues. We were able to end that agreement but needed another place to stay aap. This was a viable and for an awesome price. We are so blessed this was a viable and ready for us to move in the next day. Cozy, well kept home. Will keep in mind if we are in the area again!

Nice Neighborhood and Property

This home reminded me of my home in Detroit. We were in town to provide care for my Mother while my sisters take a much deserved vacation. This home was is a good location to travel both to farmington to visit my Mother and Lake Huron for breaks. There were ample pans, utinsils, dishes, for cooking meals. The home, beds, and bedding were comfortable It was great having 2 bathrooms since we were traveling with a teenage girl. Everything worked well and was well maintained. Our favorite place was the extra large patio. The neighbor is great, which I was concerned about not knowing the area. We were even able to get a jump on our car from the neighbor when our battery was dead due to a light being left on all night. My grand daughter was extra delighted with the downstairs bedroom and bathroom. The owner is very accommodating and hospitable. I will add this to our list of favorites when visiting family.

During the day, I'm an engineer working for the Detroit automotive industry.

On my days off, you will find me snowboarding in Colorado, Scuba diving in Mexico, or racing cars and motorcycles on race tracks.
