Cabin was beautiful. Close enough to the lake that we could hear the loons every night while sitting by the campfire. Accommodations inside the cabin were great — very nice being able to clean up after meals with such ease & being able to do a load of laundry if needed. Host is awesome — very pleasant and responds quickly when contacted. Most definitely going to book for next summer.

This is a wonderful place for a family to vacation in. The host is very easy to communicate with. Also, this house is well equipped. This is the second year we have booked this place and we hope to again next year.

Cozy, Wonderful, Perfect!

Perfect location for our quiet weekend getaway. Close to plenty of activities. Wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely be back!

Wonderful camp in the woods

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this private, quiet spot in the woods. The property manager was very responsive each time we communicated with her. The camp was well stocked and very clean.We really hope to go back again!

Big Moose Lake

Came in for a weekend and the whole family was able to stay at this cabin. It was extremely accommodating and only a short walk to the Glenmore. We loved this place and highly recommend it if you're looking for a nice quiet get away.

The property was nice enough. I was a little disappointed in the creek as it wasn't suited for children to play in and I had planned on that keeping them occupied when we weren't busy otherwise. The shower makes a very high pitched squealing noise when in use which is not the end of the world but can be heard in the next bedroom and quite honestly is enough to drive you nuts! There also seems to be some issues with moisture control but overall we were satisfied and it met our needs. The cell service was less than ideal even with the wifi and due to such, we had to go back to town to get service to get the pass code to get into the house. It would have been helpful if the check in instructions advised of such.

Oh my goodness. I wish you had asked me about the creek beforehand. I could have let you know that it can be either low or high depending on the weather. But of course that depends on Mother Nature. The shower has amazing water pressure and is nice and hot but can squeal from time to time for some reason. I never thought that would be an issue but we’ll look into it. And in the heat of the summer, the Adirondacks can definitely be humid and wifi can be spotty at times, although we did get new service in the past year and we are finding it much more reliable. We have had some of our most relaxing and enjoyable times together with family and friends at our home away from home there in the ADKs. I sincerely wish you had had the same experience as we always do.

Holiday Weekend getaway

Well kept, well stocked cabin. Beautiful scenery around cabin, close drive to inlet and old forge activities (lakes , hikes, and Enchanted Forest/Water Safari!!Loved this cabin: enjoying a morning coffee and late night smores by the Campfire or curling up in the cabin by the gas fireplace with a good book i felt at home. Kids loved all the board games too!

A Great and Beautiful Place To Stay

The house was very roomy and comfortable. I had my children and grandchildren with me 11 of us all together. We had plenty of room. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We were there in late November and there was snow but they kept the drive plowed out. The property was beautiful. Being in Big Moose it is a little out of the way, but we would stay there again for sure.

Creekside Retreat - Big Mooose

We had a wonderful week. The house was very comfortable and a great size for the 8 of us. It was in a quiet and peaceful location but close to all the things we wanted to do. We had the added bonus of seeing deer, rabbits and wild turkeys! This is a wonderful place to stay and we hope to do it again soon.

Perfect Getaway

Loved the location of the cabin and the cabin itself. Warm and cozy, and plenty of room. Close to Inlet and Old Forge, would definitely recommend this property!

Great accommodations! Very clean! Perfect location!

The location was perfect for our visit! Loved the open floorplan of the kitchen and living room area! Bathrooms were very clean! Wish we could have stayed longer than the 3 nights....next time!!!

Very nice cabin!

Great location with quiet country atmosphere!

We enjoyed our stay here! We had a great dinner and drinks at the Big Moose Inn withiin a two minute drive. Easy to get to Inlet or Old Forge. Home was well equipped with all the anmenties. Thank you!
