Great House for a Family

This house is perfect for a family get-a-way or an extended family get together.
There is enough room for at least 10 people to stay comfortably. There are plenty of seating areas to be social and a great big screened in back porch to enjoy as well.
It is on a large wooded corner lot that is private from the neighbors. There is a free city bus that stops a block from the house that goes to all the attractions and shopping areas in Chapel Hill. there is also a walking trail near by that goes right to shopping and restaurants.

Relaxed stay in Chapel Hill

Close to UNC and shopping, this was a wonderful home in a beautiful neighborhood. Home had all the amenities and a nice backyard for our dog. We stayed for a week and would highly recommend.

Family wedding

Great family house with plenty of space to spread out. The owner was responsive and attentive to our needs. She even provided Halloween candy for us to give out.

Great Home for Large Groups

My friends and I rented this house our a weekend trip. The house and amenities were great and we would definitely stay here again should the occasion arise.

Incredible Experience!!

Mary's House was perfect! We were traveling for a doctor's appointment for our son and we reserved Mary's House. The house was so welcoming and had a great feel. It literally felt like home!! There was everything you could possibly need and the neighborhood was wonderful! We had a few neighbors wave and tell us hello while we were loading and unloading the car. The beds were super comfortable and the house was clean. We hope to stay again when we travel back.

Great for a Long Weekend

We had a group of seven stay here for a weekend wedding. The local was great, close to Chapel Hill, and in a lovely neighborhood. Everyone was very satisfied with the experience. The owner was very responsive, the check in and check out process was easy. Would definitely stay here again.

Another wonderful stay

This is the second time we have spent over a week at Mary’s house and have had a wonderful stay. Lots of bedrooms, big backyard, fenced in porch, two living rooms and well appointed kitchen were all huge pluses for us! It is also very close to the booker creek trail which is nice to walk on. Mary is lovely and was very flexible and easy to get in touch with as needed. She has a pack and play and lots of toys for my kids. Will stay again!

UNC graduation

Great home to accommodate grandparents for UNC graduation. We LOVED the back porch, it's the perfect gathering space. Convenient to campus. If I could be so fortunate to have another UNC grad, I'd stay there again.

Sweet and Comfortable House

This house was a great location for our visit to Chapel Hill and close proximity to the Friday Center. We enjoyed sitting on the back screened porch in the mornings and evenings. The house was well set-up with plenty of room for all of us to spread out and have some privacy.

Lovely neighborhood and home

We were three couples in town for a football game and the home offered us plenty of space and convenient location to campus and downtown chapel hill. Mary the host was friendly and responded promptly to questions. Loved the neighborhood

Great repeat visit

This was our second stay at Mary's wonderful house in Chapel Hill. The house was very clean, and it had everything our family of five (plus dog) needed for a week-long stay. Grocery stores (Wegman's, Whole Foods) are close, as are a wide variety of restaurants. Mary was very responsive to all communications. Highly recommended.

Nice house in a quiet neighborhood

We really enjoyed our stay at this spacious home in a very nice/quiet neighborhood. We were allowed an early check in at 1:00pm and Mary allowed us to return on the day we checked out to retrieve an item that we had left behind. The beds were comfortable and plenty of towels were provided. Thank you, Mary!

Very appreciative!

We appreciated being able to stay in Mary’s house for only one night as 5 bedrooms is a lot to flip for one night!! The house was very spacious, the living room was cozy and comfortable and perfect for our family to spend time together. The kitchen was well stocked. We had everything we needed! Thank you!

Wonderful stay

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely Chapel Hill home. It was perfectly set up for a family. There is a bedroom on the main floor with easy access to a bathroom. The main floor was well organized and comfortable. We also loved the screened porch with ceiling fans. There are 4 bedrooms upstairs. This includes a nice sized master bedroom. All of the rooms were comfortable. The owner is very nice and checked on us. My parents arrived before me and the owner was there to greet them and help them get in the house.

Great House but double check your dates

Cute house in a great location near where we used to live during college. Really enjoyed working with the owner. She was well-acquainted with Chapel Hill and gave us some great ideas about hidden places to go. There was some confusion at the end of the stay. She told us we could have the house except for the last night (which was the 4th) but then on the 3rd she arrived to cleanup and we had to get a hotel for an extra night.

Great stay

Great stay at Mary’s place. There were 8 of us and a dog in our party and we were very comfortable. Great communication with the host. We arrived very late on our check in day and Mary facilitated our check in with a very quick response. She also came to visit a couple of days later to make sure everything was alright. Great host!! The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to find everything we needed to cook our New Year’s Eve meal (pots, pans, etc). There was a jacuzzi that was warm and ready for us when we arrived, that was great! Overall we were very happy and would recommend the place to our friends and family.

Great family home

We gathered to Chapel Hill for my son’s wedding..the host Mary and I instantly bonded over the fact that our sons were getting married within months of each other and at the same venue! The home was perfect for my family to gather before the wedding and prepare also loved the porch .. it was a great location for people to drop by between events and wait for flights home . The home was very comfortable, well stocked and clean . My husband was also able to work quietly before the event in one the sitting rooms . Thank you Mary for being such a gracious host .. hope to see you soon… We came home to Hurricane Idalia and have been dealing with the aftermath!
