Mountain View Retreat central to Asheville and Black Mountain

Retreat to Smokey Mountain Hideaway in the Blue Ridge Mountains! This comfortable, spacious, 3 story home has plenty of room with 5 bedrooms & 4 full bathrooms, you can easily sleep 10 ppl. Enjoy the peace and quiet on the expansive decks while you soak in the mountain views and sunsets. Centrally located between Asheville & Black Mtn, an easy commute to experience all that these towns have to offer! **Shared driveway, 5 cars maximum allowed.**

THE SPACE:
The main level is where you'll enter, with a fully equipped modern kitchen open to the living and dining areas. There is a bedroom with views on the main level and full bathroom, washer/dryer in laundry room, as well as access to a large screened porch off the front deck for all to gather.

The master bedroom is on the 2nd level , with on suite and private screened balcony with mountain views.

The top floor also has 2 bedrooms with a Jack-n-Jill bathroom in between, as well as an open bonus/loft area to enjoy separate TV viewing , board games or reading.

The finished basement level includes a 5th bedroom with kitchenette, full bathroom, as well as a washer/dryer. This level has a separate entrance from the outside, but is also accessible from the main floor inside.

5 cars maximum; NO trailers permitted.

Our group of faculty (for an area college music festival) stayed at this property for two weeks and it was perfect. The house was clean, comfortable, nicely decorated, and just what we needed for our group. We especially loved the deck for quiet, nature-inspired evenings, the chef's kitchen, and the multiple separate spaces for individual privacy. One night there was a local power outage, but the owner and property manager were very communicative and helpful so we had no worries. We would absolutely love to stay here again.

Excellent place. Had everything we needed in the kitchen. Plenty of dishes and cookware. Beds were comfortable and rooms quiet. AC upstairs a bit loud when running but air flow is excellent. Sunsets great from both back decks! We had no problems with the driveway. Would recommend

Great house for a couples trip

We had a wonderful stay here! We visited for a long weekend with several couples and would definitely return. The house is well appointed and a great space to spend time with friends. We loved the fact that each of the bedrooms had a queen bed. The hosts were incredibly responsive any time we needed anything at all. Thanks for a great stay.

Perfect cabin for a weekend wedding getaway

Property was beautiful and spacious for our group to crash for a weekend wedding. All 8 of us were able to have the room we needed to relax, but the common areas were spacious and well supplied for the group hangs. Easy access to local areas with an easy drive in and out of the property. Only caveat would be for people trying to avoid any wildlife sitings as the bear family truly does love to visit!

Girls trip

Loved the property. Very well appointed. Our only problem was the steepness of the driveway when exiting. We had an SUV, but the ruts and loose gravel made it difficult. Location was good for local attractions.

Mountain trip

Property was awesome. We were there for 3 nights with 9 adults and it hosted us perfectly. We only ate out twice and cooked the rest at the house in the fully stocked kitchen. Views are awesome and plenty of furniture to sit out on the deck and enjoy them. The host was very responsive and answered any question I had very quickly. Definitely recommended this property!!

Perfect for Bachelorette Party!

We loved this place!! We had 9 girls and we had tons of room to get ready, hang out, anything! It’s super well stocked - tons of mugs, silverware, everything (they even had shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the bathrooms). The view is amazing and there’s a screened in porch with lots of seating that we loved having our coffee at in the morning! Easy to find and get to in a normal car and we were all raving about how much we loved it. Definitely recommend!

Nice property but be aware... steep gravel driveway.

Very nice property, well maintained, well decorated and clean, but beware of very steep gravel driveway. Also be aware that the 5th bedroom is in the basement, away from rest of house. Returned home to a black bear in the driveway,, so keep car doors locked with no food inside.

Good times

House exactly as described. Clean, kitchen well equipped, though a few more larger pots would have been nice. We cooked every dinner there. Loved the porches, grill worked well. Good location for Asheville , Biltmore, state parks. Good grocery store a few minutes away. Only one complaint is the driveway, the lip is so steep, it made leaving and coming home quite an adventure. We were in a large passenger van, might have made it feel scarier than it actually is. We enjoyed our stay and lucky for us left the day before the flooding, if we hadn’t , we might still be there! We wish you all the best in your recovery efforts.

Susan, so glad you enjoyed your stay! We hope you will visit our home and the Asheville /Swannana area again once all the storm repair is done and the town of is back and up and running again! We have just completed redoing the driveway and are hopeful in the near future our community will be able to welcome back guests again! Thank you!
