This property was 100% accurately described. The room was absolutely beautiful, very well decorated, clean and most of all comfortable. The host were very easy to communicate with and responsive in a timely manner. We even had decorations shipped to the resort and the host decorated the room for our special occasion. And they went above and beyond what was asked. The view was great, the temperature was comfortable in all rooms. The kitchen was very well stocked. The couch and all the beds were very comfortable. This place was perfect and we will book again if ever back in the area!

Room itself was beautiful great view and as described. The elevators are a disastrous nightmare 30 floors and 4 total elevators for that many people sheww. Grounds were still very clean to be so big of a place.

Overall this unit has beautiful views!! However, the smells from the unit were very disturbing. It smelled like poo in the room. Once you were in there for a while it went away, but when you leave & come back, you could smell it again...The room does not sleep couples well. It would be best for 1 couple & kids and/or friends. The elevators are horrendous there!! I should have read more reviews. You MUST plan coming and going to include elevator wait times. I unfortunately will NEVER stay at Tidewaters again.

We had a great time! Very clean beautiful beach and city view! Trying to get an elevator was the only thing we had a problem with! But other than that the trip was perfect!

Clean, awesome view, great owner to work with!

We loved staying here! Everything was clean, the kitchen was well stocked and the location was amazing. The elevators in the building are definitely a bit of a pain, but the one closest to this unit actually was less busy than the ones in the middle of the building, so that worked out nicely. I would suggest bringing a few extra trash bags, laundry detergent and dishwasher detergent since there was a very limited supply of those items. Everything else was amazing and the communication from the owner was timely and thorough and everything went very smoothly.

Overall good great view

We had a good stay. We’ve stayed at other vrbo locations and had more amenities in the room but this one wasn’t the worst. Min amount of paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap but I asked that before hand and the owners told me. Weather wasn’t the best but nearby attractions kept us busy. Location does not have any sidewalks or crosswalks right off building. Walk to grocery store was slightly risky. Parking garage didn’t accept our vehicle with luggage rack so had to pay extra to park across street. Also meant unloading and loading vehicle had to be done in stages across the street b/c they don’t allow that to be done in front of the resort. View is amazing!! The master bed is very uncomfortable. Wasn’t as clean as you might think. Look under the beds we found Cheeto’s bags in different areas. With all that said we enjoyed our stay, elevators weren’t as bad as others have stated, 30 story’s be prepared to wait. Wish we stayed longer but not sure id rent again at the tidewater. With our very small children we had enough room in the unit (pack n play even fit in bathroom at night for infant) it just wasn’t safe walking around the resort with lack of sidewalks.

Another Excellent Stay!

This was our second time staying in this unit. Both times have been wonderful. Elevators are a bit slow, but that is no fault of the unit or owner. Very clean. Great views. Looking forward to staying here again!

Our stay

Our stay at at tidewaters hotel was great. But our condo was not the best. The floor was nasty. It felt like a inch of slim every where in the condo. Also when we booked it said you had to be 21, but when we got to hotel you to be 25. We did not have a 25 year old! I do not recommend renting this condo!!

The hotel charge you extra money late registration fee and knowing if you go through vrbo they don’t provide it to you, the Elevators! OMG! 15-20 min wait no lie all were running slow or not coming at all pple had to take the stairs Tidewater Resort made my vacation horrible will never stay again and the room floors were not clean, feet was black in less than a minute, bed sunk down at top and they wanted you to clean the room but charge a cleaning fee! Never again

Very Nice condo. Excellent views. Elevators took some learning but very easy and efficient once you master them. Loved the access to beach and security of the wrist bands

Panama Vaca 2020

Floors in condo were sticky upon arrival. Elevators were extremely slow. Waited 45-50 minutes on several occasions for an elevator. Also cleaning crew should have their own service elevator.

Elevator problems

Everything was good except elevator was 30 to 45 minutes wait to get on elevator and they were slow and hot inside. One elevator stop working my 2nd day there and was still not working when I left which was 6 days later and another elevator also stop working later in week.. Also should be larger elevator for the amount of rooms on property. Until elevators are improved I would recommend staying on lower floors because of wait on elevator. Thanks,

Great place

Condo was exactly as listed. Beautiful and the view was amazing. Perfect for my large family. Communication with owner was great, very timely. We enjoyed out stay!

Condo was everything and then some!

Owners easy to work with! Clean, comfortable, beautiful views, easy walk to get groceries or to restaurants, beautiful beach, great fitness center, lovely pool/jacuzzi areas. We enjoyed our 3 month stay immensely!
